This one put my lungs to the test, but I was determined to find this location. Thankfully the vibes I was feeling didn't last. What did you think of this location?
It's funny how a lot of people will look at a place like this and get "sketchy" vibes, but to me it just seems familiar. It reminds me of the gravel drive up to where my grandparents used to live that I think still has a few of the neighbors' abandoned vehicles parked in the woods, visible from the driveway, although it wouldn't surprise me to find out the Cadillac is now a Flatillac given this was pretty much the epicenter of Helene we're talking about. That sort of place does see it's share of crime, though. We've had copper wire stolen, we've had guns stolen, and I've also seen evidence before of someone hunting on the property without informing anyone, which could always lead to a dangerous situation, so you probably *do* have the right instinct keeping your head on a swivel in a place like that.
I give you credit for exploring the place despite it giving off serial killer vibes. Under the back of the first shed, it looked like a TV stuffed in the corner. I was hoping it would show up in the montage for a better look. I enjoyed the photo montage as always. You do such nice work with unattractive subjects. Sorry to hear you had pneumonia. Hope you fully recover soon. Thanks for taking us along.
I appreciate the hard work you expended getting to this location. Pneumonia sure takes its toll. I always find your montages to be so beautiful. I could picture them as a coffee table book, "Abandoned Places" or some such. Might be something for you to consider.
Awesome Findings JP, I agree about the old trailer, could be full of old stuff. Could be used as storage. Cool looking old Chevrolet truck, nice interior. And they look like Chevrolet engines, might be one of the engines from the Truck. And that old trailer, looks like the floor might be carving in. The other truck, I think that's a 1994 Chevrolet. Been a long time since I saw one
You’re braver than I am. In such a back hills property, there could well have been people living on site. You weren’t feeling up to par. And heck, there’s nothing at all suspicious about some guy looking inside vehicles and structures while filming and recording. Having said that, I’d have been interested to see a date on those newspapers.😉
Wow, what a place and very sketchy vibes indeed but it sure is fascinating. I can't get over all the stuff and garbage there. I am thinking that the person that lived there was a mechanic, and when they passed away, it looks like someone was using it all for storage and even a dumping place. Love the weathervane on the top of the gazebo type structure. Those vehicles were definitely cool to see. There was so much to look at! I noticed a small patch of nature's carpet on the back of the semi-trailer and then you pointed out the patch on the car. lol What an awesome Google Maps find JP and wonderful adventure! You sure had a big work out and like you said, put your lungs to the test, thank you for enduring that! Photos are fantastic! Amazing video, thank you for that too! 💙
That Chevy Silverado is either very late 90's or very early 2,000's so it had to be fairly new when the last time it was legally driven on public roads.
I can commiserate about getting over pneumonia……..it’s a slow process. You think you’re fine, but then, any exertion and you really feel it! Great photo montage, good music to match the mood of the photos.
People living their lives there. Possibly older. One or both passed away and the family couldn't deal with the amount of rubbish there. Over the years the weather has taken its toll on the property.
Awesome Google maps adventure JP! I'm surprised someone hasn't saved that 69 Chevy truck! Surely someone still oversees that stuff, makes me really want to know the story! Lots of cool stuff there! That's the epitome of a backwoods mechanic! There was a Oldsmobile engine up there by that truck I bet it was swapped out of that car! It appears to be a 79 cutlass salon. Thanks for bringing us along on the adventure! 👍
I get a feeling in the 80s there might have been a oversized roof or carport type structure covering the big machine tools there is no way they were just placed out in the open like that. My guess is the to the size of the roof structure 600sqft to 1000sqft
I am sorry to learn you were recently ill. Per the map at the beginning of the episode, seemed like railroad tracks were also near by. You must not have gotten close enough to them for the camera to catch them.
Hey JP 👋, awesome place . Looks like a place that was deserted . Do to anyone guess. But thanks for sharing and take care of yourself. Have a great weekend.
Glad I stumbled upon your videos! I was thinking around banjo's! I was thinking more like the Bellamy Brother's song, "Ole Hippy." Man has definitely got to use caution, coming upon a place like that. You might not get to hear any banjo music at all. Carry a firearm with you at all times, stay safe! God Bless you! (Glen) WV.
Jp that man probably died there that camper and truck trailer was probably his.i would ask around and find a bit of history on it it's not harmful to ask questions. Love this video but I do respect that your respectful of others
The engine's on the ground the ones that have the blue valve covers those are out of Oldsmobile's or some sort of truck that had Oldsmobile moters in them they came in a few cars and trucks those there are blue so that tells me that is a Oldsmobile rocket 350 there pretty common they run a long time I have one in my 1979 olds cutless still running today strong..
U would go talk to the neighbors there and see what happened there curious....jp what country and if state is this place in just wondering..i would like to buy some of them old olds engine's there a good moter ti have around...

