The way reptiles get shipped long distance just blows my mind. Just tie em up in a pillowcase, pop it in a stryofoam cooler, put that in a box and they're off! 😂😂😂
Of all the animals that ship internationally on a somewhat regular basis, snakes are the only one I can think of that are really designed for it. Think days without food, reasonably happy to curl up and sleep for most of it, and quite happy to be ignored while travelling. Like, I wish I traveled that well.
I don't even like the Candy Mountain unicorns, but I immediately yelled at my TV "Ed! It was his kidneys, not the spleen!" 🤣 Thank you for showing us all the new "babies" in this video 🙂

Definitely hard to give up pets in rescue -which is how i ended up with 10 cats. My dream of becoming the crazy cat lady of the neighborhood has finally been achieved
I just talked to a random person in Walmart yesterday who was Black Friday shopping with a ferret in a harness on a leash. They have a ferret rescue and have 20 ferrets in their home. So I can see proof of that with them too. We talked for like 20 minutes.
My two bottle fed feral kitties agree. The only problem is that one of the cats has made it quite clear that if I bring home any more cats, she will kill them. She likes being the queen of the castle.
@@YochevedDesigns I have one of those too 😆 she has her own room. She will quite literally rip the hair out of any cat that goes near her. But she loves my dogs. Go figure lol bottle babies are the best. I have a litter of 4 white and orange kittens at the moment-2 weeks old. Although the round the clock feedings are a pain in the butt
I love watching you opening your boxes. It is like Christmas every day for you and your mind is getting excited thinking about how you are going to breed them.
Aww Aziraphale and Crowley are adorable. As everyone else had said, those are the 2 main characters from Good Omens. Great book and show! 10/10 reccomend reading or watching it! Also, love how wrinkly Moby is. Scaleless corn snakes are strangely cute.
I love our wild snakes that live under our porch. They eat like little piggies because the light above the porch attracts lots of bugs. We do watch carefully going out the door to not step on them as they sun themselves. We live in a protected area that has Mississauga rattlers, so we watch for those dudes, too.
Candy Mountain Charlie! Magical Leo Pluredon! I'm a new subscriber watching you two nerd out over snakes. 😍 I had a corn snake when I was a 5 year old in early 1980's.
Looks like Ed and Emily need to watch Good Omens if they haven’t yet. Good lord there are so many beautiful new hognoses! Next year’s breeding plans video is gonna be 🔥🔥.
It’s so cool watching the older videos with snakes that we’re so familiar with now, it’s fun seeing their first appearance compared to the personalities we’ve come to know! 💜
Charlie the Unicorn is one of the best pieces of art ever created and the ring ring... Hello? conversation is and will allways be my ringtone // beautiful snakes btw! :D

Okay. Those hoggies were criminally cute! So robust and healthy with such sweet faces! I suck at remembering names but the patterns I remember being so striking were Voorhies & his red albino and ugh, what was the name of the RGB Toffee Belly or whatever that pattern is? GOSH! That was a gorgeous snake. Charlie the ball python was absolutely lovely! OH! And SOL! I remember his name because his name is Spanish for sun which makes since for his beautiful yellow self. OM LORDY will the 2024 babies be gorgeous AND DIVERSE! Here’s to needing another baby rack & filling all 3 incubators!
Hogs are THE snake species i fell in love with, their faces are so adorable and they have a nice but not overwhelming palette Somday i hope to own one, maybe not as a starter snake (possibly getting a milksnake or a corn snake as a first) but god this video made me so happy

Emily, There's no way I can pick a favorite. They're all gorgeous! Much love and respect to you and Ed for all you do to inform and educate people about snakes.
For anyone curious, anerythristic is a lack of red pigment (erythrin) and axanthic is a lack of yellow pigment (xanthin). They are most definitely different traits. Many snakes contain both red and yellow pigment, but I have yet to hear of a snake that is both axanthic and anerythristic at once. For example, common boas (Boa imperator) can be albino and anerythristic. But a snow, like my T+ snow, will still be yellow instead of white.
So much respect for y'all doing rescue. I would be the same, wanting to keep every animal. 😢 I'm also just happy to see how healthy all these surrenders were, plus the long handwritten notes. Their previous owners clearly cared about them deeply. I would be crushed if I had to give up my pets, so my heart goes out to them. But at least they were able to surrender to you guys, where they knew they would be well cared for.

