The sound from this internet feed is just about as good as i can get from a good LP on either of my turntables. I can CRANK it with no distortion. Somebody knows what they are doing here!! And not to mention I love what these 3 - guys do!!

Just wanna' point out one thing: Drum Micing! THIS is a good drummer, a good mic, a good room and obviously someone making a hell of mix! I mean look at it (or more Listen to it - especially the DAMN SNARE!!!) If I'm counting correctly this is one Large Dia. over head, one kick mic and one condenser aimed towards snare/hi-hat. And it sounds so killer! Love this! This is how sound should be!
The Upstream Music Fest they played, KEXP Sessions are such a great watch...Viewed more by me than I can count.. Close But No Cigar should be Album of the Year...Get's me groovin every time....Great Stuff anytime...Feel like boss walking down the street and rockin it thru headphones...Thanks...Please come to the Midwest soon...Give me a month or 2 to promote and we will fill whatever venue u play......Your music is needed in this world...
Guitarists, myself included, need to be more like Jimmy James. Sometimes overthinking makes you lose the essence of music and grooving. Really thrilled to add him to my list of contemporary influences.

@@josh0g It's not ONLY foot bass. It's a complex combo of left hand and foot. The pedals are an octave lower, but the fancy articulation is done by the LH.
So f...tight like 70's psychedelic funk -jazz fusion improvisational sounds , its got shades of all sorts , I know just what other commentators mean foot tapping wild dancing music , keep it up .

Seriously. Dude isn't just in the pocket, he is the pocket.
The drummer plays so simple most of the time, but he's absolutely killer. proves, that often times less is more.
I liked the sound on the drums more on the kexp performance but this is still good.
and no bass in sight....cool.
