- The Harley-Davidson Road Glide 3 trike won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but it offers a unique and maybe even charming take on motorcycling.
Harley-Davidson is known for its V-twin motorcycles, but it is also a leader in the weird and wacky world of trikes. With a history extending back to 1932, Harley’s relationship with three-wheelers is strong, and the modern-day versions, like the Road Glide 3, are high-end machines that carry many of the features found in their two-wheel cousins.
The Road Glide 3 is powered by the Milwaukee-Eight 114 v-twin engine and features an extensive infotainment system, audio capabilities, and electronic rider aids. But, of course, it has three wheels and a large storage trunk, separating itself completely from any two-wheel machine on the market. It sure does look cool, but how does it ride?

I've ridden for more than 40 years. My husband doubted my decision to buy the 2023 RG3 . Best decision I've ever made. My hip & knee no longer cause me to take frequent rest stops or avoid long distance trips. Now I'm the one who flys past the rest areas. It was simple to get use to riding 3 vs 2 wheels. I don't need someone to back my bike out now & regained my independence! I have gotten some grief from females thinking I can't ride that's why I have a trike. I've decided not to let stupid comments from uneducated ppl upset me. I had a girl scream can you even do a wheelie ? 🤣🤣no wheelie bars on my trike so 🤣🤣Sure I will show you for 43k 🤦♀️anyway it did take a bit to get use to trike back end blowing around . No one believes me. So happy you mentioned it. Good review. Best alternative to keep riding & not let sore bones to keep me at home.

A motorbike is a motorcycle with two wheels. A motor trike is a motorcycle with three wheels. Both are motorcycles in my opinion.
On a bicycle or a tricycle the power comes from the "cycling" of the pedals by the rider. Both are cycles in my opinion.
On a motorcycle the power comes from the "cycling" of the engine.
A comparison with a Boom trike or similar would be good to watch .

Just got one of these September 23rd the drawback that I have with it is that bounces all over the damn road and yes you have got to relearn how to ride the dang thing you can't run on the right side of the tire tracks and you can't do it on the left side then two big wheels on the other side of you get out into the gravel or into the other lane so be careful and it may take you awhile to get the shocks adjusted in too
