I liked WWII Zombies tbh, it was a callback to WaW while also taking things in its own direction. I just wish Sledgehammer could've followed up on it because where it ended feels too much of a cliffhanger.
To be fair the only thing I personally hated about the game mode was the jumpscares and the pacing of the tension you feel in the game because it feels more like a quick burn of tension vs the slow burn of the other games other then that it was good and different.
If treyarch wasn’t an icon, my bias gone, WWII would probably be one of the best zombies experiences ever. It was certainly unique and had a great concept
I think out of all the non Treyarch zombie modes this one had the most potential wish we would have got to see them give it another shot I bet it would have been really good
Fun fact: On Tortured Path’s second map at the last fish in the bucket step, my buddies and I found out that if you explode a grenade on the bucket that the fish goes in, it leaves a black mark on it making that step a lot easier to complete Edit: As someone who has put literally 3000+ hours into WW2 zombies, completed every single character challenge, and done every Easter Egg more times than I can count, it is definitely my favorite iteration of zombies by a long shot. I made so many friends online who were just as passionate about this zombies mode as I was and the community surrounding this game in its prime was unlike anything I’ve seen before or since. I could sit here and list off tricks for doing challenges, Easter Egg steps……the whole nine yards but there’s just so much to this game I would be here forever. It’s awesome to see a UA-camr who can actually appreciate this game as its own standalone mode and not just hate on it because it’s not Treyarch This is one of the most informed videos about WW2 zombies I’ve seen. Great job!
@@Stanley557 yep i usually build the shield last as well. Problem is you can do everything by round 9 but you wont have enough money to pack both your guns...UNLESS you stay in the shield trial for awhile and get as many jolts as you want. Then you can come out of the trial and just buy everything and go straight to boss fight 😉
Something to appreciate with WW2 Zombies is how they tied both campaign and multiplayer with the Attack of the Undead event after The Shadowed Throne. MP had the allies fight off the Undead army in various modes like in Hordepoint and Infected. They even had a War map "Operation Arcane" based on Zombies with the Allies raiding a Nazi Weapons facility holding the tesla guns from The Final Reich. Plus Vivian and Rideau are characters from campaign, so campaign, multiplayer, and zombies were all connected
This feels like a Jr rizzo retrospective but without the nitpiks and I love it. His videos made me give this game another chance after playing a few games and saying that game bad. This is the second review of WWII that gives it a chance and is way better than whatever most of the popular youtubers think. I give this review a 10/10 Edit: you unlock the Thompson, MP40 and M1 garand as starting weapons after beating all eggs.
Fun fact, 2 years ago they added 7 new weapons randomly (like 3 years post launch), and they all have unique pack abilities. For example, the packed LAD machine gun puts a instakill shield around your allies when you shoot them, the Erma when reloaded drops electirc stun orbs, and the M267 will cause chaining explosions when you kill special zombies. It’s really cool, and something completely unexpected that the devs did.
i think the effect you are describing for the LAD is actually Chattellerault's effect, if it is a purple bubble shield. Also i don't think they were added post launch, if you check Jr Rizzo WW2 reviews they were done in the game's life cycle and you can see the M267 and Erma Emp special effects in the gameplay.
@ those guns were released in 1.24, 2 years after the game came out, technically “past its lifecycle.” And yeah, I got the LAD and Chattellerault effects mixed up. LAD makes electric explosions on zombie kills when PaP’d.
@@jericho215 yeah you are right, i saw those 2 in a different video from late 2019, so 2 years after launch and 1 year after the end of WW2's life cycle
Also for Stanley and anyone who happens to care you can save a normal zombie or two walkers if you shoot their arms off. Gibbed zombies can't be turned to sizzlers. This helps a lot throughout the egg for shadowed throne
I loved WW2 zombies. I loved how much effort was put into it despite being made by a small team. The hidden characters were really fun to unlock especially for me, and I liked the story for what it was, Cameron Dayton is excellent at worldbuilding. Only thing that would've made it better for me was having one more "real" map over The Tortured Path which admittedly kinda sucks, but even then, I don't think it's completely awful either.
