Thank you so much 😁💚🌿!!
WOW your Masoniana Whales Fin Sansevieria is beautiful 😍. I would love to get a piece of one for my plant wish. It's hard to find in my nursery.
The one I had for the giveaway was a nice one😉🌿 and they aren't commonly sold here too. Trying to get my other ones bigger😉.
@@aGirlwithaGarden Okay I know your looking forward to seeing it produce babies. I love watching my Sansevieria produce pups. When they get big enough I give to friends. I love it. Thanks for responding.
Tina Pippen-Blackford that’s a great way to share the plant love💚🌿😁! My plant friends and I always share plants and cuttings 😁!!!
Very helpful video. I like the whale fins that appear wide at the base. Will my grown pups remain healthy if I bury their skinny bottoms deep enough ( maybe 4 or 5 inches) so that the width is at the top level of the soil? I think I said this right. Thanks.
You could always just find a thick, bark type of mix to put on top layer to give appearance of buried deep
I love the baby whale fin haha!!
How I wish i’ll be the now you can Choice too give that lovely and gorgoius whale fin..I really Love Sansevetia maam..Thank you😘
Beautiful plants
So I bought a whale fin and separated it with the help of your video! It’s been about 6 months and it isn’t as sturdy as I think it should be in its pot. Am I doing something wrong? 🙁🙁
I just got a BIG girl. She's beautiful and regal and a work of art. I'm trying to figure out how old she is, but they grow so slowly I have no idea. She's 18 inches tall and about 6 inches wide. She's also THICC. any idea how old your tallest one in the 10 gallon pot is?
"To boldly snip where angels fear to tread!!!" 🌿🌿🌿
Jon Galt snip snip away ✂️🌿
@@aGirlwithaGarden Actually, smart snipping in your case!🌿
Beautiful Whale fin😍😍😍😍 how long did it take to be this big. I read that they grow slow, is that true?
Hello there. That large whale fin that I propagated and is the one I'm giving away in my giveaway actually grew and took off last growing season. I did an unboxing of the plant when I first got it if you care to see the growth its had 🌿
Yours look healthy. I enjoyed your video. Do you know why my whale fin leaves are closing up or folding together? Is it normal for them to do so?
Mine too closes, why?
I love sansevieria .. i already have 18 varieties but no whale pin yet.. I cant find in any garden store here in my province..
That sounds like an impressive collection you have 😉🌿 ! Have you tired online? Places such as eBay or etsy.com?
I am starting to collect sansevieria and I dont have yet the whale fin variety..You might want to share one to start with. Thank you in advance!!
My fave sanse species 💚😍
Hi. Fall in love with your whale fin. I got my first whale fin(approx 20 cm tall) three weeks ago. Love it. Since last week the edges becoming wavy. Can you advise what could be the cause it? What should I do? I live in a tropical country and I water it once a week. Thank you..
Can you also propagate whale fin by cutting the leaves and sticking them in the soil until they grow roots?
I haven't propagated by this method myself so I cant really speak on it. However I have tried the same method of leaf prorogation but with water instead. I have also heard that the method you speak of is another way of propagation so it is possible.
Whale fin is so swoon worthy🐳🌱🤞on my wish list for many 🌙 ! Can't wait to name him...Ishmael🐳 of course😍
Lol awe would be a cute name to give it 💚
Hi hi thank you for sharing I have 2 small plants like the baby you have and they are both sending out pups but I want my own to get like yours any tips you can give wld be greatly appreciated thanks. God bless from Trinidad in the Caribbean
Hello there 😃🌿, they need space to grow within their container, well-draining soil, bright filtered light, and a good slow-release fertilizer. Something like a 14-14-14. Hope this helps.
Thank you will try what you say
I wish to have that variety sansevarian whale fin🙏 😍💚💚💚
Nice! very informative!
Thank you😃🌿 glad you enjoyed the video
Beautiful plants and nice video
Thanks for so much🌿! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Wow,, beautifull
Thank you so much

Carmen Whitehead yes I saw😉🌿!!! GoodLuck Gurl 💚!!!
Who got the whale fin ?
Where can I find one? Can't seem to find the whale fin anywhere
Nice 👍👍
Awww baby whale fin :P
Sasha Dasha 🐳 it’s the cutest 💚!!
im beginning to love snake plants as of the moment..
SHEILA JAPZON they are so easy to care for also 😁❤️🌿
Loved it, my favorit indoor plant 😊
Thank you 😉🌿! So glad you enjoyed the video. These are great indoor plants to grow that's for sure 😉!!
