M&B Bannerlord Is A Perfectly Balanced Game With No Exploits - Infinite Money Glitch Is Broken

- Mount And Blade Bannerlord Has finally released into early access after over 8 years of development and well the game certainly has some unique features and game balance. So today The Spiffing Brit is going to show off how Broken Bannerlord is by using an infinite money glitch / exploit to get over a million gold in a very short period of time. The Adventures of Spiff Brit are not over yet though as we have many more videos to come showcasing Infinite Army Exploits, Infinite Towns and oh so many more game breaks and glitches. So lets see if M&B Bannerlord Is A Perfectly Balanced game with no exploits or is giving players an infinite money glitch broken. I guess its up to a funny montage of exploits with a cheeky english brit to decide. Ok well it is certainly overpowered... Really really overpowered.
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold. If you enjoyed this then be sure to check out more. The style is similar to RT game and callmekevin in parts. A large influence on this series has come from Valefisk and The Killian Experience.
So sit back relax and enjoy Bannerlord With an Infinite Gold exploit!

#funny #exploit #Bannerlord
Not only are you playing a mostly Pacifist character, you're demilitarizing all the cities by smelting their weapons
Killing them with kindness.
And then turning around and building bowmaking shops
*screams in American*
Who knew beating swords into plowshares could be so profitable?
The god Spiffing Brit, does nothing by chance
"I've never seen the Southern Empire lose a battle."
Meanwhile in my game, Rhagaea, Empress of the Southern Empire, gets captured by Looters.
In my game every ruler got captured by Looters at least once xD
in my game the southern empire no longer exists. Glory be to the Khanate!
Man, soooo many lords get captured. The highest group of looters I saw was 102... like wtf
In my game she's been captured (and freed herself) no less than 8 times. The southern empire also has been under attack from at least 2 empires at a time, at one point 3 and 4 empires, and yet they have maintained at least 6 cities.
Lmao
I love how the first "Exploit" is actually just what being a trade merchant is.
Scamming people and making profit, the true merchant way
I would almost agree with you except for the fact that most people are too stupid to be able to play these games. To the moron, efficiently navigating game mechanics is a form of cheating. In fact, using any tactics that deviate from running and gunning and breaking everything in sight is dishonorable. Corner camper they call me, I wasn't camping in the corner, I was camping in the window shooting all of your dumbass friends in the street and then I heard you're a loud ass come up with the stairs so I retreated to a more defensible position so I wasn't just standing out in the open like a f****** moron.

Early access after 8 years. big OOF
I don’t know, if you followed the development of the game, but a fat while of the development time was focused on building an engine to support the game, as there aren’t any engines that supports 1000 man battles very well.
comrade viper game is in early access, not an EA title
@@tobiaschristensen2691 i didnt really follow the development after the first few years but i imagine building a new engine would suck. i hope the updates keep being as constant as they have been because the game needs it. they need to eventually scale up the size of the seige battles though. its an entire battlefield in the early gameplay footage.
an exploit i found gave me essentially infinite trade xp almost instantly and all you needed was a lot of money and a town.
Step 1. Buy all misc goods in the market
Step 2. Put all misc goods into your stash (for some reason the stash counts as a market) which will give you trade xp
Step 3. take all misc goods out of your stash
Step 4. Sell all misc goods into the market
Step 5. repeat steps 1-4 for infinite trade xp (Note you buy the misc goods that you just sold)
then from there you unlock the ability to barter for other peoples fiefs which is also broken as the lords value their fiefs at negative amounts so you can demand their fiefs in a barter and the will accept it even if you demand all their money with their land
That's amazing
Spiff do this

