Why do people seem to always overlook the possibility, that they did in fact discuss kids over the years, but at the end of the day it just didn't happen for one reason or another?
I was soooo disappointed with the revival. It’s not the actors fault either. It’s like Sherman Pallandino came back and said, “How can I piss off Gilmore Girls fans?” Turning Rory into a loser and a jerk (sorry Rory). Making Lorelei and Luke into some weird ass couple who act like they’ve just started dating and regret it. I think the only part I actually liked about the revival was three things. The wedding, the tribute to Richard, and Emily cussing
The Paul storyline is not funny. He remembered everything about their conversations and they can't remember him. And Rory was with him 2 years? She is the absolute worst thing about the revival.
Do you understand how many dozens of people had to approve, film and act this storyline with no one saying...THIS IS AWFUL, UNFUNNY AND TOTALLY OUT OF CHARACTER???
It is called money. Just like Charisma Carpenter is now complaining after 8 years of working with Joss Whedon on Buffy and Angel. It's all about the money.

Rory kept him waiting because she enjoys the feeling of having a love triangle: paul chases after her and fuels her ego, while logan supplies her with the emotional stimulation she needs in the form of sex. In the end however, she's just using both of them and only cares about herself
I thought Lorelai is good at remembering people ? and that guy is nice and speaks a lot and fast, very much like them that I would assume he fit in great with them and he is Rorys boyfriend but they forgot him? Luke I'm not shocked but Lorelai, ooc no?

Whoever the writer is, they screwed up big time. The only thing that got me through the entire revival without smashing the tv was the cast. Excellent actors, talented, perfect. I’m sure if they’d let them improvise a bit, they wouldn’t have let their characters go downhill. Poor writing, amazing acting.

Why does everyone say Rory now is different to Rory as a young teen and complain about it? Kids grow up. That's life. I'm not the same person I was when I first watched this show. I've changed. Rory has too. She's made mistakes, she's changed her career choice, she's clearly spent time wondering "what the fuck am I doing with my life?" And that's the same for most people.
i think the point of the revival is to show that all angels have a fall because they are human. rory was so perfect like a glass. but she fell and that's what happens?
Cut Paul, have Jess, Doula and Liz over for Christmas, cut the awful musical, show Rory with her baby that no one knew about, make the struggle different, show Lane's great future. YIAL was terrible
One thing about the revival I never quite understood is how in the world does Luke still have that old green Chevy truck after all those years? Lorelai still has her Jeep, but toward the end of the series of Gilmore Girls, she had a better motor put in her old Jeep, and Rory still has her same Prius she got when she graduated high school. That would mean she would've had the same car for 14 years. Come on now lol
Well I had a car (a Honda) that was 21-22 years old when I finally got rid of it in 2017. Too many problems by then, including an AC that didn't work. Was my parents car for about 6 years and mine for 14 plus. It can definitely happen.
I know the forgetting Paul was supposed to be a funny bit but it wasn't funny. This is why comedy shows need a live audience. I bet if they had a live audience they would have fixed the story based on the feed back of the audience. It wasn't funny, it was awkward, cringe, and horrible.

Rory is disinterested in maintaining a Relationship and not considerate enough to break it off, but Paul doesn't get it.
They should have had Rory dating Marty that would have been more interesting.
