Didn’t know you were a foodie as well! I just made my eCookbook but I didn’t think of linking the table of contents to each recipe! That’s an amazing idea!!
Yes, my wife and I used to run a food blog. We had to eventually stop actively maintaining it because of time constraints and other pursuits, but we love our food! : ) cheers, Greg
Interesting Dan, thanks. You prompted me to query my good buddy ChatGPT 😂 and here's what they had to offer: *_Yes, Lorem Ipsum is derived from Latin, but it is not true, meaningful Latin. It originates from a scrambled version of a passage from Cicero's work "De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum", written in 45 BCE. Over time, it has been altered to form nonsensical, placeholder text, commonly used in design and publishing as filler text to show the visual structure of a document without the distraction of actual content. Although the words have Latin roots, the Lorem Ipsum text itself doesn’t form coherent sentences in Latin._* cheers, Greg

For the recipe book created in this video I was using my own photos and that's usually the routed you'd probably want to go for recipe photos, but for other projects AI generated or stock photos might work. If you do a quick google search you'll find lots of stock photo sites and AI image generators that can be routes you might choose when using imagery for a project, in each case you just want to check to make sure your intended use is in line with their guidelines and policies.
I'm only 5 minutes into the tutorial but I'm pausing it just to say I'm so impressed by the level of detail which Greg explains the steps he's going through! The video is really easy to follow even for beginners :)
I have a question. Is there a site where i can download photos to use in my online ebook? I only see payed stokck photos or free sites where it isnt allowed to use the their stock pictures for selling purpouses. Do you have a tip @learnCanvaWithGreg
Thanks for the question. For something like a cookbook, most often people are going to be using their own photos because they want the image to be representative of the recipe. If you went another route and used stock photos or AI generated photos then I think it would be important that they were still representative of the results one might expect from the recipe and also I think you'd want to be up front with your readers and credit the source for all your images. For other types of eBooks, stock or AI generated photos might be more appropriate and whether they can be used in commercial products is something you just need to investigate on a case by case basis as different services are going to have different guidelines and polices.
Finally!! some really help. Thank you so much for all the information that you have given me for the journey that I am trying to do. It was very detail, very easy to understand for a beginner like myself. You are very valuable to this community and I just subscribe to your channel thank you.
