- This pilot let Mussa the rescued baby chimpanzee ride on his lap for the sweetest reason - to make him feel safe after he lost his family. In this episode of Wild Hearts, watch Mussa in his new home as he joins the nursery group, makes new friends and experiences his first day of school.

@@gorotrickster3280 They are making primitive tools, hunting in packs etc. They are known to collect flat stones and use them to grind and sharpen sticks and such. Some primates have been using tools for years. They will shove a stick down an anthill and pull it out covered with ants and eat the ants off it.

HES NAME IS ANTHONY CAERE .He work in the virunga national park .He is Belgium and do this already for years rescue baby monkeys .He had 2 years ago a really bad plain crash that almost killed hem ,bless hem

I know they're our closest relatives but it really hit me when I saw both the pilot & Mussa looking out of the window together, 2 living creatures acting in exactly the same way during an event that is not natural for either. This is a beautiful video & the pilot is a special human being. He could have so easily put the chimp in a cage during the flight, deeming it essential for safety reasons. Instead he focused on Mussa's well-being & made it an interesting, non-stressful trip for him. This is a great video.

Pauline Lloret eating other animals is the way we are supposed to live. This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to do this as humane as possible. Obviously there is no god, such as described in human-written books like the bible and quran. But we are ‘designed’ to eat animals.

Best baby I’ve ever seen on a flight.
As a former flight attendant, I can validate this statement.
Eventhough Sky is not a natural environment for this animal, see how calm the little guy was. It is the proof that the kind human gave the little guy the comfort and protection to make him feel safe.
He groomed him :-) That was just too cute. What a man will do for a baby!

I'm so surprised how calm and chill he was in the plane! The pilot is great and seems to be the best person to transport them!
Animals are incredible they can sense a kindred spirit and seeing mussa and the pilot bond is proof of that beauty

Thank you to the pilot who brought Mussa to the rescue. It was just so sweet watching Mussa sit on the pilots lap while in flight. So glad the pilot recognized babies need cuddles and love and didn't put Mussa in a crate.

I love the ‘second breakfast’. He is adorable, they all are and ever so precious.
Until they rip your face off because you gave your human friend a piece of candy in front if him but didn't give the chimp one.
There's a story about a chimp sanctuary with a dozen or more chimps living in it. One had a birthday and a bond with a caregiver. The caregiver came in And gave a slice of cake to his buddy chimp. He went about his business. The next day they found him dead.
The chimps he DIDNT give cake to ALL broke out of their cages and tore him to pieces.
Chimps are humans with super strength and zero conscience.
This pilot has a huge heart of gold and an understanding of what our primate cousin needed

Am I the only one who played/watched the airplane ride part of this multiple times?? It was just so touching! From him not just stuffing him in a cage...This man set the atmosphere with his peaceful, easy feeling (hearing the Eagles in my head now) - & sweet Mussa was, I'm sure, comforted by that & his compassion. He even thought to *groom* him to make him feel safe & cared for...😢😍 The whole video is wonderful. All of those people do wonderful, selfless, important work.

My favorite part of this video though...is watching that precious, curious little one on the flight to his new home. The handsome pilot didn't hurt 😉😄

Not gonna lie, I'm imaging myself in that pilot's shoes. I would have had felt 1.5 seconds of selfish sadness watching the baby chimp run into the arms of that stranger. For a second, I'd be like, "Awww... I thought we were special :/ " LOL. But then I'd be like "Nah... it's good he feels safe with her, she's the one who'll take care of him."
This has literally got to be the l absolutely sweetest, touchingly cute and most heartwarming thing I have ever seen in my life. Mussa brought me to tears of joy.
