I am so grateful for your tutorial! My granddaughters bestie of 19 years saw something similar and mentioned how she wished someone loved her enough to make her a bag. I was hooked, lol. I would not have been successful without your gentle voice guiding me through these designs. You made it so easy. Thank you so much.
Thanks to you I was able to finish my first big wearable project and make it special to me! These three tutorials for the sun, moon, and star were so so so easy to follow and I'm so grateful!!! Thank you so much!
thank you so much for this amazing tutorial! i wanted to make a bag so i can carry all my stuff, but i got carried away and made a cardigan! all thanks to you, who guided me through one of the best projects i've made so far! thanks!! :)
Oh I’m so glad you enjoyed the tutorial! It sounds like you’ve made something amazing, congrats! 🥳 I still need to make some more squares to finish my cardigan!
this is a good tutorial and makes a lovely granny square. i think it would be helpful of explaining which stitch you are talking about, rather than just saying 'this one' as it can get confusing as you follow along
This is amazing! Thank you so much! I'm a beginner and not great with yarn amounts yet. If i wanted to make a throw using your star, sun, and moon squares how much would you suggest to purchase?
I’m glad you like it! I roughly use 25grams of the white and 100grams of the background colour for each 13 squares I made. This was in 8 ply / DK yarn. Hope that helps 😀
Hi! You will probably want to do a solid granny square. I don't have a tutorial for it but they are easy to make (look up some tutorials on YT). You'll need to do some trials to get it to end up the same size and number of stitches in the final round. Good luck!
Hi! At the end of the 2nd background round there is 15 stitches per side (13 stitches plus 2 corner chain stitches) At the end of the 3rd background round there is 19 stitches per side (17 stitches plus 2 corner chain stitches) hope that helps!
I’m so confused you say to skip over the chain 2 (which should drop the count to 11) and then increase in every stitch and that you’ll end up with 24. But the math says I should end up with 22 though? Can you clarify what’s going on and if I’m doing something wrong?
Hi, Yes technically it would equal 22 but I stitch into both the front of the slipped stitch join (at the start of the round) then also again into the other side of this same stitch (at the very end of the round). Some people refer to this side of the slipped stitch as the "false stitch" and don't stitch into it, but I like to work into this as it provides a fuller circle without gaps. Hope that helps!
Idk how but I end up with an extra stitch at the end of round five - theres supposed to be 9 stitches between the corners which I have but there like a tenth stitch for me not sure where I went wrong because Im counting and making sure. But I just slip stitch and act like its not there but I’d like to make it correctly 😅

Have now completed moon, star and sun. Clear instructions well explained, thanks.
Wonderful! Amazing! It makes me so happy hearing you made all three 😊

Yay! Thank you so much 🥰
Thank you for the pattern & instructions! It was fun to crochet! I hope to be making a blanket when I have enough granny squares.

Good suggestion! Thanks for the feedback 😀
Tank you very much for this amazing tutorial! From Brazil. ☺️🩷
Can you tell me which yarn you used. My granddaughter asked me to make her a cardigan from these granny squares and she loves the color.
It's so pretty right!? It's the Bluegum yarn from Blackwattle (an Australian company) in the colourway Songbird.

Is there a good way to make a square the same size with no design? Worst case should I do one of these all in one color?

I would love to purchase these patterns. Please provide the link to your esty shop.
Eeep! I still haven't got a chance to write these patterns up yet. I'll keep you posted though :)
@@julescraftfolk thank you! 😊
How can I get the written instructions
If I may ask, does it have 14 stitches on each edges? (I'm planning to make a bucket hat out if for a gift 😁)

What is the brand of white wool?
