gam gam is one of my fave characters and was my frist cosplay ever. i hvant even finished the comic to this day, i really need to to figure out whats going on, and then act 8. he deserved better imo, someone give the poor clown a hug.
Yeah, Gamzee has always been one of my favourite characters, I love him so much and feel so terribly bad for him and everything he went through :( He really deserves a great big hug
Yeah, I know that the only reason Gamzee stayed in was because he had a major role in the end, but I know the Hussie absolutely *hated* Gamzee for some reason, so he made Gamzee go through thing after thing and just made him seem like a bad character that's getting worse throughout the comic

ive commented here before but it popped up again so i watched it and, mmmm, feels. i used to related to gamzee REALLY hard when i first got into homestuck iiin..9th? grade (parental abandonment, friends tolerating me, ect). and watching this again, the "just to be a kid again" part freakin, hit me way harder then i expected it to?? still an amazingly well done edit and i reeeally need to watch the fan made act 8 i guess haha.
I'm glad it means so much to you, this is still my favorite animation that I've made and I'm glad others love it like I do and more and in different ways even still, like 9 months later :>
Maybe kinda late but nwver hurts show appreciation; as Gamzee kinnie, I really loved this. Thanks, sometimes people kinda want to guilt and take Gamzee as "he was evil all the time." One cant really know what's in Hussie's head, that literally dont having any particular feelings about Gamzee, just for ending hating him at the point that genuinely wants to make him suffer every time it got the chance. Its hurtful, and these kinds of edits makes me feel good, cozy and calm. Like one singing a lullaby for Gamzee to sleep. Lmao, anyways, good work, I loved it!!

i read this last year and i started crying, like i dont understand why hussie couldnt make a good ending for karkat and gamzee together :(