Hi there. I recently purchased 2 eight inch whale fins. Do you know if these whale fins will eventually have a pup? Or do only the mother plants give up pups?
Mary Jane Escorpiso each plant will produce offsets or new pups so to say given the right conditions 🌱.
Thank you!! Now to be patient...hehe
Super helpful video. Thank you!
So glad it was helpful 🌿!!
Thank you for this! I started with one whale fin and now two more babies are sprouting. Im worried that since the pot is small, they might now be enough room for the three of them to grow well. Shall i repot already? Are shall i wait until the new ones are fully sprouted? Just the tips of the babies are showing as of now. Thanks!
Hello there 🌿! Glad you enjoyed the video. You could size up the pot now. It could help the new pups grow in with better ease. I have some that really need to be repotted. I have one growing in and the pot is too over crowded and it’s having trouble coming in as there’s no room for it.
hello, what is your location? I brought back a small one from the Philippines few months ago and looking on informations on how to take care of it and I came accross you channel. I am in upstate New York
@@rubyancheta2078 Hello 🌿 I’m in Florida
@@rubyancheta2078 Hello 🌿 I’m in Florida
Wow nice look
How much
I just bought a whale fin pot with 7 leaves, so excited! I heard some people trim the leaves at the top to maintain a specific shape. Would you know if this could damage the plant somehow?
Ivy Hafer Hello there 🌿. I’ve never heard that that people cut the plant to shape the top. Yes it would damage the plant if you cut it. However the plant heals itself but you will see plant scaring. It’s not something I wouldn’t recommend doing with this plant. It’s not like a bonsai 🌳 tree which can be pruned and shaped.
Found you searching up Whale fin 😃💚 do you sale them? I'm interested. Stay safe 💚
Hello there... Glad you found my video 😁! I don't currently sell them but connect with me through instagram as I will have some for sale in the future 🌿
Hi.my friend gave me piece of whale fin cutting...i just planted it two days ago..should i put it under direct sunlight or place it first indoor?
Any time you are propagating a new plant you need to give it time to adjust. Placing it in full sun wouldn't be the best to do at this time since the plant is already in a stressed condition from being cut. Just place it in bright indirect sun for a couple of weeks before moving it to full sun.
First time to see your video, I just subscribed. I am impressed with your whale fins sansevieria. May I ask where you are located.
Estelita Martin Hello 😁🌿 yes of course...I’m in Florida
Those are awesome, I just got burned on eBay on a whale fin purchase 🙁
Cal Native oh no sorry to hear that😧....what happened?
What if mine doesn’t have have a rhizome that’s is separated like yours? I wish u can attach a picture, I have a fist size clump that has 3 leafs but what I want is one leaf per pot. What is a best way to divide something like that?
Hello it would be helpful if UA-cam allowed photo comments 😉. Do you have Instagram? You can find me there and send me a DM. I’ll be able to give better recommendations if I can see what you’re working with😁🌿
where did you get those cacti jars ?
Gracias
You are welcome 💚🌿
awsome plant
with my garden thanks...next wishlist plant is to find a variegated whale fin 🐳😍!!
Would you recommend letting it dry/callous a bit after cutting before repotting?
I haven’t had any issues with propagating it through this method as I don’t wait for the cut to callous over before planting and I’ve propagate quite a number of snake plants each year 🌿
im inspired here thank for sharing.
You’re very welcome and so glad to hear 😊!
My whale fin is starting to die on me. I took it out of the soil and there are no rizones on these plants. There are only roots. But it is rotting around where the roots are. What should I do.
Oh I’m sorry to hear that. Sometimes these plants are sold as rooted leaf cuttings. That sounds like what your plant is as it has no rhizomes. If your plant is having root rot and the plant is not as firm. The only way to try and save it is propagate it as a cutting and start the rooting process all over ☹️.
Salam kenal mbak dari aceh ni penggemar bunga senang naget dg saseviera mantap

Cute baby fin
New subscriber 🥳
Thanks for subbing so happy to have you 😉🌿 !! The baby fin needs a repot already 😉 but if I want to keep him small I could keep it in the size scale pot. Think I'll eventually upsize the pot soon but just enjoying its baby size for now.
Is this whale fin still available? Urh!!! Sooooooo pretty.
Are you selling your whale fin sanseviseria..?, I love this plant
Hello there 🌿. Sorry but currently I am not selling any plants. Hopefully in the spring I'll get my shop up and ready😉🌿 .
We don't have to let them calus over before potting?
I don't
Nope, not necessary.
Great video, very informative. Subscribed
