运动员的坚持真的很动人。
刘诗雯，2007年加入国家队。从张怡宁2008奥运周期退役，郭跃接不下棒，领军人物曾一度在李晓霞、她和丁宁之间。
2013巴黎世乒赛 对阵日日冲天的李晓霞，2-4败下阵来。2015苏州的时候，刘诗雯面对丁宁，打法风格上有压倒性优势，张怡宁解说时 甚至戏称6:4/7:3都有点场面话的意思。戏剧性的是 丁宁场上扭伤，但更戏剧性的是 刘诗雯自己因此出现心理波动 而3-4错失良机。从此，丁宁打法转型，两个人交锋中开始胶着，胜负各半，刘诗雯彻底失去优势。
同时，球换了无缝、再改了大球，削弱了她原来的速度，更放大了她力量不足的风格缺陷。另外，新一批小将又不断涌出，带着更先进、更适合新乒乓规格的技战术发起冲击，一步步蚕食着她的二姐地位。2018末，面对小将，她甚至技术上已落下风，多次杀入决赛，多次负于不同小将。巅峰时候错过了世乒和奥运金牌，迟暮以后，眼见是更捉不住了。
这次Budapest半决赛，对阵老对手丁宁，0-2落后的时候，心里为刘诗雯的命运一阵心酸。可是第三局局末，某瞬间开始，看刘诗雯的眼神 和手上加速的狠劲，精气神像是回到了2015以前的巅峰状态。最终逆转，4-2，其中第五局送了丁宁一个11-0。那时候，心理就感觉，小枣这次可能有戏。最后决赛，对阵陈梦，又一个4-2，当中又是一局11-0。我想那一刻，她真的是泄了心中那口恨，对命运的恨。
从来不是刘诗雯的球迷--同时代球员，郭跃是我的唯一，直到郭跃离开国家队，改为支持李晓霞；但刘诗雯的实力、坚持和坎坷，追踪乒乓球的人都看得到。在她运动生涯的尾声，感动上天没有让她成为下一个乒乓球的王皓、郝帅，或羽球的李宗伟。

因为ITTF换了塑料大球，少了旋转，丁宁这种靠迂回，保守打法，早死早享受
eddie huang 伤害最大是旋转，再来是速度，最利于力量，而新生代几乎都是力量型，而且她自己也不是最能发挥速度的颗粒打法。
丁宁后期也已经转近台，不再依赖黏糊糊的球，算融合得很好，技战术也更丰富，虽然速度、旋转都不突出，但还算是综合性最高的，只是对到纯力量型的王曼昱 真的有等人死的嫌疑了。

如果丁宁不是北京户口，如果教练组不是护犊子把资源都倾向丁宁，丁宁有毛资格拿大满贯。这代女乒只有李晓霞和刘诗雯有绝对实力做一姐。李晓霞的力量和刘诗雯的速度才是当今女乒的先进打法，丁宁那种靠磨的打法早就应该被淘汰。当年丁跟刘刚出道的时候，在乒超丁宁几乎每次都被刘诗文屌打，如果不是教练组专门帮丁宁，她哪有能力和机会夺大满贯。特别是16年奥运女单资格这件事上，孔令辉实在太恶心，为了保丁宁，强盗一般剥夺刘诗雯的资格。之后刘诗雯被流放甚至被禁赛，这样欺负老实人实在太天理难容。

终于看到刘诗雯夺得世乒赛冠军。这个老是心软不情愿向对友下狠手和对自己要求极高的天才，终于临场突破自己，连续跨过老对手丁宁和中生代大旗陈梦，取得久违的世乒赛冠军，令人惊叹的是都是逆转取胜，都能毫不留情11:00一局剃秃对手，这可见这会真是扬眉剑出鞘。一把宝剑终于磨成了。祝贺刘诗雯。希望她在2020奥运会上不负众望，勇往直前，摘取女单冠军，成就自己大满贯之路。最后还要感谢她的指导教练马林，是他使刘诗雯重拾自信。名师高徒。
２０１５蘇洲她對隊友丁寧心軟不願下重手，硬是讓出冠軍，之後三年低潮調整。這個冠軍是極有意義的。
我们的小枣终于不再天真了，狠下心去打比赛。希望小枣2020拿奥运冠军，把那些当年排挤小枣，护犊丁宁的孔令辉之流的官僚们狠狠打脸。

