Radiation and chemo are no joke. If you've ever watched a loved one go through cancer treatments, it really makes you think about what you'd choose for yourself if you ever had to make the decision. Many factors are involved, but in the end, everyone just tries to make the best choice in an impossible situation.
My good friend beat stage 4 cancer without chemo or radiation. He went to a REAL doctor, a holistic doctor. The doctor gave him intravenous vitamin injections and put him on a healthy food plan. Everyone has an immune system that defeats cancer IF you give your immune system the right fuel. In a few months his cancer was completely gone. The traditional cancer 'treatments' CAUSE cancer....and destroy your immune system. It comes down to 'who ya gonna trust...nature (God) or big pharma (Satanists)??
I met Bob Marley when he had cancer but no one knew. Eight months later he was gone. The world was in shock. His latest (last) album had just come out - Redemption song was on it. He looked good, quiet, intelligent. He let the young sales-driven lady with him do all the talking. Tall and slim like you guys. His dreads tucked up in a big knit cap. He walked past our restaurant in Coconut Grove, Florida (near Miami) to the travel agency (that’s where people bought plane tickets back then). I saw him on his walk back and we all went out excited to see him and gush our appreciation for his amazing music. My pushy boyfriend got seven autographs. Sadly, they’re lost now. He passed in the local hospital that I had done a catering job in. I normally don’t work in hospitals.😢
And your reaction to the taking pillow didn’t disappoint. I was actually in tears when Walt was describing surviving, marking time, and when he declared that “I wanna live in my own house. I wanna sleep in my own bed. “ you guys are in for anon experience for sure 😊
It caught us off guard BUT we understand the whole point of the talking pillow. It definitely hit us w/ him talking about what he wants & then Walt jr’s part as well. Just finished Ep 3 of S2 & can tell it’s gonna be crazy
Another good one guys! It's the closest thing I can get to watching it again for the first time. I predict that in the future after you have finished the series you will at some point watch other people react to it for the first time as well. Keep up the good work.
My man! Happy we can continue to do that for you! We appreciate your support more than you know. That’s what usually happens w/ the shows we have watched so far so it more than likely will happen🔥
the lung cancer aspect of the show is 100% realistic in every detail. I got diagnosed with lung cancer ~16years ago. One of the worst aspect of this experience was the total loss of control. The feeling of being (almost) unable to make any decisions or take any take actions to improve my situation. Therefore: When Walt decided to to the treatment ... in my eyes it was important for Walt that it was HIS personal decision in the end. (and not something he was "pillow talked" into)
Sorry to hear about your situation, we hope your journey through that has been positive as it could possibly be. We also agree that HIM deciding to do treatment was a huge step forward knowing he made the decision. It gives some power back to Walt in his life that shows he does have some control over his life in certain circumstances still. That pillow scene was great seeing Marie making the statement she did. She truly gave her honest unbiased opinion. Loving BB!
Loving your reactions. I love this show and watching you two get into it is so fun. Every episode gets better and better. I am glad to be along for your ride. Buckle up guys it’s a wild ride!!

