The actress that plays the spy was part of the cast from the previous Ultraman show, Ultraman Blazar. She gives seminaries on action coreographies. And by the way, one of the muscle-heads that appeared before on BoonBoomger was on the same Ultraman show too.

Japanese media very very seldomly does kissing, even more so romantic ones, even even more so in child friendly media. There's a bunch of couples in Sentai that could have used it, but actually don't, sadly :/ The fun fact about the villain of this episode being named "Steer" is that it makes her effectively have the same name as Taiya. Because "Hando" is for Hand/Handling Wheel, which is just another way of saying Steering Wheel. And that alone has a lot of implications of the possible role she had in Chasshiro's life, and the kind of person she probably is, without having to go through crazy lenghts to build her up. All around a great episode, I'm just starting to get concerned with our time with this show. We have like 12ish episodes to go, and we still haven't done anything at all with the ISA, Wyld, or the BBG. That's a lot that is going to need to happen in a short amount of time.

Anyways, I loved this episode soo much and I was so excited to see your reaction as a fellow tiremeter lover! How will the production team visualize same-sex friendship? It is up to the viewer to decide whether or not they find the production to be suggestive. The only thing I can say is that this is a children's program. This leaves room for us adults to enjoy things from a different perspective than children.