I absolutely love how you don’t just shit on the entire game because it’s not the aether story. My favorite zombie games are generally the most hated, and I hear a lot of shit about it, so this was very refreshing.
I was wondering why the meistermeuchler looks so similar to the Deadspace necromorphs and then I remembered that Glen Schofield was part of the zombies team.
Fun fact: In TST, the Smuggler doesnt die if you give him a packed weapon. He actually becomes an unlockable character, the Necromedic. Also, the russian soldier you contact in the opening becomes the Mountaineer!
I remember enjoying this zombies for what it was, I thought it was a MASSIVE step down from IW zombies though as I LOVED the lore and world building for that mode along with it personally feeling the most fun to play. Little did I know that it would only get worse with Black ops 4… the last call of duty that I will ever purchase I’ve played Cold War at a friends and it doesn’t feel like I’m missing much
In case anyone was wondering, on darkest shore the guy at the corpse gate is *roughly* saying "Please release me from this torment. I was only following orders"
Oh damn, I wasn't expecting you to reply! Side note, after translating that dialog, it makes me appreciate that the map makers/writers didn't make him some stereotypical bad guy who's cursing you out the whole time, or tries to defend himself. He just accepts his fate and understands that he deserves it
I actually enjoy this zombies. I didn't give this game the light of day bc of all the criticism but after playing it in 2023 I can appreciate what they were going for with this game. I just wish I had friends to do the EE.
Honestly, a perfect upload for 115 day. A great insight into a game most don't care to go back and visit. I love your perspective, and seeing the game from a different light has given me sort of a newfound appreciation for it. Despite its setbacks, I would've loved to see what they could've done for a sequel. If the rumor of CWZ originally being a direct sequel to WW2Z is true, it's a shame we were so close to seeing what that would've looked like.
Right! It's crazy what could've been. Who knows what they would've done but after all spending so much time with the game I think they would've knocked it out of the park
Coming back to this video now, I really enjoyed WWII zombies. I honestly do not understand why others didn't, it had a nice story and good characters. It actually felt scary and brought me back to WAW zombies.
I completed every single challenge for zombies, they were a lot of fun and added lots of replay ability. But there were like 5 challenges that were absolutely insane lol Very underrated zombies mode
If i have to guess which ones i will say: Penny Pincher and Penny Strangler from Slayer of Casabalanca TDS (Get Pommel and complete egg in a budget) TST EE speedrun in less than 33 mins (if done legit) TST social distancing for 30 rounds (no hits) (if done legit) TFR Hardcore EE by round 16 or prior
Hands down, was the scariest of every zombies mode I've played, for the first few days of trying it out I always had to play with someone just due to the jumpscares and atmosphere alone.
I really wished they made a all zombies game. Everything would be focused in on the zombies aspect for the best and could also act as an archive for every zombie modes. As well could present multiple story lines to play through… but that’s just a dream of mine
I love this games zombies so much I think it’s top 3 for me in my opinion, that maps were amazing except the shitty path but other then that the maps were amazing, I loved the story and it has 100% the best replayability with all of the character challenges, man this game is a gem to me, and darkest shore is 1000000% my favorite map on ww2
In groesten house you actually have a mystery box, you need to shoot all lanterns in the house and outside the house by the zombie spawns and then a room opens up upstairs with the box
Great work Stanley. Subbed, as this is the second video I've seen that's entertaining, educational and well edited, and amusing/comedic. Love the background music, clearly you are a TRUE zombies fan. Treyarch should be proud my friend. Hope you arnt actually lonely, you deserve better, but then again so do a lot of people. Wishing the best for you and others
Thank you for leaving such a kind comment thank you. I am blessed to always have the support I have in my life both online and offline. I love this series to its core, if you liked this video I can't recommend enough my IW AW IX and Cold War reviews. There's nothing I love more than this series and getting to share it with so many is a blessing I'll never stopping being thankful for. Have a good one bro
@@Stanley557 You are more than welcome! I absolutely love the retrospectives you’ve done on infinite warfare and advanced warfare, so two and half hours on this one is gonna be a treat 😂❤️
Wow, what an amazing review. You might be the reason I will get WW2 zombies prioritized as a zombies game I should most definitely have rather than getting it to complete the collection. Seriously amazing and in-depth video. You deserve much more views and subs for the amount of effort that was poured into this video as well as the past ones on AW and IW. Cheers!