I saw Liu Shiwen as a highly potential star player in 2008-2009 when she started yanking titles especially 2009 World Cup. I then saw Liu Shiwen go through more agony and hardships than any other Chinese female player after failing to help China win 2010 World Team Championships, not making the Olympics in 2012, failing to win the World Championship in Singles in 2013 and 2015 (losing to Ding Ning on one foot), failing to make the 2016 Olympics, then failing again in 2017 Worlds. In the process though, she did win many World Cups but that doesn't mean much to her. I thought all that potential would end up in the drain and 2019 was her last chance to win or else her career would've been finished with all of that potential.
In this World Championships, I pretty much saw the combination of Liu Shiwen's potential and all the experience she gained through those defeats along with increased mental strength and I could never be more proud as a fan for her to finally overcome those barriers and get that World Championship Singles title she deserved in these last 10 years.
Congrats Liu Shiwen, you've finally did it and truly deserve this title after 10 years of hardships.

I do remember LS doing a crazy run in the previous Marvellous 12 by wining 12/0. No one ever win in such fashion ever since.

She gave Ding Ning a 11-0, and Chen Meng another 11-0. She means absolute business here - a third chance she's been fighting for for over 10 years after losing twice in a World Championship final. There's no way she would let even one point slip her hand. Not after decades of hard work in on this stage.

after looking at the double 11-0, now i like 11-0 more than mercy point.
In an interview after Liu SW has beaten Ding Ning 11-0 in one of the sets, she was asked why she didn't give 1 point at 10-0. Then Liu explained that their team had an agreement among themselves not to give the mercy point to each other. So at this final match, it happens once again.
I am happy for Liu. She's one of the best players but her mentality held her back. I think it's her age and urgency caught up on her and pushed her through finally .

But You can see and tell at the point where Chen Just gave up during the prior & Mostly 11-0 Match Loss, She knew Liu wasn't gonna let her win this. these BUTTERFLY plastic balls are very HEAVYWEIGHT. These japanese HEAVYWEIGHT BALLS BOOST small body japanese players, and Harimoto and Liu Shiwen styles. Liu Shiwen is really world top class player. But Really, that this STUPID BUTTERFLY HEAVYWEIGHT BALL HELPS LIU SHIWEN in this tournament.
Liu Shiwen and Harimoto have 1 common feature, which other normal human players do not have : it is super reaction. We can see that there are rallies, but not so often and not so long. And it is important, that rallies are possible only in matches of world top class players. In other matches of professional players, there are not rallies. For example, in the group matches in this tournaments. Because these stupid BUTTERFLY HEAVYWEIGHT BALLS ARE SO FAST TO REACT. It makes table tennis to become less popular. This match could be more exiting and breathtaking if lightweight balls were used.
Why heavyweight balls fly so quick ? Because air resistance can not effectively slow down heavyweight objects. Air resistance can effectively slowdown lightweight objects. For example, you can not easily make lightweight paper balls to fly quickly. Players will have more time to react and apply various techniques. So, to earn points, you must challenge players to run around the yards , then you can earn points. It calls athletic skills, which always warn audience. That is what we see in breathtaking exiting rallies in the past of table tennis.
I explain why some manufactures specially make heavyweight balls, even thought heavyweight balls kill table tennis popularity and attractiveness. Players have trends to quickly finish rallies with less efforts. So many players love to make devastating fast balls to finish rallies. Of course, heavyweight balls are IDEAL TO QUICKLY FINISH RALLIES. And manufactures want to lure these lazy players to buy their heavyweight balls. Yeah shortsighted profit is the reason to make heavyweight balls to lure lazy players. Theses BUTTERFLY HEAVYWEIGHT BALLS MUST BE BANNED IN NEXT WORLD TABLE TENNIS EVENTS. Just try other lightweight balls, for example chinese lightweight YINHE balls, and you will see and feel ball controls and rallies.
ITTF increased the ball size to try to slowdown speed, but ITTF does not reduce ball weight. So we see that heavyweight balls now fly quicker than in the past. It shows that majors ITTF heads are bad knowledge . It is one of the most reason why table tennis loses attractiveness since new heavyweight balls introducing. Do you remember full audience halls in the past ? Do you remember very often long rallies in the past ? . But now, rallies are rarely . So some major ITTF heads should retire now, so that new knowledge heads can apply the new rules to reduce and restrict ball weight.
Shocked again. Part of me wants to explain this. Another, wiser part says 'shut up you tosser. Just be happy for her'. Liu Shiwen World Champion. Wonderful.

