Man I absolutely enjoyed listening to Goggins and Luttrell on this. I had goosebumps every time they spoke! You can even hear the passion and emotion in both their voices when they speak. That open door policy Luttrell said he had is the same policy I keep with my infantry brothers from the Corps. Semper Fi and much respect gentlemen. True American Heroes.

I've never seen someone's eyes reveal more than Marcus'... looking at them is like looking into hell. During interactions where he has to be cordial, you can still see the hell in his eyes while he goes through the motions of being well-adjusted. That, plus his twitchy movements (sudden jaw clenching, rapid posture shifting), are signs of darkness in his soul at levels I can't even imagine. Granted, I haven't seen videos of him before the incident, so it's hard to say exactly how much is a result of it.
I truly hope for the best for this man. Few deserve it as much as he does.

Goggins never deployed. Marcus has been through SO much more in his life. Goggins is nothing but ultra maration and mental toughness motivation. Marcus went through so much more than what little you saw in lone survivor. Losing his dog five years after too, people can't even imagine how tough he is. The amount of setbacks this man has been through would absolutely eternally crush almost anyone else. Marcus is a true hero and even a bigger man for doing this in good spirit and staying close to goggins when they both know the truth. God bless and keep him

@@braveinternetguy never deployed as a seal as far as I can find out. All the seals I've listened to say they've never known anyone who deployed with goggins or heard about him being deployed. Thank you for your service man my brother is a ranger did 10 months last year in iraq/Syria and I'm looking to get into the air guard lol but go tacp if I can. Goggins is tough but I don't think he can even br compared to the toughness and strength of Luttrell. Multiple deployments and going right back to Ramadi after he barely survived the last one in Afghanistan. I respect them both but still you can't really compare them.
Either way both were navy seals and David Goggins also went through 3 hell weeks in 1 year was also the only member to complete all branches of military training I’m pretty sure and still did 20 years in the navy. Equally they’re both hard guys and it’s a different type of toughness at the end of the day for any juman being
