+Blaze Blue It was bad enough that we got a stupid lousy painting of Oghren's concept art which can be seen near the bar at the Hanged Man in DA2 and not even a freaking reference to his entire existence in that game as well in Inquisition. I mean it felt like a complete rip off not knowing anything about Oghren's fate outside of Awakening. It's bad enough that Anders sense of humor had been completely stripped from him in DA2, but to top it all off by not carrying forth with Oghren in these games is adding insult to injury.
Shadowhawk28 I like Oghren too. that's why it's called "headcanon" (personal canon) my king warden was down to earth and Oghren was pals with him.he eventually sobered up and a new house was founded in his name.
This video brings tears to my eyes. Knowing no dragon age will ever be as good as this. The character development between all the characters, Zevran and Oghren arguing and telling jokes. Sten being terrorised by Morrigan when she creeped him out about her sex fantasies about him. Lelliana and her storytelling and singing, Wynne acting as the protective mother of the Origin team. That were good times. And people dare say games gives you nothing in return by playing them.
Mujtaba Ellari yea. Inqusition was better than DA2.But in my own oppinion..not even close to Origins. Sure the graphics are better in Inqusition but thats about it. It doesnt feel like dragon age to me. Origins will always be THE Dragon age game to me.
I agree with you 100%! Dragon Age Origins will always be the best, the characters were just brilliant, every single one of them and the whole story was dark and gritty. Also I love how your choices actually mattered in Origins. (SPOILER ALERT) Like in Redcliffe, if you saved the Mages you could use them to help Connor. In the other games the choices seem so meaningless and unconnected, pick one or the other and the outcomes always the same.

The best part about him is that he's a Beserker and a Drunk. Love both fighting and drinking. Even gets drunk on his first Darkspawn blood of the Joining.
Oh lord the bar scene with Felsi, I love it so much. I love taking Zevran and Sten along to make it feel like a proper boys night, with Zevran laughing his ass off at every line Oghren tries to use, Sten taking mental notes thinking that’s actually how you flirt with a woman, and the Warden with a huge pint of ale and their face planted on the table thinking ‘where did it all go wrong’.
OMG I got that last one when I played my male dwarven noble. Kept clicking on ol' Oghren and he just kept on flirting with me. I laughed so hard I had tears. Gotta love Oghren, especially when he is toasted out of his gord lmao!
You know, the 4 of them together probably could survive drinking Ryncol, that Krogan spirit. Maybe throw in Henpecked Hou, just to keep them all entertained!
@ModdyDhoo depends on which spike you mean. According to IMDB it is Steve Blum that makes the voice of Oghren. He also do the voices for many other video game characters.
@Blackemperess don't worry, she told my character that at first aswell. It was that conversation that made me actually record Oghren and when he talks. Allthough while recording I chose other things to say in that conversation and succeeded making them get togheter.

on my latest playthrough i was about to save Arl Eamon to assist us against the blight and the Traitor Loghain, but i think ih ad a change of heart, i need to get Oghren first, the blight and civil war can wait, off to Frostback mountains.
Take him to the elve runes in the forrest before you get to the dragon he sometimes say My mother always warned my from things that shit bigger shits than you (something like that)
Oghren is so underrated that he was never in Dragon Age 2 or Inquisition.