SEVERELY UNDERRATED. The video was well made and thought out, it was long but not boring which made it way more bearable to sit through 2 and a half hours. Overall really good video! I do agree that some parts of the zombies mode is overlooked but overall it's just not as great as the other zombies modes and personally not for me but dang even though I dont really like the game you made me want to hop on and do a few rounds which is not a simple task. You have easily just earned a new subscriber and probably at least 100 others just from this video alone, keep up the good work hopefully by the end of the year you can hit 10K subs.
Thanks man! I'm super glad to hear it got you to play the game! That's all that matters to me, getting to share the gamemode I love with so many others! And glad you loved the video too!
Ww2 zombies was the first time I thought about why they hadn’t made a legitimate campaign of just zombies. We got something in one of the sci-fi cod’s but the story presented here seems like it would have been more interesting as a fleshed out campaign as opposed to the normal Easter egg stuff
Well Put Together Video! It even out does a few of the easter egg guides! Which is surprising for a retrospective! There are still some mistakes and goofs i just couldn't resist mentioning though: 1:29:03 You Actually Don't Need to spin the dial in circles to reset it, you just need to back off the safe to reset it. There's also a trick with that: if you were to leave the dial on the correct first number, it would count and you could go straight to number #2, saving some time. Laufenblitz (Stamin up) also gives unlimited sprint in ww2. Combine that with a melee weapon with a charge attack, there's no cooldown after the charge ends. Which means you can outrun the zombies, pests and gekocht if you have the pickaxe or nazi axe, making the safe step possible solo without specialists or jacks. 1:39:17 There is a better way to restock Wunderbuss ammo: The Wunderbuss pickup you probably mentioned on Straub's airship Actually gives full ammo everytime you pick up a New Wunderbuss, which helps prevent dagger roulette. 2:25:33 If my memory is correct, this is not a co-op exclusive phase. I accidentally made into the 5th phase on my first few solo attempts of the boss fight before i beat the fight for the first time on co-op, and i don't remember considering a phase where god king makes shielded enemies, the blood moon wipe attack, and a faster fire wall attack all in the same phase fairly balanced back then. Especially since there was little to no information on it back then. It is a beatable phase though, just gotta fully utilize the melee weapons' abilities and play smart. 2:31:06 This is slightly wrong, you don't have to do the main easter egg on darkened path. (Thank god) You have escape all 3 maps in a row to unlock the sanguine skull. I know this because i have not beat the main easter egg on darkened path difficulty yet. Other than my long nitpicks that just want to help correct some mistakes, Once again, You Did a Great job on this video and i don't seriously feel the maps were unfairly judged or misanalyzed here! But, I am more surprised you got this game's easter egg achievements all on solo! I don't know anyone else on UA-cam who did that! You have my undying respect just for that! 👍 But in all honesty though: 0/10 retrospective, Frozen dawn is worst F tier zombies map ever, how dare you not give it 1/10! >:(
The thing I love the most about WWII zombies is it's tone and atmosphere. Treyarch and IW zombies always have some level of jokey campiness to them. Even looking back at Verrukt, considered by many to be the scariest Treyarch zombies map, it still has the perk machines which are silly nonsense when you think about them, like why are these random vending machines in a mental asylum? Even Exo Zombies has its fair share of over the top nonsense, like Outbreak's main easter egg revolving around cooking a zombie meat burger. WWII meanwhile ditches the campiness almost entirely and doubles down on the horror aspect, shifting Zombies in a much more dark and serious direction. The lighting engine Sledgehammer used does wonders, as do the new zombie models and animations. I like how the early maps try to ground everything with a sense of realism. Like, rather than getting perks by drinking super soldier serum mixed into soda, the perks are instead explained as electric impulses which rewire parts of your brain.
