I remember playing this when I was in 3rd grade and thinking "Hmm, I bet this will be another boring cave level." Boy, how I was proven wrong.
it was at this moment he knew, he f&%ked up.
Even if you try to bring other pikmin somehow into the submerged castle the game will say you can only bring blue pikmin with you into the cave
Even if you brought others with you, you're immediately dropped into a pool of water. Which yeah quick reflexes could save anything, but it's to solidify the fact that you HAVE to have Blue Pikmin
Even interesting, if you manage to find hacks to bring other type of pikmin through water, the cave doesn't allow you to get into the cave with other type of pikmin expected the blue one
can't wait to hear this in it's remastered glory

When he does appear, the map doesn’t even tell you. Any other enemy or boss, it tells you. But this time? The devs really wanted to put in that fear factor.
The first words I said when I saw him were

I was collecting the last of the treasures when some Dweevils came down and delayed me, then it drops DIRECTLY ON TOP OF ME, 30 BLUES, AND THE TREASURE.

I remember so clearly playing this in the living room, screaming and crying because of how scared I was. My parents and my sister ran downstairs to see if I was okay, but saw what was happening and sat down to watch. They were laughing their asses off because I kept accidentally bumping into him and screaming every time. Looking back that was funny asf.