I feel so much for the ppl who had to make the tough decision to give their pets to someone else. They're going to a great place, but def not easy. And those hoggies! And the snow! Some v expensive and v well loved pets, and I'm glad they'll join the family here 💜
I used to watch this channel years ago and seemed to have lost it, so happy I came across it today and see it’s still active!
LOVING all these names...vorhees...carrie....aziraphael....crawley.....BRILLIANT
Candy mountain!!! its the land of sweets & joy...& joyness 🤣 I'm around the same age as y'all so I got the reference immediately lol Those hoggies are beautiful!!!
You can tell how well those snakes were cared for! They look huge!
I don't even like the Candy Mountain unicorns, but I immediately yelled at my TV "Ed! It was his kidneys, not the spleen!" 🤣 Thank you for showing us all the new "babies" in this video 🙂
True. In their defense, spleen is debatably the more fun organ name to say. Up there next to squeedily spooch.
I was literally thinking it was the kidney and not the spleen 🤣
Spleen sounds funnier I think 😂 especially the way Emily said it
Its a magical Liopleurodon Charlie! I just introduced my 7 and 5 yr old boys, they laughed so hard!
The reds on Voorhees (whose name is from Friday the 13th, by the way) are gorgeous, but holy crap, that arctic coloration on Journey is absolutely breathtaking. I really look forward to seeing what kinds of new and amazing morphs these snakes' babies will have!
Also: The magical leopleurodon has spoken! It has told us the way!
I *almost* named my newest hoggy Voorhees, but ended up going with Norman Bates. Either way, he is living up to his name. Very sassy boy.
Woooo! Hognoses! I love hognoses, they’re faces are so cute and their noses look cute.
"It has spoken! It has told us the way!"
"It didn't say anything!"
At first I was surprised you thought your audience was too young to remember Charlie the unicorn, and then I remembered exactly how long ago it came out... 😅
Anyways, my condolences to Courtney for having to give up her lovely babies. They're all beautiful snakes (with excellent names - clearly Courtney has good taste in media). I'm glad you guys are able to give them a good home
Omg she named them Crowley and aziraphale- they're characters from good omens that's so cute
22:14 I've seen Charlie The Unicorn and the line was "AH they took my freaking kidney!" XD
I am legit in tears over the owners having to surrender their babies. My partner was trying to go to talk me into adopting a Boa and while I would love to, I knew I would fall in love and not be able to provide at the moment so I could not, would not. I will when I am able to financially provide for a new baby. ❤❤❤
Those are some gorgeous snakes ♥ Love the names they have :)
"Alright, guys, you do know that there is no actual Candy Mountain, right?" "Shun the non-believer!"
LOl, I loved that series.
As a gen alpha with parents who showed we and my brother the first candy mountain/charlie skit, i actualluly know what it is lol.
All of those snakes were really pretty
Shun the non-believer! Shunnnn!
Also man if I was able to take a snake right now, I think I fell in love with Charlie instantly 😂
I'm loving Moby 😮 he is so gorgeous!! And I love the ball python y'all first unboxed! Petition to keep Charles 😂😂

