Yes they are great subs I have a pair on a bass 3k on stock 2800 watt battery but I’m about to upgrade to the bass 5k and a 3500 to 4000 watt battery and alternator they with these subs you need them in pairs there made to work together more then just one! One is cool but 2 is better!
@Ceobub yep I end up trying a VXF but I didn't like it you most definitely need more than 1500 watts for it. But fast forward I now have 2 jp 13s strapped to a single Golden Eagle Audio 12 in a custom box and it sounds incredible! It's a direct clone of the CT Sounds Meso for half the price.
At that time I believe I was running after market coax speakers, but now I’m running component loud speakers and tweeters in the front and the same coax’s in the back powers by a 4 channel

You'll get slot more output if you flip it so port is facing the trunk lid so it has something to load off off

I have an evl and was thinking of upgrading to the vxf. I have a skar skv2 1500.1,so im glad to see that 1500 hundred watts was moving it nicely.

I use to have 1 12” vxf 4ohm on a rp3500 at 2ohm and handled it like nothing. On a 4 cube box with 58”s of port area. Loved the lows
haven't found a single 12 other than w7 that beats the type R for the money. p3 didn't come close. type r wrecked it
