that said, I've played a 60s hammond b3 and even with my super low level keys skills it DOES make gorgeous sounds.
If I can help it one day, sooner than later, I'll own a rotary speaker cab for my guitar.

What a delicious preformance. It's like warm sunshine for the ears. Man, that organ has a soul, tight drumming and decadent guitar work. Simply stunning.

Guys, you NEED to release some live performance like this...you sound so tight and free, so into it, its so much better than the stuff on the studio, as good as it is..... I don´t give a damn if its technically less perfect or slightly off here and there, which it isn´t , you guys doing your thing live and loving it is sooo much groovier.... I just can´t get enough of your KEXP videos, love them all, my "go to" feel good music for a while now.. Keep on keeping us getting stoked on your beautiful musicmanship !

the group came to be because of delvon's wife who also manages him. and jimmy james, the guitarist, plays in the true loves and in delvon's trio independently i guess, neither is his own band as far as i know. all i know he is a hell of a guitar player
Jimmy James & our drummer David Mcgraw are the founders of the True Loves. I'm am not a member of that band but I have done some work with them in the past.

This is how Ray Manzarek played the bass lines for The Doors in concert. Studio albums had a session bassist, but apart from that Ray did it all, two hands on the keys, two feet on the pedals. These are the traits of a great jazz organist playing in a rock/blues/R&B genre. If you want to see how it's properly done, search for Jimmy Smith jazz albums in UA-cam who is the master of this domain.
can somebody help me? its a stupid question i know, but does Devron plays the bass notes with his left hand or his feets? i constantly seeing him playing with left hand, but stepping on the footpedals too. does he plays the same bass melody with left hand and his feet simulteanously just an octave below, or whats happening here?
he uses both. UNderstanding a little bit of foot bass playing, he is using the bass pedal just for some notes and for adding rythm patterns