1978/79 olds cutlass salon. The beginning of the bustleback era.

Definitely so much to look at. Was a very neat, but unusual feeling site, but happy it's documented. Thanks for coming along 💙

This is giving me "Wrong Turn" vibes. Just because it's out in the middle of the woods. Seems a little creepy.
Exactly
If your body and mind feels something isn’t right definitely listen. Awesome find man

Thanks eileen
Sorry to hear about your pneumonia JP. I’m just now feeling recovered from a bout of my own.
How long did it take you?
This adventure is giving me the hebeegeebees. Please be very careful and go home!
He's already there and back.... otherwise we wouldn't have a video to watch.
Hi Jay. Hope you are doing well. Awesome video.
Awesome adventure as usual Jay so interesting.👍👍
People living their lives there. Possibly older. One or both passed away and the family couldn't deal with the amount of rubbish there. Over the years the weather has taken its toll on the property.
The car you found was a late 70s olds cutlass salon, my parents had one with the diesel engine, it was a real turd.. keep up the good work sir..
That's one I never heard of. That answers why I didn't recognize it. Thanks for sharing
Yeah vacuums always be jumping out of no where!!!!! Thanks for the mention😂😂❤❤❤❤ love abandoned explores and bruh it's got some crazy vibes😊😊😊
Gotta keep those abandoned places clean haha

I imagine he was a jack of all trades and could probably fix anything.
I’m glad you are feeling better 🙏
Amazing video on UA-cam and I hope you get better soon😊
Im so sick of people wasting RVs when i need one to live in so badly

Thank goodness you could ride some. I felt bad for you. Take it a little easy!
I would have recorded the vin #’s and played detective. I need to know the whole story

I was glad I found this place, but was even more glad when I left in one piece.
1980-1984 Olds Omega, one of the GM x-cars. From the time they started to build front wheel drive models.
Strange vibes is an under statement. Can we say WRONG TURN!
This place looks like no one has been here in quite a long time.
Thanks for the video I think the person passed away
Dang, that 1500 looks like it could be a nice truck to save and get back on the road.
That year would have been a C10 for Chevy
My dad had a DeWalt radial arm saw similar to that model. Terrifying tool to use.
At first I wondered if someone hadn't been cooking meth there. I changed my mind. I'm curious, though. I always want to know the story.
Looks like Private Property to me
Man I was sort of thinking there could be a body in that trailer lol
It's always good to go with your gut feeling
Its like some deliverance kinda stuff.. lol.. Yea no way... lol I couldnt do this solo.. not without personal protection and with a couple people...
Thankfully nothing happened, but I was glad I had my 9 on me just incase.

Shed looks witchy😂😂😂
Breaking Bad vibes.
Just be careful don't over do it we understand your health is more important than the video's at this point
That's Norman Bates car collection
U would go talk to the neighbors there and see what happened there curious....jp what country and if state is this place in just wondering..i would like to buy some of them old olds engine's there a good moter ti have around...
Hm, maybe someone got up and left or older person who forgot about all that stuff.
Its a chipper
That's like a 62 to like a 73 Chevy C10 I believe..??
That is the same truck Farm Truck has on Street Outlways
@@DJboutit2Your correct 👍🏻love that show..
Yet after your destination, it's all downhill.
You just said what I texted😂
😁
i swear youve been there before...
All the money in them e-bikes, you should invest in a rokon motorcycle, it’ll climb them hills with ease, get you thru some thick stuff
That would of definitely been helpful here
Less talky
Mute it and put on some tunes 😁
