What a courageous woman! She didn't allow her trauma to define her. Wish her a long, fulfilling life.

Thank you Nadia so much for fighting for your people/women and recognizing how the abuse and weaponizing sexual abuse in war zones has been gloassed over by big institutions regarding the women in the Middle East since justice isn't their priority, but politics are. Now with Syria's upheavel, we don't know how the minority groups are going to be treated. Fawzia Amin Sido a Yazidi woman was rescued from Gaza, she had been held by Hamas as a sex slave (who operate like Isis) for 10 yrs.

As a Kurdish woman from the Middle East, I want to express my heartfelt apologies. I am deeply sorry for everything that has happened to you and your community. I feel at a loss for words and am truly saddened by the events and all the hardships you have endured, including what happened to your family. You have every reason to be proud of what you have accomplished despite such horrific and traumatic circumstances. I wish you much strength and resilience as you continue to support your community. Serkeftin û Biji Bo te Nadia

Why can't you fight for men as well? Why do you have to be so divisive?
