Thank you for this review! A month ago I was torn between getting a point and shoot or an m100 and ended up getting the latter and I'm so glad I did. I make cinematic short films on my channel with nothing but the m100 and a tripod (yes, wth just the Kit lens) and it is UH-Mazing! For the price point it does not disappoint. Also it's very sturdy, I take it up mountains and it holds up well with no issues so far.

I think my main likes about the camera is the flip up screen and the quality, it’s pretty sturdy too as I have dropped the camera a few times and it’s been in a backpack with things on top of it, my main dislikes are how quickly the camera battery dies, I believe these things share the same batteries the point and shoots do, so they just use battery so quickly.
For the price point, it’s nice, I make videos using just the stock kit lens and tbh, it doesn’t disappoint.
I ended up returning my canon m50 and will also be using m100! very capable and compact camera and perfect for my use! thanks for this review

Thank you! An option to reduce the fps will pop up then you can record for 25mins. 😊

How about in low light setting? I do DIY indoor and not mch light coming in, I needed a camera that will be good in low light setting.
I suggest using a ringlight, this camera is just ok in low light setting.. 🙂

Good review, but can you explain to me if I can record videos longer than 10 minutes in 30 frames per second mode. What other camera did you use in that movie?
30 mins recording in 30fps

Hey, once the 10 mins is over can you record more videos after without having to remove space? new to cameras, may sound like a stupid question lol.
Yes you can. And The 10 minute limit is only with 60 Fraames per second, when it’s 1080p and 30 seconds you can record for 30 minutes
Fujifilm XA3 for inly P19,990 CANON M100 for 21,599 which one is better?
i haven't tried the Fujifilm XA3 yet hehe..
Fujifilm XA3 lighting is so low even you are using lighting so i suggest the canon m100🧡

When i started my adventure with Canon that was model Eos 300, 350d and 450d, before I had russian aparat name Zenit... at this moment family "M" meaby M100 or 50...best regards from Poland

What's the battery life & any heating issues??
I havent calculated the battery life exactly. It won't record if the cam is too hot. But I have no issues yet. Hope this helps.

Hi. About sa warning, after 10 minutes na naka 50fps, magstop yun video recording para makapag switch to 25fps?
yes-- if consecutive video recording, matic sya mag-rereduce ng fps.. then more than 20mins na sya pede magrecord.. this only happens if matagal ka nagrerecord nang sunud-sunod.. It will ask you to reduce the fps once the camera is hot already.. BUT it will return to 50fps 10mins recording if napahinga mo ung camera ng ilang minutes... I hope I explained it well 😅

maganda po ba image/video quality sa lowlight at hindi?
not the best quality sa low light but good enough.. it kind of has a grainy filter but if you have a ringlight or softbox or a good amount of light, it would look better.. 😊

Depends on the person’s tolerability.. what I do is i also wear it like a crossbody bag, hassle lng if you do a quick shot.. 🙂

I think 8.. i dont use mic sa lahat ng vids ko..recommended for vlogging tlga sya.. you can also adjust the audio sa video editor mo.. 😊.. Hope this helps.. ☺️

Bisayang Laagan Vlogs yup. It’s what im using po for vlogging.. plus my iphone 😊
