I think you do definitely suite a fringe but I agree with most people that it needs to be a but thicker and the longer bits at the sides need to be shorter. Overall I think you did a pretty good job with it though ❤️

I don't care what anyone says, I honestly think it really suits you, but the only thing off is what every single comment of this video says, the left side (from monitor, in real life it is probably your right side) is thinner, if it would be a little thicker it would have been perfect. And also, I think after a little while it would become more even and parting wouldn't be a problem, your hair just isn't used to it.

It may get straight. Your hair is just not used to not part there. It can take a week or so to adjust to a new cut

I cut my own fringe too ... at first I hated it and cried for 20 minutes😅, but then my friends advised to make it slightly thicker and so I cut it a bit more and now I like it 😂.

I think you look really good with a fringe i think if u get it done professionally and have it cut with like longish side bits it will look amazing also the gap goes away after washing it and styling it a few times💕

Soph, I'm exactly like you, I love the idea of a fringe, and seem to long term memory loss because I always get one cut in, then realise 1. My hair is too thin and 2. It's naturally a middle part. Then cry for 6 months till it grows out, then thinks, I might get a fringe cut back in 😂😂 but honestly if you get your mum to thicken it a bit and just shape it round your face you will like it! 💕

Sophie don’t lose hope so quickly, keep it for a week or so and wait until you’re used to it before you make a decision, I also think you’d like it a lot more if a professional sorts it out a bit (not that your attempt wasn’t good) x

I really like it on you. You look awesome with a fringe. I had the same problem with my hair don't want to stay in the middle but after some time your hair get used to it. Also you can help with rubbing your fringe with a towel after you washed it. Just rub til it's nearly dry and then comb it once to lay it the way you want to. Let it air dry and the gab will disappear :) I hope that you will love your fringe because it suits you so well 💕

My hair did that as well when I first got mine. You just have to blowdry it in the direction that you want it to go and leave it in a hair roller as long as you want. Worked for me.

You could also back comb it a bit and use texturising spray to play about with it a bit 🙈

Maybe try wetting it and drying it like you did but as you do pull it down with a brush and also pull it to each side as you do it? That helped me bc I have a little bit that sits like that too however my fringe is a bit thicker than that so some of the hair behind that piece also hides it 😂

I have a cow lick and when I first got my fringe last April it would always part away in the middle but if you keep at it you can train it! A trick I learned is to blow dry it (when wet through or damp, I usually have a spray bottle of water handy when I haven’t washed my hair) side to side and also blow it down, that way it trained it quicker! Also it would definitely help if you thickened your fringe because the weight of it would help it sit better :) x

As a hair stylist I'd say you did a good job however I would make it a little thicker, also try blow drying it to the side where it separates that should stop the gap the flat iron it down x

I really like it but I do definitely agree with a lot of other people saying it needs to be a bit thicker
I think the fringe absolutely suits you. It looks amazing! I had the same problem where the hair wanted to go to the side because of how I parted my hair. I just made sure that any time I washed my hair I used one of those round cylindrical brushes with heaps of metally bristles, and it all sat perfectly after that.
