If I am correctly understanding which sound you were speculating about at the end, it sounded like a kalimba. A kalimba is an African instrument that is made by fastening metal strips over an opening in a dried gourd or wooden box and is played by plucking the ends of the metal strips that extend over the opening.
OMG I have been secretly hoping you guys would want to dance around in white lace gloves with me and Becca, but I didn't want to be the one to ask first 😭 I love how happy this band makes you guys; I've never seen Dallas smile so much for a song before lol I don't play an instrument or anything, but I love the videos this band's lead guitarist makes showing how to play some of their songs or the techniques they use since it's so interesting and cool to see how talented they are in a way that's more broken down. It's also crazy that this song was released when he was like 22 or something like that, so practically a little child 👶(at least to me in my old age, 22 is super young). As for the noise at the end of the song, at first I thought it sounded like a kalimba but I can't find anything online that confirms what it is so I have no idea but now I feel like I want to know cause it's kinda cool. Andrea's probably right though, it's probably just some computer generated noise.
LOL I love the idea of this and I am also glad they mentioned that cause honestly where’s the lie 😂 can’t say I thought of the idea but I am so here for it y’all! lol I’m down to dress as old ladies too.
Kinda sorta off topic of this video but also not really but in the Unprocessed song you reacted to I know there’s comments mentioning how they give Polyphia vibes, except with a vocalist. And that’s a fair comparison. But I forgot to mention that Unprocessed has a song on their new album that features Tim and Scott (the two Polyphia guitarists) that I’ll have to send ya at some point. It will also show you a heavier side of Unprocessed.
As always, ladies, it's good to see you, and I hope you're well 8^) Polyphia re-invigorated my love for guitar. Their collaboration with Steve Vai, "Ego Death", from their album "Remember That You Will Die", is guitar porn. I love it tremendously, but it's straight up pornographic how they use their instruments, and I'm 100% here for it.
This song is such a jam. Seen em live twice and its just jaw dropping talent.
Me and my wife just saw them for the first time a couple of months ago and top 5 concerts for sure. Great live energy
Saw them at the Factory in Dallas, Tx. Completely packed crowd, was amazing.

Im sure someone will correct me if im wrong, but i believe the women in the video were the band members real grandmothers 😂

Gotta listen to ABC from Polyphia soon. Hyperpop vocals throughout
Ego Death with Steve Vai next?
You should check out O.D. from the album “New Levels New Devils”. One of my all time favorite Polyphia tracks

Unprocessed also opens for a lot of Polyphia shows!

This is a fun one
Check out their song Bloodbath with Chino Moreno from the Deftones. It's so good
