I installed it like this video and mine leaks at step 5 where the plastic hose slips out of the nut and the little plastic piece inside the hose comes out with it. I tried taping the outside and zip toeing it but still leaks.
I just installed this filter system, hooked up water lines no leaks water taste great, then I remembered to pull the clear plastic tab for the battery after water has already been run in the unit. It beeped a long time then slowed down and stopped beeping. Is that OK? thanks

What size is the brass T and the size of the tubing that connects to the water line, 1/2 inch? 3/8 inch? I see that its larger than the tubing that connects to the faucet, what size is the faucet tubing? Trying to see if i can install in singapore where our standard water line adaptor is 1/2 inch.

Depending on the amount of space available for installation, the AQ-5300 can be placed on the bottom surface. I hate how they always make these installation videos look so easy. Reality check; there's always some difficulty involved because the faucet has to be installed in an obscure area which is hard to reach unless you're double jointed, or a year after you buy a particular model the company decides to discontinue it's manufacture and you can't find replacement parts right away!
This video was really helpful. Although I didn't expect to have an extra plastic collar at the end. I guess the outlet tube only needs one.
