  • Whether you are a newbie confused by the many documentation platforms or a seasoned MSP veteran considering a change, this webinar is the place to be!
    Luke Whitelock is the CTO and Co-Founder of IQ in IT, a small MSP based in Southwest London. He graduated from university with a degree in software engineering. He contributes to various open-source MSP-based projects and produces scripts to help MSPs in his spare time. Luke has done a lot of work with Hudu and created and maintains the Hudu PowerShell module.
    Join us to hear from Luke on how he uses Hudu & transitioning to it from other platforms, and also ask him any questions you have.

    Thanks for posting this. We use Hudu and have been very happy with the enhancements that Luke's scripts provide.

    Does Hudu handle organisation locations naitively yet?
    When I heard that they do not, I thought it was similar to KFC not selling chicken wings...
    Say for instance you have 150 clients and 100 vendors and on average each organisation has 3 locations (some have one while some have 30)
    If you run a PSA like Connectwise then the locations naitively sync both ways.
    Having at least a one way sync of locations saves massive amounts of labour and prevents certain human error.
    Considering contacts and devices are almost always location centric, not having that feature is a massive failure for the product.
    Even worse, that feature request is among the most requested for at least 2 years.
    Such a shame. I would change over in a second if that one issue was rectified.

      This is great insight to help other make informed decisions. I bet many are working around this by relying on their PSA to do the work, but I'll also pass this comment along to their team. Who knows, maybe it will be the straw that broke the camel's back.

      It doesn't do anything with them as far as I can remember. What kind of thing were you looking for? The latest version of it is built into CIPP to synchronize to NinjaOne www.ninjaone.com/integrations/cipp/
