  • Get ready for loads of fun in the air - a new swift and dexterous PULSE 2200 has an elegant "scale model" look of a modern glider, a fully mechanical wing with ailerons and flaps, a robust carbon-supported design made of foam EPO, and thanks to a brushless power class 600-800W it is powerful enough for acrobatic and slope flying. A perfect recreational aeroplane, which will every advanced to professional pilot fully enjoy!
    The fuselage is made of highly durable foam EPO (expanded polyolefin) with thorough inner reinforcements. In the hull is placed electric brushless motor C3548-750 with a foldable 11x8" propeller and an ESC RAY G2 R-50SB with a powerful input voltage BEC stabilizer needed for powering of 6 servos onboard. The canopy is detachable, fixed in place by a tenon on the front and a magnet on the back. On the bow, you will find enough space for a propulsion battery and a receiver. Rudder and elevator servos are located in the tail part of the hull, and the rudder is controlled via a short direct wire linkage.
    The two-part wing of the model made of foam EPO is reinforced by carbon supports, whose overlapping parts are also used as a wing joint fitting into dural holes in the fuselage. Halves of the wing are locked in place by a plastic screw. Ailerons (reinforced by carbon strips) and flaps are always independently controlled by two servos with short direct wire linkages.
    Tailplanes are too made of foam EPO with carbon strip reinforcements. A two-part horizontal tailplane is fixed to a keel by a carbon joint and a pair of screws for simple assembly and disassembly.
    Model is powered by brushless motor class C3548-750 with a 50A ESC RAY G2 R-50SB.
    Energy is provided by a LiPo 4S battery with a capacity of 2600-4000mAh with a discharge rate of at least 30C. Determine the best type so that the centre of mass is optimal without further weight balancing.
    The least you will need for controlling the model is a 6-channel computer RC without any special features - in the basic variant, there are ailerons and flaps connected via Y-cables into only 1 channel. Of course, using a 7-channel computer RC set is optimal, since it allows independent controlling of ailerons and flaps by two servos and their mixing as a butterfly airbrake (both ailerons are raised up and both flaps raised down), which can nowadays be achieved even with an affordable Hitec Flash 7 or 8, Radiolink AT9S , AT10II or with a Futaba T6K transmitters. In that case, you need to swap the Y-cables of ailerons and flaps in the fuselage with 4 separate (15-30cm) cables.

    Got my Kavan Swift and maidened it a few days ago. All went well, 5 mins in and on 4th attempt at a good landing, the plane tumbled to the ground landing on its back snapping the rudder clean off. The aileron clevis had pulled out which tumbled the plane. Not enough glue and the foam it was stuck to was slick. The glue they use is more a white silcone sealant. The clevis should really be glued and screwed into the ailerons and elevator. Esp for such large control surfaces and a fast paced plane. Told the hobby shop and they've sent photos of the plane. Kavan got back and said I should've checked the control horns prior to flight and picked up on their QC issue. They also blame a tip stall for the crash and the Aileron control horn came out as a reault..funny how it landed on it back qnd has zero damage on the wings. Btw the rudder control horn pulled out too as the rudder snapped completely off due to it landing on its back. So either way its my fault. Easy to get out of it if ur prepared to never accept theres an issue with the product.

    Hat Kavan servo mit plastik Zahnrad,oder mit Metalrad?

      Hallo Martin, Quer- und Höhenruder werden von Servos mit Metallzahnrädern betätigt. Andere Servos verwenden Kunststoffzahnräder.

    second Pulse I buy....cause I finde It Great....but It has to be said: servos are absolutelly cheap and NEED TO BE REPLACED FOR BETTER ONES.

    Muss man den Schutz für den Rumpf auf der Unterseite selbst ausschneiden und ankleben?
    Und unter den tragflächen sind die weißen Plastik Schützer zum Schützen der Anlenkungen?

      Der mitgelieferte Rumpfschutz ist nach dem Rumpf geformt. Man muss ihn ausschneiden und ankleben. Der Gestängeschutz ist nicht mitgeliefert. Die Flügel sind nämlich hoch über der Unterkante des Rumpfes platziert und sie sind so lang, dass kaum Gefahr besteht, dass die Gestänge den Boden berühren. Höchstens bei der Landung auf einer wirklich unebenen/gebrochenen Fläche.

      @@kavanrc Ok vielen Dank, dann werde ich den RumpfSchutz wahrscheinlich nicht dran machen daher ich auf dem Flugplatz im weichen Gras lande.

    Ist der Antrieb auch für 3s geeignet?

    Eins der schlechtesten Produktivideos die ich je gesehen habe! Man sieht keine 10 Sekunden wie er wirklich fliegt??? Nur Videozamgeschneide und in allen unmöglichen Perspektiven gefilmt...
    Keine Daten, keine Angaben zum Modell nichts... Schlechter geht's nicht.
