The NSX dynamic it's very efficient. Amazing performance.
NSX-R won because it was fast enough to take advantage of the initial lead that it could take, since the Gallardo was not doing very well in the race it was also holding back the Stradale and GT3 (both were faster than the NSX-R which is why they caught up in the end). Just because the slower car won doesn't make it fake, that's just racing.

280hp is not just 280hp is about RPM . NSX R is very good corner speed and this racecourse has many turn.
its very funny to see, that a cheaper honda nsx-R. beat all the cars that cost a fortune, its really a laugh. the stradale would have won, if gan-san didnt block the ferrari, it was a good race:)

basic nsx cost about 40-60k but this type R NA2 model cost 100-300k. But I would still choose it because it's my dream car :o
Lex Buren This is what racing is all about ! Racing is a battle, in the biggest races, it happens all the time to break late to block lines etc ... NSX R is lighter and is famous for its breaking and cornering performances!
The nsx is a supercar because of its special abilitys, everything about it urges you to push harder literally everything the cars just over 1200kg extraordinary considering the other average car weights over 1500kg thats a huge difference in lightness and can only come about due to better materials throughout the whole car couple that with one of the best gearboxes ever seen on any car ever then the midship layout and the field of view and finally the engine.. VTEC smh all added up gives incredible amount of flexibility no other car there has that level of talent and all have to make up for it with either power or some computer added wizardry that really does says alot, great race regardless

The last corner of the final lap, "old bastard"...I respect elderly as much as I respect cars but I have to agree. How the fuck can he cut someone like that? It's legal but bullshit. Anyway, can't stop the 360 CS from running fastest lap. Take down the NSX-R by 1.84 second is damn impressive, as you can see that the Ferrari took a much tighter turns with a higher apex speed ended up a much longer arc length vs a shorter arc length for NSX-R. Result, catching the NSX-R in less than 2 laps after passing the Gallardo. I love the way Ferrari upgrade cars! Difference between first model and final model of same generation are extreme, have a look at the gap between Modena and CS...
In this test, the BMW doing so damn good, although it got more tire but it's the heaviest car there still able to hold the second fastest lap... This prove the M3 CSL is a much balanced car than the NSX. Actually, BMW M cars known as well balanced, since when NSX can "out-balanced" a M car?? Since never, I guarantee.
I think you've forgot that the M3 had the chance to slipstream when it was racing with other cars which helps for a faster lap while the NSX was alone for too long in the lead without slipstreaming support X)
While i've honestly dislike the fact that this video is mostly one sided to the NSX but i just wanted to point it out X)
BMW M3 could do fast laps but remember that the heavy weight will always be a disadvantage on endurance races when it comes to tires withstanding & brakes in races which is a very important aspect of motorsport when it comes to the longer standing on the track which the NSX has the edge on that :)
It's still just an e46. I'd rather have the modified rx7, rwd Skyline, ae86 or Silvia than that bmw.

horse power isnt everything on a track. yes straights do rely on powerful cars, but if you have too much power its not even usable so its pointless. the car "balanced" would have a greater chance of winning because it A) quick and nimble b) you can push the car to the limit and take advantage of most of its power

True that Gan san just want to win & sometimes he drives as if he is the only one on track (hattori have felt tat a couple of times too in other videos, he complains few times)... HOWEVER, u gotta admit his skill is damn good... remember too that
1. he has a lot of experiences with the nsxr, so he KNOWS HOW FAR he can push e nsxr (e.g. check out his braking overtakes, no overruns). The other drivers are customed to driving RHD plus they have little experience with each car they driving.
2. he is from racing background, so he should have the winning mentality...at all cost but of cos being done legally
3.he is old, how much time/ chances left he can keep pushing like this. Would rather he push it and no regrets.
Doridori also displays point 1,2 & 3 but not to the extreme like gansan in pt2.
The Lamborghini Gallardo was introduced as a base car. Like all Lambo's they develope and upgrade later in the life cycle , hence newer year model with more power, LP560-4, LP570-4 The Superlegerra,and two track variants, Super Trefeo Stradale and the Badass LP570-4 Edizione Tecnica. You must not know but Audi owns part of Lamborghini and has a rich racing background, since 2000-12 Audi has won 24hrs of Le-Mans 11 times. Not to mention The Super Trefeo series which is a Lambo only race series
This is simply what weight and balanced performance does.
Lambo and Ferrari are good, but their price is high above their performance. A simple commercial move to make them "exclusive".
The Super Cars were equipped with summer tires. The NSX-R, CSL and GT3 were equipped with high grip summer tires, with the CSL bordering on track tires. Google any of the tires and take a look at their tread, it's pretty obvious why the lower horsepower cars kept up. The CH, CM and CS designation reference the Gran Turismo 6 tire equivalents.

Notice the nsx had to b tuned vs a bunch of staock cars. The porsche an ferrari wud hav had it hadnt it been to he gallardo gettin in the way. Porsche all the way!!! Should throw a gt2 turbo against these. Wud hav humiliated them, ot the 2012 gt3 rs 4.0 which has a 500 hp 4.0L flat six. Sweet car.

just cause the nsx won its fake? and yes this course has a lot of turns but they are mostly higher speed turns and you also have the long straight to catch up which is where the ferrari had the advantage over the nsx. just look at the lap times people. if it were time attack the nsx would of placed 3rd

The NSX only wins because Gan San was driving it like mad, and the others doesnt. Just look at the way he downshifts, brake, and take corners. And compare it to the other drivers. The starlade even let his rpm fall to 3k in the last corners. WTH?..

imadude85 No handicap at all, the NSX R in 2009, even shown a superior speed in corners than 458 Italia on circuits ! Ayrton Senna really set and did a good job on the NSX R chassis settings ! The driver of the Stradale even admit it ... NSX R is faster than the Stradale in corners, the Ferrari is all about power .. read subtitles ! Now you know why NSX R is a legend, built by legends (Ayrton Senna and Honda F1 experiences)

they are not made for all round, they are heavy pieces of metal, with huge engines that they do not need....which adds weight...affects performance.

First off American cars are sold in over 140 countries, and yes people buy them. 2nd the Corvette is one of the most winningest cars in the GT-1 class of the 24 hours of Le Mans. Corvette is American. 3rd the Ford GT-40 embarrassed Ferrari at the 24 hours of Le Mans. There may not be any world reknown drivers from the US but Japan hasn't produced any either.

The NSX may be faster around the track, but it certainly isnt as safe as the lambo or ferrari. Also the engine/exhaust sound has nothing on the soul of the italian cars. Nonetheless, they are all fantastic cars.
