I worked in a car aircon place in durban, back in 2005 we worked on a rxi with the 2zz swap, the car wasnt all that strong, it was still being setup, but yeh this conversion was done back then, it was a white car

🧐 In Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 we put 6 cylinder engines in Toyota Tercels. 😜
This 1800cc 4 banger makes 200hp very ez and weights almost nothing. Even the car itself weighs less the a tonne and can run low 12 high 11s easily.
I heard there’s a problem with the oil pan on that engine. It can easily fixed by swapping the pan from a 1zz
Not recommended to do that even by Toyota

Help Gents, ive a RunX 1zz swapped engine from a 4zz but im having powwr issues. Just recently replaced the chain kit and the power was back to normal but it seems like it keeps losing timing or power... what can i do??? Its stock except for it being an import engine
Beautiful car, pardon my ignorance, won't the dual beams swap make more power, and surely you could reach well. Over 200wkw aspirated on a dual beam, the 2zz I highly doubt you can get anywhere near 200wkw,but very nice though, the car looks great
I guess it all comes down to how much money is put in yes bro. At the end of the day its comparing a 2L to a 1.8. and deciding if you wana spend a bit more on the 2zzge than the beams. Owner however bought the car with a 2zzge swap and broke motor. Replaced with another 2zzge as everything was in place already, shafts etc.
But to be honest the two are both well designed motors having both different characteristics. At the end I guess it comes down to personal preference. Like the owner says 2zzge is just different and he has nothing against the beams guys.