On 7th May 2019 presentation by Liu SW at CCTVsport is very impressive, well addressed, beautiful attractive and cute. She is humble, sincere and disciplined. Coach Ma lin is soft spoken, calm and unique magic player. Liu sw is unique dancing Queen in table tennis. Smart Japanese will play mental game with China. Enough is enough for liu so just play the beautiful dance in Olympics. Don't worry about win and not win.
When was the last time you see someone beat other side 11:0 in the final? And Liu did it in semi final and final. Amazing!

Chen Meng has to be the heavy favorite on paper with that thumping forehand, a successor to Li Xiaoxia. Liu Shiwen had to be more aggressive to even stand a chance. She is the sentimental favorite though, because since she emerged as a prodigy of the CNT, she has had no singles world championships. Liu Shiwen you will now be forever remember for those two 11-0s on the way to your one singles world title.

So glad about this heart-warming victory. The World Championship title is still the ultimate prize, the hardest one to win. Liu has taken the counter-hitting game to new levels of speed and her game is a joy to watch; yet she has found herself beaten to this title twice by her nemesis Ding Ning, the first woman to fully dominate with a looping game off the table. And then losing to Xi who was on fire at the time. Finally a gold, against the latest generation superstar, to add to her 2 silvers and 3 bronzes in this singles competition.

這場比賽是兩人生平迄今最重要的比賽。(沒有之一，絕對是唯一)
劉詩雯少年成名，屆臨退役之際，終於苦盡甘來，獲得生平最大獎項，也因此被列入東奧優先人選。

為什麼？
1.劉詩雯的個頭也不大。身材類似是最重要的元素。
劉詩雯跟伊藤都是屬於速度取勝的打法球風，則是另一個關鍵元素。
2.雖然劉詩雯的反手是屬於平面反膠，跟伊藤的反手短顆生膠大相逕庭。
但是兩人都偏向盡量不退台的近台快攻為主打法，這一點非常值得伊藤取法劉詩雯勝出的經驗教訓。
3.我常說以往的伊藤輸球，經常對她的成長進步，有著極大的促進作用。
反而，伊藤的驕傲自大會害她輕敵，然後造成爆冷輸球。
據報導伊藤近期專注研究如何剋制陳夢的取勝方略，以她的聰明慧詰，應該能夠找出解答之方。
4.如今的伊藤成熟多了，大意輕敵的事件逐漸降低，越來越罕見。

在這個戰略前提之下，伊藤的發球應該盡量以「側下旋的短球」為主(尤其正手位必須盡量不出台)。
其中又以側旋比例偏高(下旋比例較少)的短球使用多一些。
這個戰術策略是基於陳夢喜歡用「劈長」手法將伊藤發出的下旋短球，送到伊藤的反手底部位置。
如果伊藤發出的短球偏側旋比例高一些，只要陳夢誤判偏下旋，那麼陳夢劈長的結果，就容易出界或飄高。
伊藤就有了反手彈擊或正手拍擊，甚至正手扣殺的第三板強力攻擊機會。
能在前三板就結束戰鬥，不被陳夢拖入第四球以後的相持來回，伊藤的勝算必然大增。

Liu shiwen has put on the most amazing game. She is in an amazing form and am sure would continue to be atleast till Tokyo 2020. My only concern though is team selection.
