19:00 Lever action rifles work because of the ammo they usually chamber. Rounds like 30-30 or .357 are flat or gently rounded on the end. This keeps them from accidentally setting off the other rounds in the magazine. Pump action rifles (the only one that comes to mind is the Gamemaster 760) usually use detachable box magazines that do not have the same risks because the rounds are stacked vertically.
My BF has 2 pump action, tube fed rifles. One in 30-30, the other in .243 Winchester. They're like 50 year old guns though. Edit: One is the 760 as mentioned, the other is a Savage Arms Model 120. Edit 2: 760 IS indeed box fed, but the Savage Arms 170* is definitely tube fed. Apologies, he's a bit of an idiot.
That was mostly proven a myth by french ordinance around the time of smokeless. They liked their tube mags and were concerned so they did some testing with spitzers, and if I recall their results were that it could happend but it was so unusual that there were far more dangerous things that could happend. My guess to why tube rifles are rare is that they require a rimmed cartridge and the only rimmed rounds are older stuff like 30-30, .357 and .44 magnum and 45-70. As to why every tube rifle except .22s are lever is probably something to do with where the bolt travels to and the style of stock that people use. If you look at a pump shotty you always have the ejection port and firing chamber really far forward while on something like a 1887 lever shotty or more or less everything in winchesters catalouge you have ports and chamber really far back.

In every case it is up to design and seeing as chain drtonations are still a problem with guns chambered in things like 30-30 so I would think that the magazine setup is slightly more prone to out of battery detonations in general. Still doesn't entirely write the concept off for the times that it was widley used in, my guess would be that the larger ammount of imperfections in ammo production would be a bigger risk for shooter and probably was a big part of the problem. Trials gets crates of ammo out of spec and with unusually sensetive primers, gun has a magazine setup that is a bit more sensitive to volatile primers than others, this tiny issue is exagerated through their equivalent of a torture test, noone wants to buy rifle. It's just my speculations but far from impossible.

The reason you're missing a lot of these revolver reloads is because you're moving the bullets around so much. I get that you're doing what loading it IRL would be like, but there's no reason to do it gameplay-wise.

Kongou Bongo practice, lots of it. Just keep playing and get better at reloading and getting shots on target faster. Finding good camping locations when on the points helps too.

Spawnlock allows ammunition to be stored on the player, and locked into place where it can spawn more ammo infinitely, therefore 'spawnlocked', while limited ammo is...limited.
Don't know if you knew, but you can squeeze the trigger on the controller and eject the rounds that way too. Oop, you did it shortly after I posted this.

On the Index, you hold a round, and press down on the touch pad.
Then as you touch other rounds of the same type, they get added to the stack.
