I’m fixing to have to do this. Both of mine are leaking bad! My dealer said he has never seen the plastic plugs on top have cracks. Hmmmm. Thanks for showing me how! Great help.
Great work Todd. It's been fun watching you bring this thing back from the dead. One tip..Chrome sockets will always fight you when you try to us them with an impact. There is more of a chamfer on impact sockets so the little ring at the tip of your gun can slide in. If you ever break or lose the ring at the end of the gun the sockets will slide off during operation..not a good thing. Looking forward to the next one!
Thanks Mark, Good to learn about the chrome sockets. I'll pick up some metric impact sockets. I just recently got the air compressor and impact gun because I'm doing more of my own maintenance since we moved to the farm. When I lived in the suburbs I didn't have the tractor and mower.
G’day Tod, hopefully you finally resolve all the problems with your 920M mate , That’s one powerful unit. We have just purchased a Z355E and we really love it. I see you have some more chickens, ours are slowly getting bigger. Cheers mate 🍻
Hey Wayne, You may have surmised from some of my videos that I also had a Z355E, It was a great machine. The only reason we got rid of it was to get a bigger unit. Yes, the Z920M is a BEAST. 60" cut and it moves much faster than the Z355E. It really has cut down on our cutting time. Glad to hear your chickens are growing too. We are on our second batch of ten in one year. Our first batch fell victim to a hawk. It got all but two. We just got ten black chicks because someone told use that hawks will think they are crows and leave them alone. I guess we will find out.
There should be one when I removed the Hydro Unit. The channel "Mechanical Mind" ua-cam.com/video/yKCabQ0dIDE/v-deo.htmlsi=9ZZUViLk9mFau0dc has a lot of good Z920 videos. Check him out.
Its a 13G Here is the link to the Tuff Torq Page tufftorq.ordertree.com/catalog/partslist/view/group_id/427067/?assembly=Parts&assembly_id=2540 Hope this helps.
Make sure the neutral levers are not pulled. This will prevent the mower from going forward or reverse. The neutral levers are there in case to have to push or tow the mower. They are located under the seat on either side of the hydraulic tank.
I admire you for attempting this job, I like repair videos 💯💪🏽
I appreciate that. I will try anything once. I enjoy fixing my own stuff.

Do you have a video showing how you removed those drive belts?

Clean the unit before fixing it. Makes it so much easier
I agree. I rather work on clean stuff.
I’m thinking about getting this machine. What tuff torq unit does it have?
