I can't even imagine being on either side of this. Mom is wondering if she's losing her mind. Daughter thinks she doesn't belong. Everyone needs therapy.
I think this was based on a child custody case where they found the biological mother wasnt genetically related to her kids
I remember reading about Lydia Fairchild. She absorbed her twin, the kids had her twin's DNA and the state of Washington accused her of fraud and filed a suit against her, and the judge demanded an officer witness her 3rd child being born, then he said she was still being deceitful about it, despite the officer seeing the child be born! Then she had a cervical swabbing and found to be a chimaera with two sets of DNA, and her mother was also tested and confirmed as maternal grandmother of the kids so they then dropped the case against Lydia.
Also roughly same story for Karen Keegan, except she'd needed a kidney transplant and was only genetically mother to her third child, and aunt to her oldest two, despite carrying and birthing them.

my cousin told me about it but I didn’t understand because he told me about the mother and kids then after he explained it I realized it was like Clancy on House
what’s funny is I used to play the opening of that House episode for him at our grandma’s house when he was still kinda young to watch House (but I think he was already watching Doctor Who)
I saw the story on tlc that this is based on. The documentary is called I am my own twin
I can't even imagine how that would feel. If I worked that hard to carry then birth a child, I'd be flipping out about what occurred.

so if he got a woman pregnant (if he never had the problem) his brother could have been the father, right?
