I totally concur. Almost everyone agrees that Monica and Chandler were the best couple, since they actually kept them together longer for a season, and talked through their issues, unlike Ross and Rachel.

What started out to be a one-time affair turned into the saving grace for the series. The producers decided to make Chandler and Monica a couple due to the audience’s reaction. At that point, fans grew tired of the whole Ross and Rachel “we were on a break” segment so the producers decided to make changes and the Monica and Chandler love story was the best thing they could’ve done. It was Friends at its peak!
Monica and Chandler were a couple that nobody would have expected, but once they got together, they turned out to be the best pairing, even better than Ross and Rachel. According to Matthew Perry, the audience went WILD when Monica appeared from under Chandler's bed covers.
