Great run, one thing id like to recommend that may help you get longer life from your packs. smc Battery's are composed of special LCO's they do not like to be discharged below 3.6v for some reason i have the same thing happen to mine once "overly discharged" They get hot as all get out once discharged to 3.2v. Maybe this helps? Hope it does. BG4L
This is Mark Gambetta again, I received your reply, that’s all I do straight away for top speeds, my Oxidean Marine animal top speed 111 mph, I am having a great time with the dominator, like I said 85 mph was my fastest (goal now is somewhere between 85 and 90 ) but at those speeds it is hard to keep the boat on the water, if you’re going for top speeds I would recommend the carbon fiber dominator. The speeds I have gotten on both boats are stock electronics just bottom work props and weight distribution. Good luck and I will be watching and hopefully learning keep up the good work thanks
Just got mine back running went with a linerless stuffing tube had to make couple easy mods to keep it in the right spot. I got no handling probs after i got it tunned. Also added larger turn fins but i run mine more out of the water but when it turns they grab but no drag in straights. I run a level strut lil down on inner trim lil less on outer tabs turn fins just skiming the water on plane.seems to work for me.anyway impulse 32 still my favorite of my fleet.good video peace.
Love your videos. I have a dominator best speed 85 mph, I am surprised you purchased a pro boat after having the dominator. I think the dominator is a much better boat with higher speed capabilities. I will keep watching to see what you think. Keep up the good work, thanks for the videos Thanks Mark
Honestly it's so very similar to the Dominator. I still may buy a bare Dom hull, but I'll have to sell one before doing that. I want to build a drag boat, strictly straight line runs, im just testing different hulls til then
First time I've watched your show and I really like it. Great info. I know your trying to get the boat to run good and you did a great job at showing that. Every boat has it's own character, even model to model and you have to get it to where it's drivable but there are characteristics that you might want to play into. I like to bash my sonic and it's a great boat. Mine likes to run dry. My son has the same boat and his runs wet.as much as i try mine won't run as low in the water as his. But man wil it jump and 360 where as my son's won't. I play into the differences and learn to drive it better. Of course if it's not controllable then you have to trim it. I hope that makes sense.
I'm looking for RCBoat UA-camrs for help. There are no videos of how to setup an RC Boat with the Radiomaster TX16S MKII. Especially with Frysky receivers. D8/D16 ACCST V1. I really need someone to help. :(
Don’t forget man, it has ALOT to do with your prop too. Some are lifting props, some aren’t. With my spartan it loves non lifting props. Once I put a prop on that pics the rear up it’s too loose.. so before making a shit ton of adjustments, try different style props
Oh and the water is coming from where your stuffing tube comes through hull, it’s a common problem. Just get some water proof epoxy and fill that back area
I agree 100% but the stock prop seems like a lifting prop. 41mm x 1.7p that's why I swapped to 1.4p props. The 3 blade prop does so well, im excited to try others as well

I have learned so much from watching you so I subscribed!
Weird . Smc are top notch . Love them
My BJ42 came de-soldered, and the bushing jammed stuck to where I had to take off the strut in order to grease the shaft!! I hear it's common!
I ran this hull one time the day it came out and came home and ordered a df33 to put the hardware and electronics on.
goes great
I run a red and white impulse 32..awesome boat
Nice video mate. What happens if it flips, will it self right or is it go for a swim time?

It makes total sense! Every boat is different, that's why I keep buying different hulls. It's very enjoyable to tinker & test different setups
I used to run my boats in south Florida! One time a boat caught air off of a gator's back! Anyone ever had something similar happen LOL?
We typically deal with turtles 🐢
I can't wait for this lawsuit money to come in bc I'm buying all types of boats!! Which one would you recommend up to 3k?
Sonicwake v2 if it's your first boat!
I’m gonna nickname your boat flipper

Check motor water jacket for leak
@@RogallaMarineRC could possibly be that but 99% sure it’s stuffing tube
