Certainly a lovely watch. I considered buying the variant with the rose-gold hands and brown dial. While I appreciate the clean, minimalist style, the omission of minute markers was the primary reason I didn't pull the trigger. Instead I opted for the Commander with the silver dial and black, as well as rose-gold, markers. That watch retains the minimalism, but there's just enough in terms of color and form to make the dial vibrant and entrancing. It includes minute markers as well as day and date window, framed with a beautiful rose-gold. So tastefully executed. One reviewer said it was off by only 3 seconds per day and it has a power reserve of 80 hours. The retail price is about a 1000 dollars, but I purchased it for 400 (American). That's a great deal. Mido is very underrated, offering some of the best dress watches for the price range, easily the equal of Hamilton and Tissot, and in some cases, arguably even better.
I also bought the brown version, the white one is too minimalist, especially because I already own a Max Bill, a Meistersinger and a Tangente. I've decided to be less minimalist.
