i have a 1 acre solar farm with a metal warehouse building. what do i need ( licensing , hardware ) to produce solein for 8 individuals as the primary source ( only source, in emergencies) of fiber/protein/fats nutrition?
much better and more efficient ways to produce protein at home. Normal bakers yeast can produce protein from almost only sugar, called yeast extract. Mushroom mycelium can turn almost anything organic into edible protein, like animal or human manure, wood, discarded food, etc.

C’mon, guys. You are a critically important, billion dollar start up. You can release information on progress with the factory, strategic plans on first using Solein as a filler for livestock feed and pet food, etc. etc.
The absence of real information is worrisome. It’s making me wonder if Solar Foods has overstated its commercial readiness.
It can take up to 4 to 5 years to build a factory for something like this. They started building their factory in 2021, so we aren't going to see an infinite supply of steady solein until 2025-2026. Once it's proved to be viable by supplying Finland with food, world governments and major investors could funnel money into the company to build factories around the planet.
@@aaronkoning7255. It can take 4-5 years… but it can also take 2… or 7. Thats kind of my point. Would love to know how its progressing.
As for what they supply first, my guess is that they will quite intentionally target animal feed. Greatly reduce the real estate and water cost of livestock, reduce zoonotic incidence, and prove viability and safety of product.
