We are an ADVENTUROUS family of 6 who lost our son to SIDS in 2014. Our biggest regret was not having family videos of him when he was here and is why we started doing daily vlogs!
Thomas is a 2X North American Champion in his kick-boxing career and Ashley loves to share her creativity through DIY's and other budget friendly projects.
Together we have 6 year old Identical twins- Simon & Cohen.
Our son Miloh was born 12/12/13 and passed away 5/20/14.
We were blessed with our Rainbow baby (and 4th son) Ezrah this year on 03/02/17 and we have loved sharing our every day journey with our followers and are looking forward to where this journey takes us!

What about "Offer Up" & "Letgo" they have TONS of furniture, free stuff and anything else you could possibly think of.
If you sew you can save even more on throw pillows. You can get crappy throw pillows from the thrift store and then at Joanne's you can use a bunch of coupons for fabric.
One day I was going to Joann fabrics and decided to drive around the back of the building and what did I see????!!!!!! Lots of gigantic rugs in a Ballard Design outlet dumpster, so I went dumpster diving and got 2 $400 rugs for free. So my friend and I went back later that night and grabbed a bunch more out of the dumpster- we sold them and made some money.
I love how you saved so much money on your living room and you would never know it. Wealthy people could take a lesson. Plus this helps the planet- recycle, reduce & reuse!

Hi Ashley, this video is my super number one most favorite of your videos. When you get partially through it when you're ready to sign off and then it keeps skipping and starts over again halfway through. Not sure if you're aware of it or not and then it gets cut off. You did with this video what I want to do with my entire house! I started with my screened in back porch. Thrifted a sage green glass top table with 4 chairs, and two white rocking chairs. A work in progress, hopefully will be finished by the end of May. Thanks for the inspiration!
Great idea, love your decor, with anything that you get from thrift stores, yard sales etc... always spray, clean and sanitized especially furniture you don't want your dream find to turn out to be a nightmare 😱

There are times when I am thrifting something in particular. I just keep looking and eventually I will find just what I want. You just have to keep looking every time. Thrifting is the best. All my mason jars come from goodwill for 99 cents. 3 packs of chalkboard labels + chalk felt pens from goodwill also! All my mirrors, pillows, breadboards, bakeware, pictures. Just found 3 metal mesh file boxes today. Put in kitchen undersink. Clipped together w binder clips. Pladtic bags, extra foil, wax paper, parchment, and paper bags. $1.99 ea. Love

I’m am having so much anxiety right now. I’m a traditional gal with traditional style. Well it was time for new furniture so my husband and I go and order a blue grey contemporary couch. I did not sleep a wink. The next day I was like I’ve got to cancel the order and find something else. But my husband really liked it. So I’m trying to embrace the new style and marry it with my existing traditional style. I ordered a gold floor lamp to go beside the chaise lounge. Looking for a rug. But I hesitated because I’ve already made a mistake with the couch. I love the couch in magazines and in other homes. So hoping I can pull it off. Your living room is beautiful. I hope I will do a good job. Decorating is hard. Especially when you step out of your comfort zone. Leslye
Cabin Life at Eden Springs honestly eclectic style is all in. Any room should incorporate 3 separate styles. Modern, texture vintage etc. u can’t make a mistake! It’s a) just paint or returnable. Lol. No more matching furniture or furnishings. Check out hgtv or this youtubers videos. They’re both great!
Cabin Life at Eden Springs blue and gold rug can anchor the space. Use arrange brass or gold hardware or picture frames etc. white tables will help feature the sofa and blend in without competing. You’ll do great! No fear. 😀

A good tip for fluffy pillows is to buy a size up in the insert. So if you have a 22inch pillowcase, use a 24inch insert and stuff it in there. Works perfectly!

No way I would've bought those sofas...but OMG I would now!!! My house flooded, along with thousands of others, in 2016 and I had to trash nearly all of my furniture. I thought of dressing up the sofa FEMA allowed me to have, but learned of a family who was burned out and had no furniture, so I gave the sofa to them. I have been wanting a look similar to this in my living room, but have yet to buy a sofa because what I've wanted has been over my budget. However, I have visited yard sales and thrift stores and saw finds, similar to what you beautified, and walked right past - never thinking of buying slip covers. Thanks so much for sharing this. I am definitely going garage saling and thrifting this weekend! And I will try my best to be patient😊.
