When I got the The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, back when I pre-ordered it on the Wii U, I got it with Wolf Link amiibo and got the music CD with it, I never opened up the CD, still wrapped up in it's plastic.
I got my copy from Amazon when I pre-order back then, used a £30 in amazon voucher, then later saw they lowered the price to £35 and got it for £5.

The worst punishment in Zelda imo is still the All-Night Mask from Majora's Mask when you can never sleep. Admittedly I still haven't played through MM yet but I've seen enough videos to learn that was by far the creepiest punished in Zelda I've ever seen.
    Great video Infamous!

Yeah the night mask is pretty bad but I feel like the people who were forced to wear it likely deserved it, whereas the Twili had become a peaceful, spiritual race who got turned into mindless savages for almost no reason, I dunno 😄

@@ZelRando oh don't get me wrong that's definitely an awful punishment. For me I didn't weight who deserved it or not, just looking at the punishment itself. Staying conscious while never being able to rest until you die terrifies me than being a mindless zombie since at least I'm not conscious of being a zombie. Supposedly anyway. Not sure if the Twili were conscious or not though 🤔

What time frame do you think the Interlopers originated from? I've herd two suggestions, so far. The time of Ocarina of Time/Majora's Masks. I've also heard it suggested that it was vaguely around the tome of Minish Cap/Four Swords.

I wager it's the fierce war we refer to as the Hyrulean Civil War, fought among the people of Hyrule seeking to take control of the sacred land of Hyrule.
This would explain why there's a lack of Sheikah, AND the distrust against the Gerudo, as seen in Ocarina of Time: because this led up to that.