I just found you today and I really respect your style. I know the frustration that you feel with hidden Easter eggs; I personally have holy artifacts my brother and I made as cheat sheets. I remember trying to play BO4 at launch with tears in my eyes trying to decipher some steps. For example, in Classified the step where you shoot the portraits, I couldn’t get it to work ever. Then I found you need to show the plaques in order of their deaths (ALL FOUR OF THEM), and I had to take a lap around my room😅.
I genuinely cannot believe that there is a single soul that likes WWII zombies better than IW zombies. WWII isn't bad but I wouldn't say it's good either, it feels like they sat down with a checklist of everything zombies should have and then made an off brand, great value version of it. Comparing WWII zombies to any of the treyarch zombies is like comparing sam's cola to coke it just ain't a competition.
This was a great review! I really appreciate your style when it comes to analysing zombies as a whole, you have a very fresh perspective and it's clear that your opinions truly are your own. It's honestly a breath of fresh air to have someone such as yourself or Rizzo within the community who gives a genuinely well-made and detailed review of the series when the vast majority of bigger content creators who cover the game pump out a lot of less than quality videos and regurgitate the same basic opinions ad-nauseum. There is a lot of detail in your video(s) and I appreciate you actively combatting common misconceptions about certain things within the maps or the games as a whole that are spread by larger channels and thus repeated by the general community and player base at large. I'm excited to see more!
I got into WW2 zombies late, like really late, like last year late. Anyways, I loved the creepiness of it, game actually made me scared lol. One reason I quit playing was the perk machine / whatever they are called. Died quite a few times trying to re-get a perk when I downed in a round because it holds you for like 2 seconds. I know I know, skill issue, but still. At least you could grab the perk bottles & move.
Loved this game, my friends and I were terrible at zombies but we still had a blast because the EE had a shorter version for players who were not quite as good. We still got to experience the boss fight and cool moments. Honestly, that was a pretty good way to do it!
im really glad you gave props to the horror aesthetic of this game. i’ve always felt that the Zombie designs in WWII are some of, if not the absolute best in the series and the atmosphere, at least in The Final Reich, was absolutely incredible. i think i would have been 13 when this game was coming out, totally just getting into horror, and i absolutely LOVED the main trailer for The Final Reich. i remember watching it over and over again, and this was the first time i was super excited for a non-Treyarch Zombies game. i genuinely wanted it to succeed so badly. sadly tho, as a poor preteen i couldn’t afford to buy it and never did aside from with a few friends :(
Ngl ww2 has the best zombies vibe and I think I like the perk animation more than a soda I wish other zombies were dark and played more into the horror like have perks be injections and gobble gum would be map pills
Just started watching your videos,I love how in depth you go into the maps, and I feel like ww2 zombies was by far the most underrated out of all the zombies games
Ik I’m really late here but here’s some tortured path context: the hilt is in that basement because the Bureau was moving it in a caravan, and was attacked. In the chaos, someone hid it there. In chapter 2, the zombies literally come from the water (canonically). They can walk underwater, even the ocean. That’s why one of Straubs lines in TFR mentions how they could “march across the English Channel”
I recently started playing WW2 zombies, and I like it more than expected. I’ve been playing zombies since BO1, and Treyarch is the GOAT when it comes to zombies. I like the enemy variety in WW2, and the fact it’s more horror themed with more grotesque, scary models.
So I am coming back to this game and there is so much content to the game and replayability. It's honestly a pretty complex and difficult game with these Easter Eggs. I've done the Final Reich and Hardcore eegg but after buying the map pack recently there is so much to learn - it's overwhelming almost!
I am genuinely surprised you are under 1k subs I've watched this video all the way through (well listened to it while I drive for work) and the IW zombies one very entertaining. Keep up these great videos! Oh also I agree with you on the bigger zombies UA-camrs quality and being correct doesn't matter if you are first is there mindset... Unfortunately.
Glad you enjoyed it! I know the quality will more than speak for my subscriber count! I'll get big when I get big, I just like making high quality stuff!