“It’s a magical leopluridon!” Also they’re all so cute!
It's a leoplurodon! A magical leoplurodon, Charlie!
@@Kiertiana 20 ferretssssss that's amazing. I love those little critters. They are absolutely neurotic 😆
Adoption, foster fail, or cat distribution system?
Either way I know someone who also yearns for that
I love watching you opening your boxes.
You know what’s funny? I touched the top of my screen and it turns out I got the notification at the same time. I was suprised
Oh my gosh, I just found out your zoo is only a half hour away. I'm so excited I want to bring my nieces and nephews! 🥳
"Grab the magic amulet, Charlie!" Loved those videos.😂
I love our wild snakes that live under our porch. They eat like little piggies because the light above the porch attracts lots of bugs. We do watch carefully going out the door to not step on them as they sun themselves. We live in a protected area that has Mississauga rattlers, so we watch for those dudes, too.
Candy Mountain Charlie! Magical Leo Pluredon!
I'm a new subscriber watching you two nerd out over snakes. 😍
I had a corn snake when I was a 5 year old in early 1980's.
You should really keep Charlie! He’s so calm and his coloring is amazing!
Looks like Ed and Emily need to watch Good Omens if they haven’t yet. Good lord there are so many beautiful new hognoses! Next year’s breeding plans video is gonna be 🔥🔥.
First they need to read the book, *then* watch the show.
It’s so cool watching the older videos with snakes that we’re so familiar with now, it’s fun seeing their first appearance compared to the personalities we’ve come to know! 💜
It's just over this bridge Charlie.
The magical bridge of hope and wonder.
Charlie the Unicorn is one of the best pieces of art ever created and the ring ring... Hello? conversation is and will allways be my ringtone // beautiful snakes btw! :D
"IT'S A MAGICAL LIOPLEURODON!"
Also, I love how GORGEOUS Umbra/Poop Mama is! She's pretty and definitely my fav!
LMAO DO YALL HAVE A SNAKE NAMED SCROTUM?? THATS SO PERFECT FOR A SCALELESS 😂😂😂
I CANT BREATHE 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'M DIEING 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You're the banana king Charlie!!
These snakes are so wonderful! I was really hoping you'd keep the toffee pastel one, I think she would make beautiful babies. Please keep up the great work you do!!! 💕
All of the snakes are so beautiful,I can’t stop looking at them!
Oh my goodness Morgan and Courtney all these are obviously so well loved and cared for!!! I'm so sorry you couldn't keep them but thank you for sending them to Emily and Ed so we can all enjoy seeing them and welcoming them to our snake discovery family. There is no way I could choose a favourite amongst all these beauties!!! Xxx
And there is no way to know how many baby hognoses will be successfully bred (and maybe have a child or two from their clutch held back). Most of the hognoses she sent are currently in brumation too! Just wait until all of these adorable hognoses have babies...
This is pure happiness....a box of hognoses!!! Omg. ❤I love the blond albino and the red albino! That ball python is absolutely beautiful!🎉
"there's no time to explain, hold on to our tongues!" I was more of a llamas with hats type person but i still remember a few lines. also good omens is great, definitely worth a watch or read
That hognose collection is stunning, and I would have been heartbroken to have to give them up. There are some amazing morphs I can't recall seeing you guys have in the breeding pool, so I look forward to seeing these new additions.
Agreed
Hogs are THE snake species i fell in love with, their faces are so adorable and they have a nice but not overwhelming palette
Somday i hope to own one, maybe not as a starter snake (possibly getting a milksnake or a corn snake as a first) but god this video made me so happy
You guys got me into my snake addiction I love watching y’all ❤
Before I started watching y’all I was afraid of snakes and now when someone says “snake” I’m like “where where”.🙃 Btw. I love your videos and hope to meet you in person.
Same here! I actually started watching because of my fear of snakes, hoping that it would be like visual exposure therapy or something. And I still don't want to actually touch the snakes but I have decided that Emily is right, they are cute, especially the babies.
That's how I ended up here too! Hoggies are so cute, and it's hard to be scared of anything when Emily is right there squeeeing over how cute it is.@@phaedrapage4217
“It’s a magical Liopleurodon Chaaaaaarlie, it’s gonna guide our way to candy mountain!”
Loved all the references in this episode, also Aziraphale and Crowley are the main characters in the show good omens! It’s really good it has David Tennant and Michael Sheen :)
And Jason Vorhees is the hockey mask slasher of camp Crystal lake from Friday the 13th!!
Anyways, amazing episode and such fun hogs!!!
Happy Friday everyone ❤ I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I also just wanted to take the time to send my love to Ireland and her people, after the terrible things thats happening there at the moment, you're not alone! Lots of love from England ❤
Emily: Scro- I mean ... Wrinkles...
Me: What were you going to say Emily? 🙃
Hi. I am a fan of snake discovery and i really want to adopt one of hognose but i leave in the phillipines..... that's why im just contented by just watching your segment.thank you for educating us bout snake they are all wonderful and beautiful. God bless
I am unreasonably excited that two of em were named Aziraphale and Crawly/Crowley 😅
Sorry you had to give your babies Morgan and Courtney, your snakes are gorgeous and clearly loved and well cared for. You've done so well by them, and the Snake Discovery crew will continue that 100%.
Also, Choo Choo Shoe, Charlie!
It’s a magical leoplurodon Charlie!!! It’s gonna show us the way to candy mountain! (Love to see you guys on my fyp again! I’ve been following you guys since I was a kid and you guys were doing this in your house, keep up the good work ❤❤❤)
The hoggies are too cute ~
"it's just over this bridge, charlie. This magical bridge of hope and wonder!"
Choosing someone to rehome your pets to is a big decision. You trust that person with something very precious to you.
Those are beautiful snakes and I'm happy that Snake Discovery was able to take some of them in.
Also: Swim away fugu fish, swim away! 😂
'It's a Leoplerodon Charlie, a magical Leoplerodon, it's going to show us the way~!"
Love you guys' content, and I look forward to seeing all of those hognoses in the future!
Emily,
There's no way I can pick a favorite. They're all gorgeous!
Much love and respect to you and Ed for all you do to inform and educate people about snakes.
"Ah they took my kidney!" Man candy mountain is a throwback xD. such beautiful snakes! thank you for taking them in!
Thank you SO MUCH for explaining. I know nothing about snakes I just find these videos fascinating.
Michigander here! I also have an issue with packages getting stuck in Indianapolis.
Beautiful snakes!!!!
Magical journey Charlie 😂❤
A magical leopluridon! It's going to show us the waaaaaay
