Thomas’s papers are not in order, neither is Thomas 😂 the narrator is a savage
I was searching for this comment 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
omg ikr 🤣 I had to replay it twice to hear correctly
@@norbertschmitz3358/videosYea, I couldn't believe my eyes and ears how mean and heartless they were to that poor guy on disability pension. That's wayyyyyyyyyyy more than enough money. They think their country too good for him, like some kind of elitism.
@@linsqopiring6816
Australia has throughout it's history been a heaven of racism and bigotry.
The notion of a fair go for for anyone is just a myth.
In Thomas case however, it was just bad luck that the original officer sems to be a bully, and the supervising officer was simply a incompetent fool!
The fact that they couldn't even identify a valid Visa issued by an Australian Ambassy speaks volumes about their professional expertise!
No Australian Judge would ever uphold their decision on the grounds given.
It was simply unlawful !!!
Unfortunately, like in many countries in the western world, educational levels in Australia are in such decline that just about anybody can enter the public service and up in a position of power.
Like a Indigenous old man said, many decades ago,
"""Poor fellow, my country""""
He seems intellectually disabled ☹️
I honestly feel sad for Thomas because it's apparent his mentally unwell. No family. No friends. No one to help him. Maybe all he needs is some meds to help him sort out his thoughts. People who stop bathing are usually very mentally ill. I imagine it to be in a constant fog or daze.
Possible...the airline should have done something different...not subject others to him....
I feel sorry for Thomas
I think he has autism no meds for that sadly.
@@lovenimall He may be simple minded, but has enough intelligence to apply for American and Australian visas.
i`m happy to read these comments and sad that the many of them were about how disgusting he was. This man needed to be understood. If his family died after years of cares for their disable child, i´m not surprised that at his age he ended up like this. It was evident that his cognition was different. They just stopped by the smell but why they didn´t think about the word "disability". Just another sad story in the world.
I feel so sad for Thomas. He does appear to be unwell and has now lost money and doesn’t get a holiday. I hope he gets help in all areas of his life including personal hygiene
He's a grown man. What about the help those poor passengers had to go thru with his awful smell. Not showering!!GTFOH!!!!
I feel bad for people that had to sit near him on the flight. It would be repulsive to be forced to sit near someone/ next to someone on a long haul flight that hasnt washed.
Thomas needs a good tub. Maybe Ken could give him a tub and a bit of a sponge down.
His visa was legit and he had booked and paid hotel room. But he was smelly and a bit of a loner, so they just ruined his holiday.
@@JustMe-vz3wd And what would happen if the hotel refused him because of his odor? He would be on the street in a country he knows nothing about, and without a common language. He's actually better off in his home country.
I love how the handler kisses the dog for a good job.
It’s all over when the 4 legged officer arrives
I feel bad for Thomas. You can see he’s had a hard life and doesn’t look like he has much of anything. If he was bringing in something he wouldn’t stand out like he is. I pray his life gets better.
Taking a shower isn’t that hard . I can feel sorry for someone but they need to have respect for others
@@kinglxwz it is hard for people going through something
I feel sorry for whoever had to sit next to him for however many hours.
@@Minutes-iw2kq people say that , but it’s really not . Turn the water on warm and get in . Use soap. It’s really not hard . And it would make your feel better . If I’m going thru something I’m gunna shower . If you don’t shower it’s simply because you don’t want to.
@@AG-ig8uf me too. The stench off someone who doesn’t shower often can be sickening .
I feel sorry for the passengers who had the misfortune to sit beside "Thomas" on the plane.
Im surprised they let him on the plane
🤭 I also had a moment of silence for the unfortunate soul sitting next to him.
Some airlines are just ridiculous...greed....Peter pays for Paul...so unfair...