@@Stanley557 after just watching the aw zombies video I can see a resemblance to the almighty Rizzo another favorite of mine! Good job hopefully that is a compliment
Glad I'm not the only person who relies on Deadshot so much that I've developed the obnoxious habit of spamming the left trigger to snap to the zombies heads.
I liked this game. The zombies mode was dark enough that it kept my interest. The story and the Easter eggs weren't particularly great but the atmosphere was amazing
Absolutely love WW2 zombies! Played a lot solo and co-op also! Have done all the challenges and still help people with them today! I never get tired of it!
Gotta be my second favorite COD zombies, probably due to nostalgia, but its also a very fun game. It also has the best "theme" imo, because there is no bullshit stuff that feels like it doesn't belong.
As a casual player, I really liked WW2 zombies. I get why sweaty tryhards might not like it and how its very difficult to get to high rounds because of the avalanche of fast-moving boss zombies but that didn't stop me from having fun. I enjoyed the horror-like atmosphere and the overall aesthetics, and the giant zombie abomination in "Final Reich" looks so insane I loved it.
Amazing restrospective for WWII Zombies, appreciate the effort and hard work put into this it really shows. This is gonna make me revist the game it had alot of potenital and the art direction/atmosphere may be the best of all zombies games in my opinion.
I've been rewatching your retrospectives and revisits of WW2, IW preparing myself (mostly mentally) of fully committing to getting all their respective quests done for the achievements... But it's made me wonder why you yourself don't make guides for the quests. It'd make life easier for me since I don't really like watching people for their bloated video guides that often miss details - however if you made genuine guides I'd watch them and it'd feel a little easier for me 🙏❤️ I suspect there's a good amount of viewers that'd like to see your take on quest guides n stuff too - especially with how much you love doing them solo.
I got almost every dlc for ww2 minus the last one and I can say ww2 is one of my favorite zombies mode. I like how they went in on the horror, considering undead would be rather scary if they were weaponized the way they are in ww2
Also, the useless fact is that the cod ww2 miltplayer takes place in the same universe as zombies. Infact we got a event at HQ where Allied troops fighting the zombies on the beach.
Since I was, and still, am not in a position to buy DLCs freely, I used to spam the only big map WW2 Zombies had, and I gotta say, it was amazing. It was challenging, it had a scary atmosphere and it was quite original. I loved the shove system, since it was high-risk reward
COD WWII came out free on playstation plus a while back, and definitely became my groups favourite zombies experience as we kept playing the first map over and over again. I think the more handholding approach is definitely a good thing in most cases, as my friends could never keep up with the more easter egg style objectives. :)
You deserve so much more views for the amount of effort and video length and in-depth breakdown! I wish ww2 zombies had better systems implanted, a rework of the perk system, and more inticing maps. It would have warranted 8 total maps in my opinion if they had a better grasp on zombies as a whole. In my opinion the this is the most intriguing artistic design and ambiance a zombies game has ever had.
I wish I had more time to attempt the character challenges honestly. A lot of them seem really cool. Although some of those Darkest Shore challenges are insane
@@Stanley557 They are cool, for example the smuggler is the necromedic unlock-able character and the Russian on the radio in shadowed throne is the mountaineer. If you want help my psn is appelman1. I almost have all of them. I could show you some too for a video if you want.

im surprised on how this is such a small channel yet your videos are actually really good and give a lot of your own thoughts and opinions to help prove why certain mechanics are good/bad. Honestly, i know zombies is dead right now but this is really good content, u should be proud. keep it up dude
@@Stanley557 no problem dude, there’s so much negativity in the world that I when I see something that has a lot of really good effort and work put into it, regardless the size of the channel or whatever it is, u need to appreciate what work went into that project because it just makes the persons day. I know I’m just some random dude on the internet and you’ve probably gotten a bunch of comments like this but it never hurts to help support small creators. Have a great day my man
Okay, so I know the jumpscare attempts on the final reich are cheap, but my first time playing the map on day one they actually got me (also I've somehow never know about the pack-a-punch ambush until now despite me having over 50 hours in ww2 zombies)
I thought it was common knowledge but I haven't seen anyone mention this in the comments. In the shadowed thrown it can be any gun for the smuggler as long as it fits this category. Well here you pick up the wonderbuss there will be bullet casings either assault rifle shotgun shells or smg with are much smaller whatever one you have in your game tells you what kind of gun to give to the smuggler .
