That's not what she said. She was pointing out that they are more likely to be incarcerated, more likely to not get medical care and more likely to die of something preventable. She also said to release them "to the maximum extent possible." That would not be someone in prison for murder, rape, violent crimes. That would be drug possessions, maybe stealing a car (but not carjacking), fraud, etc. Those things weren't necessarily an immediate danger to society. What She wrote was not a reason to exclude her from serving as a judge. I argue this, Democrats are not looking for people of integrity to uphold the law and honor the power of positions of power.

She was REALLY hoping Senator Kennedy didn't ask about her "pardon all people of color" stance.
That's not what she said. She was pointing out that they are more likely to be incarcerated, more likely to not get medical care and more likely to die of something preventable. She also said to release them "to the maximum extent possible." That would not be someone in prison for murder, rape, violent crimes. That would be drug possessions, maybe stealing a car (but not carjacking), fraud, etc. Those things weren't necessarily an immediate danger to society. They're awful, but house arrest, ankle monitoring, etc. could be used until it was safe to return them to prison. But the prison system DOES need a complete overhaul. JS

It’s not helpful to let criminals out when they have no reason to change. The more you let out the more crimes. All crimes have gone up so far, I believe it’s a 100-300% even higher in some states. There is no discouragement to commit crime without punishment. The reason black American males commit 45% of all murders, is not because of skin color. It’s because those in the projects. Before the projects began black Americans were the leading group in success in America. I grew up in a brand new neighborhood, middle class, we had black families, Mexican, Jewish, white all on one block. Race or religion never came up. Everyone was friends, we went to school together & supported each other. That was in the 60’s & 70’s. Because the projects are reperations for slavery, they get everything free they don’t have to work. Their schools let the children do whatever they want. That’s why they don’t read, or do math. Talk to former teachers from the projects, they left because they weren’t allowed to hold the children accountable for behavior or homework. Nothing. Ask yourself why? Because black leaders like Jesse Jackson & many politicians make a lot of money so they want to keep black people from growing & succeeding. Depressed people lose hope. And are easily manipulated. That is what they are now trying to do to the entire country. We have school boards teaching sex, lies and aren’t teaching reading & writing, no cursive is allowed. Because these skills are considered white, which makes zero sense. But they cry racism and everyone goes okay. Don’t want to be racist. So now Jonny, Derek, Marcus, Jamal, Edward, can’t read or write. If you can’t read or if you can’t read cursive you won’t be able to discern your rights. All historical documents are in cursive. With old English. They want a nation of people who can’t fight them back. Hence another reason for all the illegals who are also receiving everything for free and don’t know how to work in a free republic. Those are voters to support putting America into socialism/communism. You take out America and the rest of the world falls like dominoes.
