Well, these guys are fairly new, and DEG have been there since 1997, so I would probably place my bets on Silent Difference being influenced by Dir En Grey.
It makes sense that you put it like that, but when the vocalist does the high scream that Kyo does, he executes it better, there's just something about it.
Yeah, it does sound better, but I can't help feeling that his vocal technique isn't going to help him in the long run. That being said, it still sounds awesome.
