they could add an accessory so you could play ds game ports on the switch while it's sideways. The switch 2 will use "4k" in the same way a pc would use DLSS at "4k" using 1080p as a base. With 1080p as a base resolution it will look alright on a 4k screen, when it is in handheld mode it will likely use it's 1080p screen running it at 1080p and run it with upscaling to 1080p at the developers discretion. Moore's law is dead has Nvidia contacts that have told him what's what as far as what they know, he says it will be around a series s but with a weaker CPU. Apparently it will be using less or about the same power in handheld mode than the switch but offer significantly better performance. One more thing, I wouldn't put it past Nintendo to use the new recompile project on Git Hub to port N64 games rapidly to switch, the developers using it say it only takes about 15 hours of coding to get a game working pretty much perfectly and after that you can modify it like a pc game and upgrade assets. A big company like them could probably churn out multiple "Remakes" in short order that look great and handle the same.
Zelda 2 deserves it more than any other game on that list. It deserves to have the "black sheep" moniker removed from it by introducing a proper remake that fixes the quirks and issues of the original.
full-on remakes of the N64 games would be nice, but I’d want them to be extensive, ground-up remakes like the _Final Fantasy VII_ remakes, just without changing the story. that said, I’m actually happy with the versions available on NSO and Wuu Virtual Console, so I’d hope they’d prioritize the games that aren’t currently available on Switch in any form. …or 2D remakes, like _A Link to the Past,_ the _Oracle Games,_ and _Minish Cap…_ but just HD pixel art would be fine, I don’t need them to get the _Link’s Awakening_ treatment. …and lastly, remember that version of the original game they made in-house for testing our concepts for _Breath of the Wild_ ? why not remake the original _The Legend of Zelda_ in a style like that? it would still just use very simplistic visuals, but what an elaborate physics system like the modern games… so open-air, but in 2D 👌
Final Fantasy 7 Style remakes would imply making the games more like the modern games in the series. Open World/BotW style OoT would absolutely ruin OoT. Imagine OoT with breakable weapons or shrines? No thanks.
The Switch 2 will definitely launch with a remastered 3d Zelda title. Breath of the wild and twilight princess gave the switch and wii a strong start and their biggest console failure ever, the wii u, was the only console in recent years which didn't launch with a Zelda title or at least have a trailer for one. They won't make that mistake again and although we're still a fair few years away from another original 3d Zelda title, a remaster of an older one is the next best thing.
Before the direct :People begging for the HD remasters of TP and WW on Switch After direct : the same people complaining that Nintendo is selling old games at 60 bucks .
You are already immediately lost me at a Zelda 1 or 2 remake not likely because the original versions already being on Switch. Okay! Did either the Link's Awakening Remake on Switch or Link's Awakening DX on Switch NSO just simply, I don't know, NOT happen? Or were one of those two really just a fever dream? Because I honestly thought there were TWO versions of Link's Awakening on Nintendo Switch! I guess was just hallucinating when I thought I saw Link's Awakening DX for NSO. Because I literally have Link's Awakening remake. I've played it! I've beaten it! And it's all over the internet! It exists. So I guess, Link's Awakening DX on NSO obviously has to be the one that didn't happen then...by your logic. And what about Twilight Princess HD on Wii U? Was that not real either because you can already play the original on Wii U? I guess, since you're the genius here, I guess so. What about the Wii U e-shop releases of Wii games like SS and Metroid Prime Trilogy? I guess those didn't happen. We also have multiple versions of the first few Super Mario Bros. games. First, individually on NES NSO. Secondly, bundled in Super Mario All Stars on SNES NSO. And there's Super Mario Advanced games. Which one actually happened? I'm assuming the NES ones right? Or maybe I'm just misremembering All Stars being a collection Super Mario Advanced being remixes of the old games, but actually a SNES version of the real SMB 2 as Lost Levels.and four completely original games. So I guess we only have SMB 1, 2 (the doki doki panic clone one), and 3 on NES NSO. Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, and Lost Levels on SNES NSO. And four completing new original Mario games on GBA NSO. Or the Super Mario Advanced series didn't actually come to NSO. And neither did All Stars. Needless to say, stating that a remake of a game is unlikely solely because it's original is already on the system is a dumb take. Especially, when said original has already been there for years. It's not like how they just came out with Oracle games on NSO. I get that it's too early for Oracle game remakes since they just released the original games on the system. That makes sense. But Zelda 1 and 2 have been on the system (only available through NSO, which requires internet to use) since 2018! That's SIX years! Why would it be so unrealistic to have a more widely accessible option to play one of those games on the same system? Especially if the new version is provides a whole new experience differing from the original. The Link's Awakening remake doesn't play exactly like DX. It also has new stuff that aren't in the older versions like the Chamber Dungeon. Also, did I mention that NSO requires internet? What if someone's internet is down temporarily or their playing their Switch on the go in the car, but there's no Wi-Fi or hotspot? Then Zelda 1 and 2 wouldn't be available to them because NSO requires internet. I mean, it's literally in the name! Having remake of Zelda 1 would solve that problem. Also, the Switch life-span is coming to an end. That said, by the time a Zelda 1 remake releases, we'll already be close to when the new system launches or even has already launched anyways. It would be a whole new generation of the Switch era at least or even a whole new era overall. So even if NSO is still a thing carried over to the new system, it'd still be good time to release a Zelda 1 remake. I mean we literally not only have had the first Metroid game on GBA through the NES Classics Series, but we also have had the same game playable through the remake of the same game on the same system. And both of these were available on 3DS (I think) and Wii U (definitely). And finally, have you seen Lloyd Empty's take on a Zelda 1 remake? The experience of the game is so much than the original game! It's almost like a whole new game! And it did does remain faithful to the original in design, but with some new stuff to make the game feel more bigger and expansive like how a modern 2D Zelda game would be. Zelda 1 remake is actually be way more likely than you think because it'd be different in terms of experience from the original as it wouldn't be exactly like the original. Again, the Link's Awakening remake from 2019 is a pretty good example. While games like Zero Mission and Samus Returns are even better examples as they both provided fresh new experiences within the same game worlds of the originals they're based on. A Link Between Worlds can also be seen as an alright example too, even though that was actually a sequel, not a remake. And that's why a lot of people felt turned off by it was because it was basically like a remake trying to be a sequel and even marketed as one. It was still a good game in it's own right. But had to stayed a remake like it was planned to be prior, it might've been more successful. However, I'm more of the opinion that maybe that game should've been more original. But I do believe that Zelda 1 remake is a good idea. Especially seeing as how it can really help truly revive 2D Zelda as a whole by proving to both fans and even Nintendo that there is still so much more potential for 2D Zelda.
triforce heroes is probably the WORST nintendo developed zelda game. its actually bad and i don't know why they would even humor the idea of releasing it. it is not at all worth their time

Especially seeing as how it can really help truly revive 2D Zelda as a whole by proving to both fans and even Nintendo that there is still so much more potential for 2D Zelda.
triforce heroes is probably the WORST nintendo developed zelda game. its actually bad and i don't know why they would even humor the idea of releasing it. it is not at all worth their time
It was aimed to multiplayer dude. Not a main zelda
so