“Some time ago, before the King of Hyrule unified this country, there was a fierce war in our world. One day, to escape from the fires of the war, a Hylian mother and her baby boy entered this forbidden forest. The mother was gravely injured… Her only choice was to entrust the child to the Deku Tree, the guardian spirit of the forest.
The Deku Tree could sense that this was a child of destiny, whose fate would affect the entire world, so he took him into the forest. After the mother passed away, the baby was raised as a Kokiri. And now, finally, the day of destiny has come!” - Deku Tree’s Sprout, Ocarina of Time
“This evil man ceaselessly uses his vile, sorcerous powers in his search for the Sacred Realm that is connected to Hyrule… For it is in that Sacred Realm that one will find the divine relic, the Triforce, which contains the essence of the gods…
Before time began, before spirits and life existed... Three golden goddesses descended upon the chaos that was Hyrule… Din, the goddess of power… Nayru, the goddess of wisdom… Farore, the goddess of courage… Din… With her strong flaming arms, she cultivated the land and created the red earth. Nayru… Poured her wisdom onto the earth and gave the spirit of law to the world. Farore… With her rich soul, produced all life forms who would uphold the law. The three great goddesses, their labors completed, departed for the heavens. And golden sacred triangles remained at the point where the goddesses left the world. Since then, the sacred triangles have become the basis of our world's providence. And, the resting place of the triangles has become the Sacred Realm.” - Deku Tree, Ocarina of Time
“Legends say that the Temple of Time is the entrance to the Sacred Realm… Did you know that?” - Woman, Ocarina of Time
“The three goddesses hid the Triforce containing the power of the gods somewhere in Hyrule. The power to grant the wish of the one who holds the Triforce in his hands. If someone with a righteous heart makes a wish, it will lead Hyrule to a golden age of prosperity… If someone with an evil mind has his wish granted, the world will be consumed by evil...That is what has been told… So, the ancient Sages built the Temple of Time to protect the Triforce from evil ones.” - Princess Zelda, Ocarina of Time
“I am Rauru, one of the ancient Sages… Ages ago, we ancient Sages built the Temple of Time to protect the entrance to the Sacred Realm… This is the Chamber of Sages, inside the Temple of Light…” - Rauru, Ocarina of Time
“When all was chaos, the goddesses descended and gave order and life to the world. They granted power equally to all who dwelt in the light, and then returned to the heavens. The lands where the goddesses descended came to be known as the Sacred Realm.
For ages, the people lived at ease, content in mind and body… But soon, word of the Sacred Realm spread through Hyrule, and a great battle ensued… Among those living in the light, interlopers who excelled at magic appeared. Wielding powerful sorcery, they tried to establish dominion over the Sacred Realm.
It was then that the goddesses ordered us three light spirits to intervene. We sealed away the great magic those individuals had mastered. You know this magic… It is the dark power you seek… the Fused Shadow. O hero chosen by the goddesses… Beware… Those who do not know the danger of wielding power will, before long, be ruled by it. Never forget that…” - Light spirit Lanayru, Twilight Princess
“...Do you remember what the spirit said about the Fused Shadows? What do you think happened to the magic wielders who tried to rule the Sacred Realm? They were banished. They were chased across the sacred lands of Hyrule and driven into another realm by the goddesses.
It was another world entirely… The antithesis of Hyrule, where the sun shines bright. Its denizens became shadows that could not mingle with the light. Eventually, most came to call it the Twilight Realm, and from it, none could return to the world of light… They were forever doomed to live in the twilight, flitting in the half-light of dusk, mere shadows of Hyrule...
This is the history of the Twili as it has been passed down from our ancestors… Do you now understand what I am? I'm a descendant of the tribe that was banished to the Twilight Realm!” - Midna, Twilight Princess
“Hyrule was always known as a sacred land in the past, and even now it's protected by the royal family and other spiritual figures… But there was a time when Hyrule was torn by conflicts that swept the land… And these recent disturbing events may be caused by the leftover anger and misery of the souls who departed in that conflict…” - Old man, Twilight Princess
“In Hyrule, there are many Hylian buildings which are mentioned repeatedly in the legends. These buildings, which now lie in ruin, pale shadows of their former splendor, are closely tied to the Triforce. Some were said to house the Triforce itself… If it were only a symbol of the gods, the Triforce would be coveted by many. But a verse from the Book Of Mudora (a collection of Hylian legends and lore) made the Triforce even more desirable:
      In a realm beyond sight,
The sky shines gold, not blue.
      There, the Triforce's might
      Makes mortal dreams come true.
Many aggressively searched for the wish-granting Triforce, but no one, not even the Hylian sages, was sure of its location; the knowledge had been lost over time. Some said the Triforce lay under the desert, others said that it was in the cemetery in the shadow of Death Mountain, but no one ever found it. That yearning for the Triforce soon turned to lust for power, which in turn led to the spilling of blood. Soon the only motive left among those searching for the Triforce was pure greed.
One day, quite by accident, a gate to the Golden Land of the Triforce was opened by a gang of thieves skilled in the black arts. This land was like no other. In the gathering twilight, the Triforce shone from its resting place high above the world. In a long running battle, the leader of the thieves fought his way past his followers in lust for the Golden Power. After vanquishing his own followers, the leader stood triumphant over the Triforce and grasped it with his blood- stained hands. He heard a whispered voice: “If thou hast a strong desire or dream, wish for it...” And in reply, the roaring laughter of the brigand leader echoed across time and space and even reached the far-off land of Hyrule. The name of this king of thieves is Ganondorf Dragmire, but he is known by his alias, Mandrag Ganon, which means Ganon of the Enchanted Thieves.” - ‘Gates to the Golden Land’; Manual, A Link to the Past
“This gift from the gods, Hyrule's greatest treasure, will grant the wish of any mortal who touches it. The Triforce once stoked greed in the hearts of men. A legendary war was fought to keep it out of evil hands.” - Painting I: The Golden Triforce, A Link Between Worlds
“To end the war for the Triforce, the royal family decided to hide it in the Sacred Realm. They summoned the Seven Sages of legend, who used their power to seal the Triforce away.” - Painting II: The Sealed Triforce, A Link Between Worlds
“There is a legend oft told in Hyrule Kingdom. It is the legend of the Triforce, once kept within Hyrule itself. Said to be a gift of the gods, the Triforce could grant a wish of all those who touched it. So of course, many wanted to get their hands on it. Wars were fought for the Triforce. The royal family summoned the Seven Sages, who sealed the Triforce in the Sacred Realm.” - Prologue, A Link Between Worlds
      -----
It seems evident to me that these are all parts of the same story.
Basically, there was a time when the Triforce was kept in Hyrule itself (which was known as the sacred land of the gods). But its presence eventually stoked greed in the hearts of the people, who began to fight fiercely over control of it-and the land of Hyrule.
So the royal family had the ancient sages hide the Triforce inside of the hidden Sacred Realm. Rauru tells us that this involved the construction of the Temple of Time to prevent evil ones from entering that holy place.
During the conflict, from among the combatants, interlopers who excelled at magic tried their luck and attempted to dominate the sacred land of Hyrule with their power. But they were banished to the Twilight Realm thanks to the intervention of the goddesses and the light spirits.
The fighting seems to have continued on until the king of Hyrule unified the land under his banner. Peace was in their grasp, but the notorious thief Ganondorf was determined to nab the Triforce for himself and rule the world. This period of bloodshed was also the reason why the orphaned Link, the Hero of Time, was raised as a Kokiri.