You don't know his story. He needs some understanding and compassion.
@@melindafraser6392 We can have compassion and understanding while still also having compassion for those around him. They are not mutually exclusive concepts. Careful falling off your high horse virtue signaling.
My first flight abroad, I had only $200 to live for 10 days in Spain. You will be surprised how little money you need living in a dorm and dining with cheese, jamon, bread, and wine.
My first trip overseas I had AUD$900 spending money. I was gone for two and a half years...
Admittedly I had permission to work but it still took over a month before I got a job. And I still had enough of that reserve left to go on a quick jaunt across to France before that job started.
Australia is different
Yep this wasn't about money. He has far more than half the ppl on this show and already paid for most of his trip. They kicked him out bc they think he's mentally ill and are worried he'll not leave and end up vagabonding around their country for yrs.
@@dollparts4918The guy already paid for most of his hotel costs. He could easily feed himself for ten days on three hundred bucks and especially ten yrs ago.
I think Thomas has some kind of disability, but that's no reason to take his visa away. He's paid his hotel in advance, so he will at least have breakfast there. If he eats cheap things from a supermarket or takeaways, he will get along with 50 dollars per day, and still can smoke.
Is there a law that you must go sightseeing and spend tons of money on the same nonsense you get anywhere in the world's tourist spots? For some staying in a hotel abroad and walking the streets around is enough. That he doesn't shower is a sign for a mental problem, but he was polite, showed no sign of aggression and seemed to know where he was and who he was (you don't need this to become president of the USA as we have learned).
Smugglers or people who try to avoid taxes by not declaring things in their luggage get a pass, but he is suspicious because he doesn't have any baggage? Seriously, this is absurd. So in the end they took his visa because he didn't shower. If he had done so and had worn shiny shoes they would not have had anything to construct their fantasy explanation why to pull his visa.
This world is strange. If you aren't materialistic, you get treated worse than any criminal at this border.
Your comment expressed my feelings on this very well. It's like if they don't like you they can always make up some nonsense reason to throw you out.
"You have so much luggage, you must not be a real tourist. You must be coming here to live or work".
"You have so little luggage, so??????????"
I'm not even sure what their rational is there.
His finances were way more than enough. Omg, I went through Europe on a shoe string budget in my youth for farrrrrrrrrrr less than that. That's insane they gave not enough funds as a reason. Clear cut case of discrimination based on his mental disability and he should sue them for millions although I know you probably can't. No accountability for these people.
he appears to have had untreated ASD or similar. I feel for him, he is a human being who deserved to be treated with the utmost respect and dignity. What he needed was a support worker to get involved as well as the interpreter. Plus, he looked rather young to be retired. he probably just receives a disability pension.
@@UnlawfulVRWe should start a go fund me!
i agree i think 500 dollars is more than for him.they wasted his hotel money just like that😔
Australia is all about money you cant come if you got less money
Thomas is a time traveler
Yep, and he hasn’t bathed since the 1700’s!😂😂
I laughed too hard at that
Thomas is a very unique character.
Poor Thomas has no friends , I know exactly how he feels.
He is unique, smart, with big heart, I know someone like him, so bad they cancel his visa , they judged him from his clothes
He may be autistic
I understand the concern about Thomas but he's not going to live it up every night. Some people can get by on very little cash. He's also a loner. He's just trying to have some fun.
They did't let him enter because he smelly bad ..they are scared that Thomas contaminated Australia! he had payed for 7 days in hotel probabaly with food include ! 500$ that for fun ..ice cream+ boat excursion ,t shirt souvenir ect! but at the end when i see the colours of the soap bars !!!20:23 😜🤢🤮but that not a excuse to cancel is visa!