1:17 I have never said "I want D" so quickly in my life.
Is it bad I also bought this game because I almost intuitively knew Spiff would break it?
My own discovered exploit: If you're confident in your combat abilities and/or you have really decked out weapons and skills that make you a beast on the battlefield, you can defeat armies easily twice your size or more. Once you've entered battle you can hit TAB and retreat instantly at pretty much any time you wish at no cost to you whatsoever, but any damages done to either sides forces or your avatar's health remain... however, what I've discovered is as long as your main character's health doesn't drop below 20% or so, he/she can always reengage in battle again. What this essentially means is, you can start a battle, leave your troops behind you, then run circles around your enemy and pick off stragglers with either a high-power bow or a nice lance/spear, and the second things start getting dicey you quickly retreat, reengage, rinse, and repeat. Every time you kill someone, they either remain dead or wounded/out of battle in the next cycle. Eventually you can just kill enough enemy units with enough hit and run tactics that it evens the odds between your mismatched forces until either an auto-resolve is much less risky or you just outright thin their numbers to your complete victory.
TL:DR; If an army is bigger than you, attack with vicious and terrible waves of horse archers, kill units, instantly retreat (before falling below 20% health), rinse, repeat, and kill everything. You can hit them, they can't hit you. If it worked for Ghengis Khan, it can work for you too.
Guerilla warfare is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits
Conquer all the land with your army of horse archers!
Yoi know the Mongols did this?
*Approves in Genghis Khan"
Boi ive been doing this for 10 years in War Band! Its is honestly an OP strat
you missed something. when selling materials from smelting you can sell them to caravans for insane prices sometimes and the prices on the caravan doesnt change until it reaches a town so if you save a shit ton of metals then find a caravan with stupidly high prices you can sell to them until they are almost out of money hit done exit out of the dialogue then click on them again and resell. the money in the caravan refreshes every time you exit out and i have seen some where they were buying steel for 400-500g and iron for 250. You can also use your companions in your party to smelt by just clicking the picture when you are in the smithy and switching to them which is really helpful with the smithing stamina crap. i would go around and kill the sea raiders or other higher level bandits because they give more weapons that smelt to steel and smelt everything in a town and while i was waiting for smithing stamina i would watch for caravans coming to the town. made it really easy to just stop waiting leave the town sell all the materials and go back to smelting.
Just a PSA for those that are expecting to jump in and get rich quick. The workshop exploit was fixed 3 days before this video aired.
Also, selling large amounts of one Trade Good in one place, lowers the buy price. You can actually see this as he is selling. The sell price listed, is dropping and he is getting less money. You can actually lose money by doing this. Just spread your sales around between a few places so as not to glut the market.
But it did make for an entertaining video. Nothing beats "Spiff being Spiff".
I was going to say the same thing.
I've never seen caravans (or villages) do this, so if I have a ton of flax to sell and an extra gold is 20% of my profits, I try to find a caravan that will pay extra for it.
great... wish I had checked the comments before wasting my time
@@NissEhkiin Well man, this whole video, while entertaining, essentially boils down to 'If you play the game as a Merchant, using the trade mechanics, you make money.' It's really not an exploit at all, and a lot of the things he suggests in this video you'd learn on your own after just a couple of hours of playing. On top of that he's doing a lot of this stuff wrong and making absolutely awful profit margins. What you really wanna do is run a massive circuit around the outer edge of the map, stopping in every major Town/City to buy and sell stuff at every stop. I love Spiff, but this video is just false advertising; The Game's Built in Trade Mechanics =/= Infinite Money Exploit.
If you want a proper guide to Trading and workshops, and learn how to /really/ maximize your profits, i'd recommend looking up ESO's Bannerlord Videos/Playlist
@@NukerMunkyGames The exploit was not in trading, rather that it started with trading. The exploit, as such has been patched, was in the workshops.
How to break the game:
Step 1: Horse archers
Step 2: Horse archers
Step 3: Horse archers......
i prefer max Tier Ranged Archers on Foot and just retreat after the first couple shots... u can easily solo an 500+ army with 30-90 plebs that way .. On Foot cause they arent such a big target ... also you can just split the large archer group into 2-4 smaller forces and shoot them from all sides
That same 'horse archers are OP' bug plagued the real world for a few hundred years around the 13th century when the Mongols decided to take over most of the European continent... until the Western countries patched it by spamming luxury items to make everyone soft and easy to conquer with better technology.

Day one of only consuming Yorkshire Tea Gold; Nothing huge so far, met the Queen in my sleep. She told me to keep going and all will be revealed
Oh shit you're gonna be immortal soon enough
The Queen is weak!
Nothing but a puppet of the glorious grain gods!
Be prepared for grain tea!

The workshop bug was fixed a couple of days ago
I made the mistake of trying it for hours and it was fixed like 4 days ago
@@thefficialOrc same, I kept wondering why it didn't make me rich :/
But they haven't fixed the tournament AI, keep riding in circles poking everybody and I'm always just out of reach
I really hope they continue updating and fixing problems in this game. It has soooooo much potential and is already solid
When Harvest Season called, spiff, I knew you will answer. And you did.
playing like 100 hours so you can have 10 workshops and a max character, what an exploit 🤝
So 3 months later for whatever reason I've rewatched this trilogy of Spif of the House Brit Warband easily a couple dozen times. There's something about the tone, pacing, and plot line of actually playing the game across a character to essentially an end game (despite ignoring the plot entirely) that's just very calming and relaxing. I say this as a compliment: I setup a mini Playlist of these three videos and set them playing to relax and take a nap. With world events (and the prolonged version in the US) things that reduce my anxiety are very nice. (and yes because of Spif, I've ordered that brand of tea, and I drink it instead of coffee in the morning. I'm from the South, so I still slightly prefer iced tea later in the day and evening)
just a video for those that can travel back in time when this video was relevant
You actually can if you wish. Just right click and go to Properties, then select the BETAS page, and pick your poison. But they did fix a lot of game breaking things too, so do so at your own risk :p
Whenever Spiff asks the question, the answer is _always_ "D". _ALWAYS_ .
There's a mod called Workshop Stash that essentially brings this exploit back by allowing the workshop to stash what they make in a separate town inventory. It also has a stash for input materials too, so you don't need to worry about the materials going up in price or having caravans come and buy it. I made over 200k in a few hours with this active.
Finances aside, it gives a much more detailed insight into what is happening. Sometimes your workshop will only make basic items and then other times they make super rare bows. It's these super rare bows that were causing the big spikes in income before they nerfed workshops. Knowing this, the developers could have simply implemented a way to make the super rare bows harder to make. Or as the workshop levels up, they make more and more rare and expensive items. Makes much more sense than simply limiting the profit to 200 a day.

honestly, what are our accomplishments at 32 ?
krix pop That’s true if he would’ve live longer he might have conquered more land than the Mongols did in the ancient times. And his achievements are something to be very proud of but sadly he passed away young.

For me it's the complete opposite cause in my play-through they were wiped COMPLETELY off the map XD
Every play through is completely different gotta love it!
I think they intentionally released this game untested so Spiff can find all the bugs for them and they wouldn't have to pay people to test it for them.
In turn exploiting the spiff while he exploits their game.
Workshops got nerfed before spiff even released the video lol
All of these exploits were found by the community
I don't know why, but I've rewatched this video series like a few dozen times.
Ive got an even easier early game moneymaker:
NO CAPITAL, PURE PROFIT
*Find village with "herd quest" (horses preferably on horse-producing villages)
*Sell half since quest only requires half
*Then complete the quest
*Profit
I'm so early that the video is showing 0 views.
Wow, this is a first. I love your videos Spiff, please be sure to keep it up.
This is the first Spiffing Brit video I've seen an automatically got a like and sub. I think it's the salacious "Very goooood" that did it
