Any woman who is that honest about her stretch marks and her body issues has definitely earned my respect! Rock on pretty lady! (And ladies, please don't make assumptions about what men find attractive or not. Whatever you are ashamed of, believe me, there are men out there who either are kinda attracted to it or it doesn't bother them one little bit. I think MOST men could care less about stretch marks.)
Janie you did an amazing job explaining your journey. Also the biggest hurdle that needed to be talked about is the mental health part. Some Men and Women do body altering surgery when there not right mentally with there body or other things. You can really see the big difference in your photos. You were beautiful even before the tummy tuck, but you did it cause you wanted to after all that hard work losing weight when you younger. My ex brother in law had one done too. Had drain tubes coming out snd it was a painful procedure but if you keep on your pain relief regimen it got better.
Very Proud of You for having the courage to film your journey, and your husbands support. Being a Husband and a father to 6 grown daughter's, as well as working in the medical field, I am acutely aware of the transformation of childbirth and its after effects. Two of my girls are like human pez dispensers and show no signs of being pregnant and the others are typical. My wife had a similar procedure and it really helped her as well.
I started watching your channel because I was researching my tummy tuck that was approaching. I did it last April and it was the BEST thing I could have ever done!!! ❤ You look amazing!
Thank u for sharing ur journey.im 13 weeks post op from a tummy tuck and muscle repair.i came across ur channel when I was in the first week of recovery and been following u every since.ur updates have helped me massively and this one has even more.im pretty insecure about myself and have been for years.ive not had the weightloss journey like urself but after 6 babies, including a twin pregnancy and my youngest having my first c section my stomach was in bits.i have always worked out pretty much daily and like u said no matter how much pilates i did the lose skin never shifted so for me this was one of the best things ive done for myself.thank u again for ur honesty and sharing something that's really personal.xx
I had my mommy makeover 2 months ago and your blogs help me so much to be as prepared as one can be for the recovery process. Thank you so much for sharing your experience!!! You look amazing!!
Thanks for sharing- I’m TT with ab repair and 360 lipo is Feb 13th. I’m scared and excited- I just got off a holiday , new years cruise and I’ve actually gained 9 pounds in 2 weeks 😬😬. Hoping it won’t mess things up 🤷🏼♀️ unless that’s more fat to be sucked out. my biggest worry besides the pain bc I’m a 45yro baby 😂 ( Jan 2nd 🎉) is what to keep on my scar - I’ve heard ppl keep paper tape on it for a week at a time until 6 wks then creams and some just use creams right away and I’m thinking - how do you want anything touching or rubbing on your cut like a binder or a super tight FAJAS 😬. Also what did you find to be the best in a FAJAS style or compression 💕💕
Good for you! You look great! And the most important thing, you were mentally, psychologically right for it. 😊 EXCELLENT video. 😊❤❤ By the way, you are a very beautiful person, inside as well as out, congratulations on your successful weight loss journey and surgery outcome! ❤❤❤
The truth is that you were gorgeous before your surgery. Some of us men don't worry that much about extra stomach or thick legs, I love women with some meat on their bones!! Anyways, your surgery was well done, YOU WERE BEAUTIFUL BEFORE, AND YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL NOW. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND REMEMBER YOU WILL ALWAYS BE BEAUTIFUL NO MATTER WHAT.
What an amazingly honest video.. thank you. Congratulations and I’m glad you feel better about yourself. I know a few guys (myself included) that lost a lot of weight and have considered it. I think it’s like anything else, the need to change has to exceed the desire to stay the same. I think a lot of married guys see that price tag and go… naaah (I can only speak for myself and the people I know). It’s like you said, it’s not as much a matter of vanity as a recognition of an accomplishment. BTW… always suspected you were a Jersey girl if not a Long Islander.
Wow you look amazing, Did your torso get shorter? Thank you for discussing your recovering, and change in your routines. It was very helpful. I cant take that much time away from my family right now. I also , dont think I will be able to handle the pain and scars. I think i may just do lipo first and decide from there.
Wow thats crazy. I just thought you were this perfect being... =-). Sorry you had to go through this but glad you're happy now. Keep up the good work on those abs...
Hi, Janie..., "Congraulations ! !" So proud of you... Amazing transformation... Excellent video and very informative, and "Thank you" for sharing the video ! ! * "Janie"..., is bright, intelligent, and attractive ! ! Excellent video... "Semper Fi" Mike in Montana :)
Doesn't a tummy tuck cone with a high risk of blood clots which can cause strikes and or death? Also you said you were losing lots of weight and only eating 1,400 calories which wasn't good. I've never eaten over 1200 calories and I'm 5ft 5 1/2, and it's not because I'm dieting, just can't eat more than this. So are you saying you can't eat this amount and have any muscle tone or be healthy?
I would have thought "what the hell you're to young to need a tummy tuck". When I saw the before and after pictures I get it. I still think you're GORGEOUS before and after, but this a decision that hopefully you made on your own. (not Dave)
Yeah, sometime it takes like more than 12 months because some of the nerves needs to regenerate completely and it takes 12 months for 90% of the nerves to regenerate.
Omg i saw the Blue two piece and the next thig I was in the emergency room. The ER doctor said i had fainted and my coworker called medical for me. I was transported to the Emergency room at the local hospital. I signed back on to write this but paused the video at the beginning so i would not pass out again. Janie takes my breath away.

Good for you, my wife has had one and never regretted it, she loves the way she looks
Everything you said is right on! Especially about making sure you’re in a good place before getting surgery and keeping your expectations realistic.

Going in 8 days! Excited and nervous! I hope my results are as good as yours
I'd love a video on your weight loss journey. Like what you did, etc. I look at you, and I cant ever imagine you were overweight!
Normally the ones who have a big chest tend to be you know a little bit heavier on the way it’s not a bad thing, but you just can tell.
You’re beautiful and I’m glad you did it for you and not to please someone else. 😉
Thanks so much for sharing! Loved this video, especially your experience with caring for your toddler. I’ve been wondering about that.
Hey Janie, thank you for this video. It really helped me on my recovery post surgery.
You are beautiful and I think you are an amazing couple . Bless you both
Scar looks good. Have you considered micro-needling over the scar or camouflage tattoo?

You were beautiful before . You are beautiful after , but maybe it gave you more self confidence and as long as you are happy ,that's what matters .
Congratulations. You look fantastic!

You are a beautiful woman.
I’m 7 1/2 months post op and my abdomen still feels like wood! When did yours start feeling better?
Yeah, sometime it takes like more than 12 months because some of the nerves needs to regenerate completely and it takes 12 months for 90% of the nerves to regenerate.