Poor guy. They insulted him and made him lose his money.
Poor man needs help, not ridicule. He is not well. I bet if anyone took the time to get to know him they would find him to be a great guy. I could see it in his eyes and that sweet smile on his face. Be compassionate to him and remember that you could very easily be in his shoes 👞 👟 😢 Now he's back to the life i'm sure he thought he left behind. I don't believe he planned to go back. ❤ I pray he finds comfort and I hope someone helps him 🙏
I agree wholeheartedly. His eyes were kind. I think he needed some care and direction. He seemed very lonely, and a little lost. I'm sire at one time in his life he was quite loved.
I would have given a few dollars to see Thomas enjoy himself in Sydney for a week.
Like every other anonymous person online
As a tour operator and the former owner of a guesthouse I am well aware of visitors' body odours! One of those was a Polish professor who arrived from their winter into our summer, was wearing the same clothes on arrival and every time I saw him at the conference that week as well as on the Saturday when I took him back to the airport. To add to that he was a pipe smoker. I pitied the passengers who were destined to sit next to him for a 24 hour flight back to Poland. That's eccentricity, not necessarily a mental health issue. Or borderline ...
Thomas definitely just wanted to go on a holiday. Fully paid flights (with return)+ accomodation….it was so obvious he had all those cash withdrawn as his pocket money. Poor guy lost his money because of judgy officers…even disshed him about his smell…let the man live..
It's their job to be judgy, following prescribed guidelines. Let the country control its borders.
I think if he had brought along a suitcase with a change of clothes, he would not have aroused the suspicion of the border agents. I can't say I've ever seen a tourist travel so far without so much as a backpack of luggage.
Excuse me. Countries can’t afford to be emotionally “weak” just because it’s a “humamitarian” thing. US immigration was “friendly” BEFORE 911 and look what happened? It is a every tourists responsibility to read, research, and adhere to the visa policy BEFORE they travel.
@@Weaseltube/videos "judgy, following prescribed guidelines. "
And throwing someone out for being poor and having a disability is not among those prescribed guidelines. The guidelines are for criminals or people likely to overstay or work there. He did absolutely nothing wrong. That was heartless and blatant discrimination.
@@AkariFukada-ys7qe He had ample funds, $500 for 10 days is way more than enough, prepaid hotel, valid VISA , return airfare, what more do you want? Just threw him out because he was poor and disabled and crushed this man's dreams for a nice vacation that he must have saved for a very long time for.
Unfair with Thomas ... He has everything, Hotel Booked , 500 USD & valid VISA plus return ticket booked ..
Shame for Australian borders oficer who reject his visa becsuse of his appearance
I thought so too. $500 is enough for most people to live comfortably in a week when accommodation are already paid for. He may be unwell, maybe depression or something but that's not grounds to deport someone.
He’s not mentally fit to be travelling alone
They cancelled his visa because of the smell
You don't know that. He might not live the way you do, but that doesn't mean he is not fit.@Jordysegs89
Thomas needs someone to take care of him.
Ken will take care of him. Give him a sponge down and a hot bowl of soup and cup of tea.
Im effing mad about Tomas. Why would you deny him entry and make him lose so much money on plane tickets and hotel. The staff needs to be held accountable for unjust treatment and refund Tomas.
Who is going to pay for Thomas medical health care if he will get sick or have accident in Australia? I am sure the hard working Australian tax payers will not like to pay that for sure?
If Thomas decided to stay longer than 10 days? Who is going to look after Thomas? Who will provide foods and shelter for him?
He is clearly needs medical help, he needs to go back to his country and sort out his life first.
$500 US is over $700 Aus . You can eat cheap on your own + explore by bus & ferry
Thomas thinks he only needs to shower once a week. I think it's been weeks since Thomas showered.
HE JUST LET THE WATER FALL DOWN ON HIM 20:23 🤮🤮🤮🤮

