    Always loved W.A.S.P. - was also awesome how Johnny Rod was a great fit with Blackie for vocals. Coked out or not, he had energy, charisma and could sing while swinging that bass around. Too bad it had to fall apart. But such is show biz

    I was a casual W.A.S.P. fan for many years. This song is the one that made me a huge massive fan of theirs. It is still one of the greatest songs I have ever listened to all these years later.

      I was there too. 18 years old and medal mad. Donington 92 was my first ever concert, W.A.S.P were 2nd band on after Scottish rockers, The Almighty.
      In a few days time it will be the 30th anniversary of this show. Where does time go?

    They should have a better shoot of this with more Johnny Rod. Gave 100%, voice slightly broken perhaps, but amazing emotion.

    This is the first time I've seen this footage. I was there at Donington '92.
    This has to be the best Donington ever because ALL the bands on the bill did really well.
    This was one of the stand out performances of the day although I seem to remember the sound being a bit dodgy during WASP's set. Thanks for uploading. Great stuff.

    I love WASP. I got into them around 1992 with their Crimson Idol album. I then got their earlier albums. Their self titled debut album is absolutely brilliant. Been a fan ever since.

    you look so pure so Raw the energy stopping Jonny's voice is incredible set in it just beautiful and when the song change almost 3:45 oh boy that is when the song get good at least to me of everything that I've seen with this version live this is the best one

    I guess they figured it was a better show than the '87 appearance. They didn't trash the gear/stage at the end. It wasn't raining as much, and Johnny Rod was having fun! :) They also recorded it for release as well. I remember BBC radio recorded the '87 appearance for the Friday Rock Show, but Blackie didn't think it was good enough for broadcast!

    I'm a big Slayer fan, and to me the whole Show No Mercy album sounds like WASP. WASP even had a song called Show No Mercy. The first album didn't get dropped til 1984, but Blackie and the guys had been playing it onstage at least a year before. Slayer lived in Huntington Park near the Sunset Strip in L.A.

    So much energy! Bad videoquality, bad soundquality but you still have to move your head and your feet to the beat. And now i want a beer. Because of this clip. I'm pumped. ^^
    All 4 did an aaawesome job here. A clip that lets you smile although the dentist is maltreating your teeth.
    Should go to bed now. But fridge comes first.

    Great vid! Seeing Jonny vocals was awesome! However, at 5:31, Blackie was no where near the mich as the vocals rang out. :(

      @@M1tjakaramazov I just got The Crimson Idol remastered version that came out in 1998 and it has a second CD with bonus songs and live songs from this performance of Donington 1992 and this version of Chainsaw Charlie (Murders In The New Morgue) is on it. It sounds way better than this video version. I just got it yesterday.

    I remember the late, great Tommy Vance interviewing Blackie Lawless the night before this show.
    He asked, ‘what’s the main appeal of playing Donington?’
    Blackie replied ‘Money, lots of money’. 😆🤣😆

    Luego de la retirada de Rod, Blackie le aumentó a los Playback para los coros y acompañamientos. Pero Rod era tremenda energía en la banda y los coros y acompañamientos los hacía muy bn, le daban más calidad a las presentaciones en vivo.

      Similar a lo que pasó con Metallica y la retirada de Jason, los coros en vivo perdieron tanto poder, otro ejemplo es Dream Theater y la salida de portnoy ahí le pusieron voces de acompañamiento a los temas.

      tom richardson nope was an adapter he built for his own and the pedals are in front of him and are linked with pipes and are connected with extensions to each bass drum

    Love the rebel flag guitar, but one thing I have noticed with a couple different Blackie's guitars, the body is upside down, the cutout on the body suppose to be on the bottom
