Huge potential! The ceiling on the top floor looked new as well. It may have a new roof on it.

Being in a earthquake zone. I love it. Good size rooms. Even the kitchen decor looks
funky. Needs love. I wonder what the views are out some of those windows .newer town. Old village. ? What a place for a low budget.

You can see the streets in the outside photos. Imagine that sums up views. Ok place. Lot of work.

Heads up on PVC windows. The material and build quality can vary greatly depending on the manufacture. I would go with the best reputation you can afford. For me, I would never use them. Too many problems with warping, discoloration and seal leaks. You put plastic outside in the sun and it'll wanna move and discolor. They're 20 year windows at best.

Hi Brad, I’m curious why you don’t like exposed electrical wirings, assuming the wirings are properly insulated from the walls. Isn’t it easier to fix exposed wirings than buried ones?

    • @BradsWorld

Too sloppy for my taste. Wires running everywhere. This isn’t nice braided wire running on insulators, it’s stapled to the wall. There is a reason that it’s not the standard.

I think I rather just pay for a place that's atleast 75,000 and up instead of taking on this task...it would be too costly...I've seen a few properties on your channel that have fewer hassles...when I buy I don't want to have to do too much..hopefully less...move-in ready if possible...lol

I meant to out in a listing photo of a place in town that was similar but already done. 🤦🏼‍♂️. I always say in general better to buy ready to go. Who wants to spend the time and hassle but interesting to see.

I enjoyed finding out about prices in general in Italy, thanks for your dedication

Im surprised at the high price of the tile compared to the reasonable prices of the other kitchen+bathroom components.

    • @BradsWorld
      @BradsWorld  День тому +2

You can buy regular tile here for €8-12/M3. That’s like ~$1.00 sq ft.
But these 12” backed rules are a bit more, and I think they were an other $10 each in US.

Brad excellent video and shopping. The prices seem so affordable and commensurate with the US?, I live in Canada, and things cost so much more, especially labour. And thoughts on plaster costs per/square foot? (interior vs exterior) as I expect there is still talent to be found. Thank you for your work.

It is much cheaper here for sure!
Not sure on exact costs for coatings.

Great houses everywhere, cheap, problem is to finance, we live in Italy now, finding amazing places under 30.000,-- euro, but no bank to finance us, despite the fixed pension income, for the argument is, it's non Italian income, I am a Dutchman, so European with an Italian residence permit as my wife.
What to do, keep going and look for ways..
Anyway, love living here, it's amazing.
    Greetings from Mondavio

No banks want to finance an amount that small. Not worth the time to get a €100 payment for 20 years. 🙏🤷🏼‍♂️😬

Hey Brad, are all the internal walls in italyproperties (like this one) stone or brick?