I last played this game in 2020 until now, im loving it again rn, also now i play multiplayer to, however with the dlc maps the lobby are often filled with master prestiges that play super annoying like camping all day or sniping with the parachute. My kd is only like 1/1 😅
for me the sword is one of the best wonder weapons, yes its not new but its efficient, also when the crystal is glowing red instead of bestowin zombies you could get one armor instead
You can also do an explosion with bestow power, and I love that you can stun a few zombies with R2 then click the melee button and send a directional geistkraft blast at a horde and instakill them.
Ww2 zombies is such a underrated experience it did a good job of creating its own identity but also keeping the same vibe as treyarch Fun fact condrey and Schofield who helped created the first 2 maps left the development of the 3rd map to work for activision but now don’t work for them
My favorite part of WWII zombies was the design of the zombies themselves, they are truly terrifying. Reminds me of the film Overlord since that came out later, it was probably inspired most by Frankensteins Army. WWII is actually slept on I feel, I enjoyed the game
I remember playing WWII zombies and I was addicted right off the rip very fun had a promising change of scenery in zombies and wasn’t bad as extinction off ghosts I really do miss WWII zombies
I actually really enjoy WW11 zombies I still play it actually. the art direction they went with is probably my favorite style out of all the cod zombies stories.
I loved this zombies as for me it sparked the same magic that the original black ops zombies did at the time, I didn't play since bo2 but it didn't take long for me to be hooked on the game, I think I reached master prestige 550 before I decided i was done with the game
Thanks for making this video, ww2 zombies is not as bad as everyone thinks it is. I've honestly had a lot more fun playing it than some of treyarchs work, I hope in the future sledgehammer will return to this mode and give the story a proper finish
@@Stanley557 couldn't agree more, a decent majority of the game has gameplay for casual and hardcore players alike, want to just chill out and shoot some zombies? Go ahead and just build the tesla gun, want to dip your toes into more of a challenge? obtain all of the tesla gun ammo variations

Fun fact, 2 years ago they added 7 new weapons randomly (like 3 years post launch), and they all have unique pack abilities.
Yeah someone told me about that one time on stream, wish I knew that before going into it
I loved WW2 zombies.
One quote I remember the most. “Now we’re cooking with gas” just never stopped, over and over
Another one is drostan saying Ohh Fancy or when ever you activate the hilt to make the Tesla gun he yells this thing sucks down zombie juice
2 years later, but even the armor stations have a similar feeling to the stores in dead space lol
I remember my first time experiencing the blood sewers event, my first thought was "oh I'm so boned" and my final thought was, "oh they are so boned"
Fun fact: In TST, the Smuggler doesnt die if you give him a packed weapon. He actually becomes an unlockable character, the Necromedic. Also, the russian soldier you contact in the opening becomes the Mountaineer!
Ooh I didn't know he becomes the mountaineer that's cool
I remember enjoying this zombies for what it was, I thought it was a MASSIVE step down from IW zombies though as I LOVED the lore and world building for that mode along with it personally feeling the most fun to play. Little did I know that it would only get worse with Black ops 4… the last call of duty that I will ever purchase
I’ve played Cold War at a friends and it doesn’t feel like I’m missing much
WW2 Zombies created so many memories with me and i love it it’s just underrated
In case anyone was wondering, on darkest shore the guy at the corpse gate is *roughly* saying "Please release me from this torment. I was only following orders"
I was not wondering but really cool!
