As someone who lives behind enemy lines sometimes the "work around" is a push back. Depends on which work around.
my interest in this revolves more around it being an excellent suppressor host ( like my current lever guns ) with AR mag benefits. Plus as you mentioned about running a wide variety of speed/weight loads ,in particular with .300bo , with out having to adjust gas blocks/springs/buffers . plus the ability to run a much broader choice of ammo over a traditional lever gun . One other benefit is having a free float barrel for better accuracy over a traditional lever gun making it a great option for prairie dog hunting in .223 .
This is the main benefit I see. Accommodating a mag lets the gun get spitzer type bullets into a lever-action setup and vastly increases capacity, so now calibers like 5.56 and (more importantly) 300BLK are on the table. Which in turn gives you a rifle that you can fire quickly without taking your hand off of the fire controls, unlike w/ bolt action, but that also keeps the chamber sealed during firing. Huge benefit for suppression. Could make for a good hunting rifle or just a dedicated suppressor host for the range if you don't want to compromise on speed, ergos, capacity, or manual of arms *that* much compared to a normal AR.
Prairie dogs with 223? Those little suckers would explode like a hotdog left in a microwave too long.
@@herbderbler1585 my usual PD gun is a 22-250 running a 50gr vmax at 4100fps 😁 pretty close to the hotdog with a little more pink mist 😄
I live in The People's Republik of Massachusetts. This is the Holy Grail. I WANT ONE!!!
It's not bowing down to provide a product for those in need. Hopefully it's just for the interim. Until the unconstitutional laws are defeated.
I like these quirky innovations just because they're fun.
Not everything has to fit into a selected category like tacticool or nostalgic.
When I can afford them I'd like to pick up a Fightlite SCR lower and a Herring lower. Just to put in my collection.
Things that are interesting and functional always appeal to the tech geek in me
I saw this lever action AR on a Shot Show video about a week ago and I like it. I think when more people see this, I think it will catch on fast. It looks really cool to me and I can’t wait to get my hands on one.
I think you kind of missed the boat on just how great the Flightlite lower is or the rifle. I have one I built with just the lower. I did that because the AR platform is one of the most accurate rifles I've ever shot next to my Savage 12FV in 6.5 Creedmoor and levers are not known for moa accuracy. My build started with a Bear Creek Arsenal 18" 350 Legend medium weight barrel and I plugged the gas port. I used a Aero precision upper with a BCM Mloc tube type 11" free float forend with a full rail and a BCM nitrated bolt. Not only is it easy and cheap to load with 158gr 357 XTP's and lil' Gun pushing them to over 2500fps but with a SIG Buckmaster 3x9x50 on top 5 rounds will cloverleaf at 100 yards in a single hole you can cover with a quarter. I have 4 leverguns from 357 Magnum to 454 Casull and not one will shoot that accurately, cheaply, have a box magazine meaning I can use pointed bullets or the versatility of the Flightlite. Hell, I mounted a Romeo 3 red dot, loaded up some 350L with home cast and powder coated .357" 140gr flat point bullets, added a few grains of AA5744 and was shooting for a nickel a round with a supply of $30/k primers and that Flightlite lever just gobbled them up out of a 30 round AR mag, never missed a beat or a beer can at 50 yards.
I'd be interested as a lever gun fan, but not for that money in the calibers offered. Now, if they sold the lower for say 5-600 so I could slap my 450 bushmaster upper on there......🤔
I’ll be curious to see what they sell just a lower for.
The lower is listed on their website and it says it’ll work with standard uppers.
@@SargeC4Defense I didn't see it listed, I'll have to look again. I just saw the rifle listed.
We all would like to see the fight taken to ban states. I live in CT. So this option is great.
What makes it appealing especially in states like NY is it is legal, ca. have a threaded barrel and is immune from LI ensue to now purchase a semiauto rifle. Would be interesting to see if they can offer a pistol caliber version . See no reason it could not be fitted with a 22 lr conversion. An interesting variation would be a 30 carbine
What draws me to this option is not just the large number of calibers, but possible load development potential. Sure it's a bit of high intro cost compared to other lever actions, but considering the degree of accuracy and in some cases reliability potential compared to standard lever actions this seems like a one size fits all (almost, a 22lr build may be a bit difficult), if this can handle pressures as high as 50 Beowulf we're in business. Effectively I can take this almost anywhere.
Fudd Guns are best!
Yup
Put a 350 Legend upper on it and ya got a 30-30 with a removable magazine. :)
That could be sweet
357 maximum with a removable magazine
@@franktalarico689 The ballistics of the 350L are very comparable to the 30-30. The .357 is a pistol round with much less energy.
@@hazcat640 357 MAXimum not magnum
@@franktalarico689 AH! I miss read that!
For those bitching about cost, they will probably offer a lower that you could use any upper on. In a restricted or restrictive state , it will sell. As you said a 308 would be a good option
Likely get one and buy a 458 socom to have both as my big do all fun guns
First 👍
I'd buy it
I want one in 6.8spc or 350 ledgend or 300blk
I think it's interesting that they say Kel-Tec engineers do too much cocaine
What happens to the charging handle? How easy is it to reach the mag release button?
The charging handle is no longer needed because it’s lever action also the mag release buttons in the same place so it’s just as easy to reach as if it was a regular A.R. 15
Let me make a .458 Socom Mares Leg!!
That’s gonna hurt to shoot lol

The Fitelite company builds rifles in a factory in Tibet using Buddhist craftsmen who build a rifle a month and ship every Presidential administration. At least that’s how hard it is to get their stuff. And that was WELL BEFORE the 2020 shenanigans.
This rifle isn’t an option.
Source?
i have a super sekrit source that says the holdup was the stocks, and since... clearly, the rifle they made has a stock, that holdup is no more.
SCRs and herring 2024s alike will be far, far more available than they were in the past.
source: dude trust me bro and
it was revealed to me once in a dream
They have several scr available on their sight right now
@@Adam-dn1vp Nope. All gone. And I checked 5 hours after you posted.
Stop the negativity bro!
How does it shoot?
Shoots pretty good actually lol
.30-30 prc? New 30-30 rounds
Premo idea for nz
: Just outstanding 🐢 👍 🐢 😀 🐢 👀
Most new zealanders just kept there non- tactical looking AR-15s (there was no registry previously) and are just staying quiet until the government changes and repeals that bad law or until after n-kes fly from Ru-sia...
But for those new Zealanders just buying guns now, this gun is about as good as you will get.
Way to much cost for what ya get. Also they only offer it in puny small calibers. If they made an AR 10 version Alot of deer hunters would use it. They won't sell hardly any of these cuz of the caliber selection. This should of been ar10 compatible.
your just a downer !
