A young woman is brought after a seizure, but soon doctors realise she's hallucinating believing her dead mother is in the hospital room with her.
From House M.D. Season 4 Episode 4 "Guardian Angels": While having a seizure, a funeral home cosmetician (Azura Skye) hallucinates she is being violently raped by one of the cadavers. When she is admitted to the hospital, she acts as though her dead mother is in the room with her; While Cameron offers advice to one of the remaining candidates for House's team, a recently fired Foreman has lunch with Cuddy, discussing his current situation.

but her experience is more reminiscent of dipenhydramine (benadryl) or datura poisoning
t. someone who has taken a lot of psychoactive substances that are known to humanity

typically what this show does is it takes symptoms that can even rarely be found with something. it just has to be something that can come up in 1 of every 1000 cases of the episode's zebra (zebra as in the phrase when you hear hoofbeats think horses not zebras, except by the time it gets to greg house's desk it's almost always a zebra or else a really weirdly striped horse). also consider her job at the beginning is mortician's assistant so that would qualify as being vulnerable to hallucinations of dead folks. i don't doubt your wisdom on the matter but house md doesn't go by the rules of "usually" it goes by the rules of "sometimes at most." besides it's a cool episode that leads up to a mundane conclusion which in this show can often make it even better.