I want to sponsor Thomas! He deserves a holiday!
JUSTICE FOR THOMAS!!!!!
Thomas was a looking for a Sheila to wife up.
Why don't YOU support Thomas? Help him get his hygiene together! Australian customs, well done! Let Thomas return to his home land!
He is a genuine tourist. He booked his accommodation. I feel that they cancelled his visa out of concerns that he will end up destitute. Poor guy has no friends or family, hope things will get better at home for him. Also it is sad to humiliate him on TV like this.
So to prevent his destitution they made him lose the money he spent on the hotel and flight and forced him to buy an additional ticket back with his last $500
I can smell Thomas from the U.S. -- bless his heart.
🤣🤣🤣
So hilarious @😂
if that's a southern ladies' 'bless his heart' I know what you mean ;-)))

I would like to see a documentary about Thomas.
that smile from Thomas @9:23
Leave Thomas alone. There’s no crime in being poor. I could easily live on 500 US dollars 4 ten days if the hotel already paid for.
Even if you hadn't paid for accommodation that's still enough staying at youth hostels, which usually don't have an age limit. He had $500 a valid VISA accommodations and a return ticket. That was an outrage and clear discrimination.

And Ken the Customs guy is a very raunchy man.
Tip of the day: don't pull your pants down at customs. And don't wait a year to take a shower and change clothes before flying to Sydney.
if Thomas was invalid with some sort of mental issue, I`m just very sorry for him. If his old parents died, the ones that always took care of him, the only thing we can say is: he was just a lonely person in the world.
Not lonely, just alone. I'm a loner, but never feel lonely.
Remember....if you ever consider becoming a drug mule....traffickers make sure there at least 2 to 5 of you in transit. Some are set up to immediately get noticed and be caught. They take away attention so some others, or even just one, gets through.
You will never know if you are the fall guy or the one that gets through....until you get stopped or you get through.
Tricky job. 😊
Thomas is main character on this clip 😁
Our government let in 500k immigrants per year that come here with nothing but won't let Thomas in for a week. Poor fella 😢
Good point.
Bless the K9 friends. Some things even AI and ChatGPT will not be able to do as efficiently
That not fair to Thomas. He may be mentally challenged, but shouldn’t be denied entry for that reason, especially after he had a shower. It’s common for people with early dementia to avoid showers.
Allowing such a vulnerable person into a foreign country would be irresponsible. He has no access to funds, doesn’t speak the language, has no luggage, and is travelling alone. The guy left a lit cigarette on a napkin on a seat in the airport.. he obviously can’t care for himself.

It would be easy to live off of 500 for a week. Just spend on food and traveling public transport.
In Thomas's case, he's obviously not going to buy anything anyway, except for what he needs to literally stay alive.
Im very disappointing in Australia for humiliating him like this. As if not showering (his own doing, obviously) wasnt enough BS they put him through.

this just made me feel so bad for thomas :/ no friends, no family, invalid pensioner who clearly has mental issues, i hope he can get help

