Father and Son Duet - Ashokan Farewell (from The Civil War by Ken Burns)

I've been watching a lot of Ken Burns lately, his documentaries are great! Really entertaining and informative, and I'm learning a lot about American history. This gorgeous tune was featured in The Civil War, though it actually wasn't written for it. It sure sounds like it was though, it fits perfectly. Written by Jay Ungar.

I first heard this piece in Ken Burn's documentary series on the Civil War back in the 80's. Do beautiful and haunting.
When I found the sheet music for it decades ago I was so happy. The violin accompanying takes it to another level. Thank you so much.
