If you ever come to Canada or the US, it’s a million times worse here. Despite the strict and clear rules (both directions must pull over and come to a stop), the only thing people remember is “come to a stop”. They panic and forget the pull over / get out of the way part and stop dead wherever they are. Or they are blind and deaf and keep going. Or they pull the front of the car over and focus so much on stopping that the rear end is still sticking out. It is mind numbing.

How do you work in London whilst living in Scotland as a firefighter? Do you travel down for the 4 days and then go back up to Scotland if so do you sleep at the fire station for those 4 days or have to stay somewhere else. I live in the midlands but want to work in the lfb
I travel down for my tour and then go home. Due to an accident the official line of the brigade is nobody is allowed to stay up on station. Unofficially most people in central London do. I know plenty of firefighters from the midlands that commute.
A friend of mine used to be a wholetime firefighter in Staffordshire but lived in Akrotiri RAF village in Cyprus. He used to hitch a ride on an RAF transport plane between the two places to perform his four-day shift rota, lodging with a pal for the duration, and then spend four days sunbathing!
@@The_FireFighter I take it you get the Virgin main line train that goes all the way to Glasgow or nearby? Wish I'd thought of doing it that way when I was interested in the LFB all those years ago, top effort balancing both lives! 👍👍
Don't appreciate the firefighter passenger princess having a go at the driver near the start, very unprofessional. Perhaps they had a lapse of judgement, it happens. All he has done is make them feel worse. Otherwise, top driving!
It never ceases to amaze me where some people think is a good place to stop for an emergency vehicle.