Why did they have to keep doing close ups of Thomas's pimply face? Once was enough.
I honestly do not believe that no one complained about the smelll of this man. I would of tossed my cookies even if I was in forst class.🤢🤮🤢🤮
And you "should of" spent more than 20 minutes at school
Thomas is a sad case of neglect and too much of judgment instead of being a little kinder❤❤❤❤❤
How do you know, DO YOU KNOW HIM? ...Would you have him in your home?
LOL Custom officer roasting Tomas. "Here's the shower. Do you know how to use?"
I was just passed Security in the Nice Cote d'Azur airport the other day when 2 young 'hippies' passed me. Their body odor was so bad it almost made me puke. I don't understand how people can expect to board an aircraft and sit next to other when they smell so bad.
Oscar isn't wild? I caught that joke.
Love it when customs gets it wrong🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thomas needs to be in a mental health facility! How on earth he was able to travel internationally unaccompanied is beyond me
Thomas; changes his shirt once a week! How about his underwear! Once in a millennia?
Can you imagine sitting next to this stink-bomb on the plane for about 20 hours!
I would be asking for nose and ear plugs, because I bet he snores.
Poor Thomas; mental illness, isolation, and loneliness creates a person who doesnt try to disgust others. They truly give up at this point! Perhaps, it was his bucket list wish to visit Australia...Sad, really!
Poor Thomas 😢
He has enough money for his needs! He’s just a very modest person. Refusal is unfair!
That poor passenger who had to sit next to Thomas. 😢😢😢
Can you imagine having a 16 Hr flight with Thomas next to you 🥲
I was lucky to sit next to a person similar to Thomas, as the result I was upgraded to business class😊
With so many serious problems in this world, the focus on drugs is rediculous, and those machines I feel send out false positives. Worry more about serious criminals who carry explosives or have the potential to harm someone.
I feel so bad about Thomas. Its obvious he has limited income but just wants to travel the world and a planet that gave him life. We have too many restrictions on a planet that belongs to all of us. Yes he had a hygiene issue, but seemed like a kind soul.
A gentleman who looked like a street person with a wrinkly old paper bag went to a travel agent and said he was anted to book a trip around the world. The agent thought to himself “ha, riiight”!
The gentleman’s bag was full of money, the agent called the man’s bank…bank staff said that the man was totally good for the money, in fact he was an extremely wealthy man, just a bit eccentric!
The agent became one of my Professors and told us this story to teach us “Never judge a book by its cover”!! 😊
Thomas was invented in some kid's dream as an anomaly.
If the stench was that bad why was he allowed on the plane,I've seen someone refused boarding simply because of his personal hygiene!
We want Thomas in Australia
You have no clue what type of a man he is
Thomas looks like a ebay version of Hardy in Laurel and Hardy...
These ppl are very wicked thomas is not all there,he booked hotel+return ticket home .This man just wanted to get away for a bit 500$ is almost 800$ Australian dollars,he is on a budget nothing wrong with that. They should have let him go through😢😢
But, things can happen. The $800 AUD won’t last very long if any unforeseen event happens, let’s say, falling ill. He very likely needs to travel on public transport, and his hygiene is a concern for other people who takes showers on a daily basis. He’s been offered multiple times of showering himself but he refused. Pensioner or otherwise, he can’t convince immigration officers that he has access to sufficient funds, for example in the form of a credit card with money loaded. Had he got like $1000 USD cash the officer might think otherwise. I think cancelling his visa is very much justified.
How do you know...Do you know him
Would you let him around your kids >??
Who calls the senior inspector 'mate' ??
Always watching from Georgetown Guyana south America 🇬🇾🇬🇾
Why he wearing thigh slit pants 💀
Thomas prepaid his hotel and airfare and head $500 for his walking around money. Other than personal hygiene refusing him was unwarranted. I'm sure he would've been fine. Now on a side note the Moors taught Europeans to bathe over 700 years ago, he needs to be taught again!
I believe the Romans and Greeks bathed much more than 700 years ago.
Did you not hear the immigration officers reason for cancellation? They assessed him as being high risk of being a consulate case.
Sounded harsh to me too. If his flight and hotel are booked and paid for and he has $500 to spend for a week he should be allowed in.
@@gweilospur5877 his mental state was taken into consideration as a risk.
Legends say Thomas has been securely moved into the Russia-Ukraine border to stop the war and clear the zone with his sheer presence 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That’s great!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
They swab me every time and pat down so annoying
Change your appearance.
I get the pat down after going through the imaging machine. It doesn't like my bras. Maybe because I don't wear an underwire and what kind of freak doesn't torture themselves with an underwire? Next time you get a pat down, say, "My favorite part!" And maybe carry something in your bag to try to get a laugh out of the person checking your stuff. Might as well enjoy yourself if you've got that "look."
The officers seem annoyed they failed to catch someone because the passenger was innocent 😮shouldn't they be happy that no drugs were attempted to be smuggled.

That is terrible for Tomas to even consider travelling on the plane and expect other country to let you in without the mean of supporting himself 😢👎👎👎👎 . He is being selfish and irresponsible!
I can’t stand being in a grocery store with someone who has horrible body odor. Can you imagine having to sit next to someone like this for hours in a plane?!😬

Imagine sitting next to Thomas on the plane for 10+ hours. Nightmare
I am sure they got used to it after 10-30 minutes.
The fact is Thomas has paid for most of his stay and has a ticket home. He has far more money than a decent portion of ppl on this show who were allowed in for much longer stays. If they simply followed their own rules, they'd let him in. It makes me think that they simply don't like his stance on cleanliness and the fact that he's odd.

Thomas flew in fr Spore actually, so Spore airlines was given a fine for letting Thomas inflight in such an unhygienic condition.
Thomas is "Thanos" after this episode😂
Am sure Thomas would have made the week (not 10 days I guess) on $500 (he has done other trips). But, I can certainly see why Australia decided that is not good enough for them. The guy is a "consular risk" as the supervisor noted.
Oscar understood O.K. Just lying, not successfully either.
"sorry sir, you have a valid visa, a return ticket, a booked and paid for hotel room, 500 dollars for ten days, but you are WEIRD AND SMELLY, so you are denied entry."
Oscar looks like Rob Thomas
So sad Thomas needs a shower and help. Not more rejection😢
Australia is really like should be a healthy country. In Italy where I am living it's simply no rules. So mass immigration is destroying all.