Which ones
Which ones
Which ones
If i have to guess which ones i will say:
Penny Pincher and Penny Strangler from Slayer of Casabalanca TDS (Get Pommel and complete egg in a budget)
TST EE speedrun in less than 33 mins (if done legit)
TST social distancing for 30 rounds (no hits) (if done legit)
TFR Hardcore EE by round 16 or prior
Hands down, was the scariest of every zombies mode I've played, for the first few days of trying it out I always had to play with someone just due to the jumpscares and atmosphere alone.
I really wished they made a all zombies game. Everything would be focused in on the zombies aspect for the best and could also act as an archive for every zombie modes. As well could present multiple story lines to play through… but that’s just a dream of mine
The Final Reich was a great
map. Training in the pack a punch room was a lot of fun

Holy cow thank you! Kind words like this make the past six months worth it! Hope it lives up to your expectations!
Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed the video! Comments like these make it all worth it!

Cold War really does feel like WW2 zombies but with competent map design.
Tbh I liked ww2 better, the feel of the gameplay and the dark gritty atmosphere is like no other, and Cold War doesn’t have that gritty feeling
@@michaelstewart9309 cold War doesnt have any feel at all
Not a bad game, but a very bland one
@@hidenname541no soul to it, facts
Excuse me? Competent? You dare say WW2 had bad map design AND claim cold war was BETTER?
Ww2 zombies was the first time I thought about why they hadn’t made a legitimate campaign of just zombies. We got something in one of the sci-fi cod’s but the story presented here seems like it would have been more interesting as a fleshed out campaign as opposed to the normal Easter egg stuff
Well Put Together Video! It even out does a few of the easter egg guides! Which is surprising for a retrospective! There are still some mistakes and goofs i just couldn't resist mentioning though:
1:29:03 You Actually Don't Need to spin the dial in circles to reset it, you just need to back off the safe to reset it.
But in all honesty though: 0/10 retrospective, Frozen dawn is worst F tier zombies map ever, how dare you not give it 1/10! >:(
The thing I love the most about WWII zombies is it's tone and atmosphere.
I actually really like sledgehammer zombies, i think their all very fun
In my biased opinion, this is the best zombies experience I have ever seen.
Bro I’ve watched two of your zombie videos so far and I’ve enjoyed them hella, I hope you keep it up man, I’m enjoying the content
Glad you like them!
I'm actually really glad u brought up the fact the midnight and hurricane names should have been switched. I've thought the very same thing for years
Listened to this video while at work and it reminded me as to why i loved this zombie mode. I really need to go back and play this again
Huh that water one i did not know actually, just seemed a little silly ij execution. Thanks for letting me know!
Your guide for ‘David meet Goliath’ to kill the Guardian single handedly got me the trophy thanks 😅😅
I'm not sure how but I'm glad I could help!
@@Stanley557 Just using frontline and the M2 Carbine and spraying him when he jumps down haha

It'd make life easier for me since I don't really like watching people for their bloated video guides that often miss details - however if you made genuine guides I'd watch them and it'd feel a little easier for me 🙏❤️
I suspect there's a good amount of viewers that'd like to see your take on quest guides n stuff too - especially with how much you love doing them solo.
I loved ww2 zombies. It was literally fantastic and this video analysis was great.
Now I’m finna look for cw, bo2, bo1
COD WWII came out free on playstation plus a while back, and definitely became my groups favourite zombies experience as we kept playing the first map over and over again. I think the more handholding approach is definitely a good thing in most cases, as my friends could never keep up with the more easter egg style objectives. :)
Great review man! I personally love WW2 zombies, I'm glad Sledgehammer gave it their best on one last run (for now).
Glad you enjoyed it! I had a blast making this video and honestly wish I went into the sound design and ambiance even more!
Ww2 was my first zombies game and made me fall in love with the mode, sad to see it had such a controversal history
...the whistling is just a cod version of the resident evil wolverine, same weakspot, both run at you when attacked, and deal heavy amounts of damage
I honestly love ww2 zombies due to the fact that it adds the horror aspect back to cod zombies

I thought it was common knowledge but I haven't seen anyone mention this in the comments. In the shadowed thrown it can be any gun for the smuggler as long as it fits this category.
