Thanks for posting this! I am getting AT&T fiber installed tomorrow morning! This video helps allay my anxiety about the install process. My house is nearly 100 yrs old.
It’s actually super simple. They just run one line to your house to a little box and from that box it goes out and then threw a wall and then into the modem and that’s it. Good luck enjoy you’re gonna love it once they get it in.
It was nice to see AT&T’s fiber installation from start to finish. We recently signed up as well for the same service. I’d imagine if you were on a hardwired connection, you’d be getting speeds around 900-990. But 400’ish on a WiFi connection upstairs is pretty dang good!
@@TomLeeman We currently have cable 1000 down / 20 up. The faster upload will be really nice. Main reason we’re switching is because our cable company has a data cap of 1200 MB ($30 more a month gets you unlimited) which makes it more expensive than fiber. Us a family of four burns through that data cap by mid month. lol
Greetings from Germany i also soon get Fiber Optic with 1 Gigabit Download and 500 Megabits Upload i hope i can get a Symmetrical Connection meanwhile i have Cable Coax Internet from Vodafone with 1 Gigabit Download and 50 Megabits Upload on PC i get via 2,5 Gbit LAN 1080-90 Mbit Download and 50 Upload 😊