We appreciate you & that💙 We are just going to continue to be us, post genuine, authentic content & the right people will find us when it’s time for them to😊 Currently on S2E3 (on Patreon) & it’s getting crazy🤯
The thing is though, why wouldn't walt accept the money? If his main goal was making sure his family didn't go into debt and was going to be okay if he passed away, he could haven taken ol boys help but his ego wouldn't allow him to do that. Essentially, the show would have ended there if he accepted his help.
I (Sheim) believe that he could have took that money and used whatever else as a cushion for his family when he passed. Walt is very reserved and a bit egotistical in a way which sways his character to make decisions like this. He means good but just doesn’t make the best decisions at times. Definitely enjoying this so far tho!
A pretty chick I knew years ago went thru horrible chemotherapy. For a long time. But it was barely over and her heart gave out. Fr. Got rid of the cancer but it destroyed heart. So she went thru all that crap to die just as soon. It was all for nothing. (Skylar makes me nuts in this ep)
the acting is consistently top-notch, seriously some of the best acting you'll see in any piece of media! i dont say that lightly haha the actors truly become one with their characters
16:00 Skyler's desperate and ignorant. You can't run an intervention like that because interventions only work against addicts who survive only by taking from the people they're close to. They don't normally rush out of the room because they're literally (and often hugely) in debt to everyone there, so they OWE the people talking at them. Walt don't owe anyone in that room shit, and that's why it was a disaster.
You guys are the only reactors who understand Walt not wanting to accept money from his old partner for his treatment. Skylar is such a blabbermouth. If she hadn’t said anything, the guy might have offered him a job on his own. Maybe not though.
We try our best to see both sides of every character/story to get a better experience from the show/movies we watch! It’s easy to say take the money but he wants to have control over something. Also on the flip side, Skylar just wants to help the best that she knows.
Never explained in the show but the creator later said that Walt left Gretchen because she came from a rich family so he felt he couldn't measure up, so he left the company too
If Elliot and Gretchen payed for Walt treatment his family would still be left with nothing once he dies, they ain’t gonna pay for Walt’s family to live they are just offering money for his treatment so Walter is probably thinking, ‘what happens if treatment doesn’t work, my family are still gonna struggle’
You are probably right with every episode getting better, wait until you get to Season 2 it goes like a rollercoaster after you will be introduced to one of the greatest characters in tv history. This episode is bit like when Ronald Wayne selling his share in Apple back in 1976. Great foreshadowing here for the future. Great to see you enjoying the show so much. Like them it just gets better and better. Great to see and hear the Erlenmeyer Flask mentioned, an obvious reference to one of the greatest X-Files episodes ever.
You can see that by the erratic decisions he is starting to make to stay inconsistent control of his life. You can’t blame him though he his feeling the entirety of what is happening and just wants to feel like he has some type of control over the way his life should be.
Walter let go of his dream when he found out he was going to be a father. When his son was born. He settled for a job with benefits. They all 3 agreed to some plan. I believe they paid Walter for his part of the business. The business became much more successful than thought.
Thanks for clarifying this because we definitely missed the details of what happened with their business partnership. It all makes sense tho, take a chance on a business that could potentially fail or secure a job that you know will pay you (especially in that situation).
Check your pride and let the pinch hitter take a shot or loose the game. I've seen the show a few times and I missed that line from Hank until now. Walt sold his share of the company for some quick cash before it went big.
The part where Jessie goes for a job interview Shows the reality of many young people who want to better themselves but aren’t given the opportunity😢. Even thought a College degree doesn’t even prepare you for the job market, it’s only a piece of paper that recruiters use to filter out quality of people depending on someone’s degree difficulty. It’s feels almost discriminatory, but even with a degree you still need someone to give you the opportunity. 🤦♀️ It’s nonsense.
That scene was definitely heart felt to watch bc you could see how much he wanted to change & get on a better path yet not being given an opportunity put him right back where he was tryna escape from. It’s crazy how the job market works, when they literally teach you the first couple weeks what to do anyway.
Don't be hard on Skylar. She's a type for sure, but ultimately she's just an unsuspecting, concerned wife that up until now lived a perfectly normal and honest life.
This episode just shows walts fatal flaw. He thinks he's better than everyone so he is too prideful to accept help. The show would have ended here if Walt wasn't truly a villain. This is the episode I think, where we get our first glimpse at who Walt really is. Sneering and scowling at his PREGNANT wife because she reached out for help for her husband and family to people who clearly loved Walt and wanted to help. Loving the reactions as always gentlemen! ❤ love from New Zealand
Appreciate the love!! And I (Sheim) can definitely agree Walt is very prideful. It would have made so much sense to just take that money and used all the money from cooking for that cushion he wanted for his family. But Walt is also really reserved so he doesn’t tell his business to a lot of people so I can see why he was a bit mad Skyler went and asked for help without make sure he was okay with other people knowing his situation. But I also think he is very jealous of his colleagues because he believes he is just as good or better than him but they are much more accomplished than he his.🤦🏾♂️ loving this show so far!!
This is cringe. This very episode shows how clearly Walt came to saying yes to Elliot but because of Skylar's need for control and his resentment towards that, he felt like the only choice he could make was to say No. She is a megalomaniac on par with Walt, and needs control and power more than anything and it shows in this episode.
The rich college friends that offer money to Walter betrayed and robbed him, especially in Walter's eyes. The three of them started that company together. Then Gretchen, who was with Walter at the time, and Elliot started seeing each other behind Walter's back and edged him out of the company. They got rich, in part, off of Walter's efforts and they have never acknowledged or compensated him for it until they offer him the money in this episode. Still a foolish move on Walter's part. He certainly deserves it and I personally would swallow my pride over selling drugs.
Thanks for more context into that and we said that also about just swallowing your pride and taking the money. But then again it’s like as someone he was f’ed over by two people, I really don’t want anything to do with you and I especially don’t want you money because it’s not a genuine transaction.

Jesse should have at least let Badger have the messed up batches for free he can smoke it or do whatever he wants with it I mean he's going to throw it away anyways Badger did go through the trouble to get him the pseudo
Yeahh Jesse could have just done that, he could have possibly made just as much money selling those batches with it coming from the “same” supplier as people would have heard on the streets. I (Sheim) feel like he created an unnecessary problem and burned a bridge for no reason.
@@DaKidsReact yeah I mean I get what he's trying to do he's trying to be Mr perfection like Walter but he doesn't have to throw it away when his friend brought him all that pseudo I get badger's frustration but they make up later anyways

People always wonder why people are anti skyler, I like her but I must say her take during pillow talk almost made me hate her!! Very controlling and everything has to be on her terms
I think yall are the first reactors I've seen who understood that he didn't change his mind on chemo. He made his own choice once no one was pressuring him anymore. Damn good yall

People always wonder why people are anti skyler, I like her but I must say her take during pillow talk almost made me hate her!! Very controlling and everything has to be on her terms
Talking pillow has to be the whitest thing ever.
🤣🤣 we liked that scene
Game of thrones is waay below brb
Skyler really is the worse and this is just the beginning
Everyone keeps saying this… we will have to see for ourselves😬
I think yall are the first reactors I've seen who understood that he didn't change his mind on chemo. He made his own choice once no one was pressuring him anymore. Damn good yall
We appreciate you💙
9:03 walt is ready to die a real man. Doing everything in his power. Hes not ready to be in chemo, and die anyway. weak, and broken.... everybody looking at him like some charity case.....when last week he felt fine and just had a cough. Thought he had time and shit, to build a future for his kids... People gotta understand. A man has to have purpose......once you see death coming for yo ass.... its up. Times is out. No more games............ like, over night. And you become all or nothing right the fuck now!! And it happens to every man, cancer or not.......... they call it a mid life crisis... i call it waking up... wait til u hit bout, 40 🤣🤣🤣 thrn u start freaking out..... i didnt brlieve'em!!!!!!! I thought, naaah, i got this shit... im good... 😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅
